Werid question i know you say golden bat requires 7's to proc but why wouldnt you upgrade the 1 face after the 6's Face

Probably so that you can get more faces at 7 faster since if they went strait for the 1 then they would need 6 upgrades as opposed to the 2 upgrades a 5 face would need
