Times have changed since you were away. Jaw Tooth kept me and the railfans well-occupied while the legendary Hobo Shoestring passed away. Good to see you back, friend!
@kitty2005 Congratulations! This is a big thing. Yeah, I still have a little ways to go, but about just getting started... this was 30 years ago :) Great you like the video.
I really appreciate your channel and quality camera work. It's a breath of fresh air from the boring stationary view of a long train for 5 minutes I see in other channels. Your panning, zooms, and focus on different aspects of a passing train is impeccable and keeps me watching!
Cool you like this style. I completely agree, of course. It's just nice to watch the trains from different perspectives and also focus on some details. I particularly like the zoom shots.
Great Video, your catches are one of the things that led to me making my own channel! One odd thing I did notice was that the S806 Military Train never had his head lights on, and he only had his ditch lights on when he was sounding the horn!
Cool, glad I helped inspire your own channel. Yeah, the lights were off all the time. I think the flashing ditch lights come on automatically when the horn is blown.
It's good to see you are back, we all missed your uploads. CSX 3194 is always a welcome sight, she's one of the most beautiful locomotives in their fleet. I guess traffic is much smaller on this line than years ago and you simply can't film anything for us. But at least the trains in this video are cool. It's interesting that the two upper lights on the military train's locomotive are out and only the ditchlights are working. Very nice footage, thanks for the entertainment.
Hey there! Thanks for your nice words. Both #911 and #3194 are certainly my favorites among the special-themed CSX units. I should have gotten HO models of them when they made them recently, but I missed that. Yeah, traffic levels are rather low and I do not even live close enough to this line to give it occasional blind shots not knowing whether or not there will be anything rolling. I simply don't want to waste time. But I'm sure there will be more videos in the future. Glad you enjoyed this one, too.
Great to see you making and posting videos again. Enjoyed this one as usual. Do you know what the CSX boxcar that has 'do not hump' lettering on it is used for?
Well, it's good video creators have different styles viewers can choose from and watch what they like most. Narration can be useful to add historic background or a story, but that's not really the case here. I can get away with just the minimal information. Sometimes, annotations can also help provide additional context. Great you like this style. Keep watching :)
Right, I work a lot with zoom and pan in the field and then the raw material needs to be post-processed while cutting the video at home. The latter is the most time-consuming process. It usually takes 8-10 hours to edit a video like this. Great you like this video style.
Another weekend is here!! 🤩🤩✔✔
Haha, have fun!!

Indeed, time progresses and it does it way too fast...
It will always bring joy watching your videos even though time had passed quickly

Hallo Andreas, schoen von Dir zu hoeren! Ich hoffe, es geht Dir und Deiner Familie gut. Prima, dass das Video Dir gefaellt. Gruss nach Bayern.

No problem

Great you liked it. No, I actually don't know what these cars are used for.

What do you use to Record
I currently use a Panasonic WXF1 camcorder.
Love that rs5t on him
A train video without garbage narration. Just the trains. What a concept…

Cant wait to hop in one of those CSX engines in the future(even though theyll be powered by hydrogen)
Good luck :)
@mbmars01 ive been waiting for a reply from you since I was 10! Thanks
Haha, I hope it's not been too long a wait since you were 10 :) I usually reply to comments addressed to me as quickly as I can.
do you shoot these with 2 or 3 cameras?
All this has been recorded with just one camcorder.
@@mbmars01 really? some of the overlaps and sequences suggest two... That is incredible...a real art.

only 2 engines on, not much of a lash up, somebody at the railyard needs to work on lashing up, great to see ya again,
Yeah, I was also used to seeing this train with three engines, but let's hope they knew what they were doing :)
