I read about him more and i liked him a lot (even in apocrypha anime. That fight with Seig is still my favorite fight of all time). He spooks me a lot and carried me so none other than him deserved to be grailed. 2- Gilgamesh: i like his complexity as a character and how majestic he is. The more i know about him the more i like him more. He’s one of the ssrs that i didn’t spent money to get him. 3 tickets got me np3, and 2 from multies in different time. 3- Chokita: i love this girl and how kind she is, and i like what they called kuudure so she’s definitely one of my most beloved character. 4- Abigail: i liked her a lot in Salem and i like how innocent she is despite the god who resides in her. (Any one can say what they want about her. She stands to none in her sheer amount of cuteness) 5- King Hassan: he’s the reason i returned to this game. If i didn’t get him back then i wouldn’t be playing this game. 6- Okita: she’s okita, i used to love her by a lot, fate/ type redline skyrocket my love for her. 8- Arjuna alter: more hp and damage. He’s badass why not I also grailed the Orion and Romulus cause i like the grands Herc: cause he will not lose to anyone, he’s the strongest in the world. Ashwattman: i liked him in lb4, he’s badass.

My Grail Story LVL 100 Nagao Kagetora. I started playing right before Guda4 came out. So she became my first SR , as I continued to use her the more I read up on her lore and started to like her even more. Then the voice is just so lovely and I like how she has very little understanding of human emotions. So she became an easy grail target Lvl 100 Paris. As I played I saw the lil boy and I really liked the way his animation were. As I continued to use him as I was quite fresh into the game and had no idea about other archers he naturally became a character I liked so much that I been using him in most events and stories where I can. LvL 100 Jalter Summer. Now Jalter is what got me into the game. Reading fanstories and seeing all the art. I just love the badass girl that can kick my ass xD And people overplaying the Tsundere part naturaly made me love her. LvL 90 Jason. There is nothing to hide. LB 5 story made me just like him , he really grew on me and his NP is fun. so he became an obvious grail target outside of good farmer XD LvL 90 Shuten Douji Caster. What can I say. I love the VA for Shuten and I enjoyed the event a lot. Shuten been through a lot with me throught the story so I thought she was a good Grail target Lvl 90 Hokusai Saber. She is cute , her art style is lovely and yeah that is about it XD Now I think she def should go to 100 because she does so much for me on my account LvL 70 Arash I grailed Arash because I think he deserves it. The best farmer and a cool story . He might not have stats as a SSR but he is worth more than that =w= Lvl 100+ (not done yet) Jalter , as I said before with summer.- She is the biggest reason I started FGO and she is also the biggest reason why I commission art today. I find her story interesting and I even read the singularity manga . Hoping for Shinjuku Anime XD Also I talk with one of the jalter doujin makers now and then xD so she made me meet a cool creator too

Mata Hari lvl 100: My first grailed and bond 10 servant. I started grailing her as a joke due to my terrible luck back when I first started playing. After reading her profile regarding her wish and using her from Orleans all the way to the Solomon raids, she became one of my favorite servants in FGO. Penthesilea lvl 100: A straightforward and brutal NP animation for a female berserker and a cute design. She's probably the one I'd consider my number 1 waifu in FGO. Columbus lvl 100: I have a soft spot for villains you love to hate. He's unredeemable scumbag with a crazy beard no never gives up. It also helps that he's drawn by Moto Murabito. Bunyan lvl 100: I just want to protect that smile after reading the All the Statesmen event... Sei Shonagon lvl 100: Her memetic NP and class aside, she's got a fun personality. -Caesar lvl 90: My second grailed servant, enjoying a well deserved retirement after nuking Lancer Artoria. -Gareth lvl 90: I love her second ascension design. -Chen Gong lvl 75: The perfect servant for getting rid of unwanted story supports *cough*Shimousa*cough* -Leonidas lvl 70: Cool muscular spartan
I'd love to list all the reasons why i decided to give grails to my favorites but I'd end up having to write a full essay on each So instead I'll talk about my eventual level 120 servant and why I'd grail them that far once they're out in NA: Oberon, I barely know what happens to him in LB6 besides being spoiled on the "truth" of why he's a pretender, but there's so much about him that makes him the perfect character for me. Husbando wise, he's got it all, nice pretty boi and edgy hot dude, also 2 wildly different aesthetics and personalities, phenomenal voice acting for all forms. Design wise it's very consistent and the artist did a great job nailing the old medieval-esque clothing. Although I'm not a fan of bugs in real life myself but I still love how it's integrated in every aspect of his design and the species involved for each ascension fits very well. The fact that he's a Fairy, since childhood I've always been super obsessed with stories involving fairies (tho they're usually pixies or tinkerbell type of fairies, and yes i loved everything related to tinkerbell too) even read the rainbow fairies books, eventually as i grew up i discovered the mythical origins which is Fae or Faefolk etc and the fact that Oberon is one of the most welknown Fairy type figure is perfect for me. As for gamewise, Animations did not disappoint, gameplay is versatile (ik he's a support but I will use him as my one man army), as for LB6 stuff I'll find out next year but I know it won't disappoint from what little I know of him. I'll stop here, either way I'm super hyped for his release going for NP5+ max everything including appends etc
My main is in JP. I grailed Voyager to level 116 now, waiting to 120 him in the coming bond points. Currently NP4 and 2K fou'ed Ever since his debut in Requiem, i have always loved him and seeing him in Voyager is a dream come true. Lvl 100 Savior of France: when I first watching Fate/Stay Night (UBW route, to be more especific) I saw him swinging his sword against Saber and loved the Character and his NP, so I decided to study a bit more about him. Lvl 100 Enkidu: when I watched the Babylonia anime and had begun playing FGO, I used a FP Support and loved his habilities and the NP... both in anime and in story are amazing. Lvl 92 Fujino: Purple Hair, Sadistic personality, KnK OST... and more. Lvl 92: Jalter Summer: my First Event servant and the First Event i've finished. Lvl 92 Kama: Sakura face and love, so much love involved
Currently on NA: Kama is 101/102, shes my favorite servant so far out of the nasuverse I love how she hits all my favorite personality traits, tsundere yandere kuudere, but none of them are over pronounced and make her seem clichéd or bland she very much feels like a real person to me, and whenever we get Male Kama out of npc hell I will be whaling for him just like summer Kama because my love transcends merely romantic to just a genuine affection. Scathath currently only lv92 but she's the reason I got into FGO, I had recently at the time met some very good friends who reunited me with Fate I did not and never will like Deen/Stay Night it was fucking awful, but UBW heavens feel apocrypha, extella and FGO have made me a lifetime fan of this franchise and its all thanks to shishou, a busty gorgeous red head who's my perfect woman, strong, strong minded with a great personality but still got a bit of that dommy mommy feel to her. Nagatora, lv100 (please give me coins I NEEEEED her at lv120) she was a surprise grail for me, her event was the first event I was so enthralled by simply because of her I was waiting by my phone watching the clock each night as the next part unlocked, as a fellow sociopath I relate to her greatly and if she was real I'm sure we'd be the best of friends drinking til the whee hours of the morning laughing at the idiots know as human kind. Summer Kagetora when lasagna? Melt: 92/100, melts another surprise grail for me, I was pulling for passionlip and she was avoiding me but melt popped in and said hey, I knew their lore but I was avoiding it while the CCC fan translation was finishing but then I did the event in FGO with her... and damn man my heart still hurts, I'm not into flat chests but damn am I into fantastic personalities and she aces that exam with only a handful of characters to rival her imo, and she's definitely stolened a piece of my heart. Lastly YuYu, or Yang Guifei, I only just pulled her tonight, sadly I broke my spine a little over a year ago and during recovery I had to skip her initial release and well I was floored by her coming home immediately without hesitation 60quartz and a dream and the adorable YuYu came running into my arms and shes my next guranteed 100 grail maybe even further I love everything about her and I can see why a whole dynasty fell cuz that bashful smile would make me topple a country too. On JP: Arc lv100, it's Arcuied, I prefer her more calm cool side but the ganky girl hyperactive type is hot too, and we've waited so long for her I knew the moment I pulled her she was going to 100 and beyond. Xufu lv80: I love Yu senpai, both versions of her on NA have grails til 90 so of course I was gonna grail our adorable little Xu Fu who's best daughter and noone can change my mind she'll be a 100 on NA for sure. And lastly Valk Summer, Blondie of course since she was my first welfare on JP I felt it was only right to grail her to 100
I get what you mean on all of these. My grail target was and always will be Arthur and I haven't been able to grail anyone else to 100 save, Hans, Bedi, and Mandricardo. In part cause I love them but also to bring them up to the level I think they should be at. A close second though to grail is Kama for all the reasons you listed and more I really enjoyed Kama in Ooku. Same with Kagetora, though I have to ask are you actually sociopathic? If so I find that interesting cause part of the reason I liked Kagetora so much was how atypical her personality is to the average person. But for you it's more relatable so you may understand her a lot more than I could.
Lvl 102 Berserker Lancelot I first got attracted to him because it's a knight with a gun for a noble phantasm, plain and simple. I got first (and still only) copy during the free 4 star ticket. That was 3 years ago, before the animation update, before skadi. Those updates were just icing on the cake to me. Then I started to research his backstory and damn, I relate to him even more. I have survival's guilt for the longest time and I just can't help but feel for him. What was just grunts and shouts and ARRRTHUUURRRRR now has a deeper feeling. I can feel the anger and sadness that he has in his distorted voice, I just- damn. I know his kit is, let's be honest, outdated nowadays but on normal quests, I always bring him with me, even bosses. Trying to make him work with Skadi, Reines, BB summer, Mozart, etc. I just love that guy. Aside from Gogh next week, I don't really want any other servants on the line. Maybe Melusine because obligatory "I want to get all the Lancelots" but besides her, Gogh and Musashi (which she didn't come and never will be at this point), I'm not too interested in other servants. So I mainly save my quarts for a spook Berserker Lancelot banner and spend my tickets on story gacha trying to fish for more of his copies.
Really fun video idea! I kinda hope it becomes a trend among FGO youtubers, I love seeing people talking about the characters they love. For my NA account, going by the order I grailed them: Lvl. 90 Arash: I just love everything about this man. From his legend, to his role in Camelot, to his Interlude, to his Valentine's scene. Fanart might have influenced me in my choice as well lmao. Lvl. 90 Mandricardo: BEST FRIENDO. Finished Atlantis and he immediately became one of my favorites. First servant I got to 2k Fous and I plan to get him to lvl. 120. Lvl. 90 Lakshmi Bai: She was kinda the reason I started playing FGO in the first place. Saw a figure of her and thought her design was really cool so when I found out she's from the Fate series and only appeared in the mobile game so far I wanted to try it. Loved her in the LB4 as well. Lvl. 90 Charlotte Corday: LB5. That's it. Really cute as well, just look at her Valentine's scene! Lvl. 90 Kijyo Koyo: Doesn't have as much of a lore reason as the others (next Requiem chapter when?) just... Pretty oni dinosaur lady. Still kinda sad I only got her to NP4 during Requiem banner and she's had no other banner ever since. Not even on JP ;-; Lvl. 90 Nagao Kagetora: Favorite GudaGuda character and the first welfare I got. Only got her to NP1 during the first run of the event and then grailed her when the rerun happened. Carried me through a lot of the early chapters since I'm pretty sure she was the first character I got to max lvl. Lvl. 90 EMIYA: Should have grailed OG Archer earlier but was thinking "do I really need two Lvl. 90 Archers right now?" then went fuck it and grailed him anyways. If Lakshmi is the reason I started playing FGO, Emiya is the reason I started liking the Fate series in general. He was my tutorial pull and also carried me thorugh a lot of early game conent. In fact I somehow managed to beat the entirety of GudaGuda 4 with a really underleveled Emiya and Kagetora lol.
Lvl100 Kagetora: I started playing FGO about 1 month before Gudaguda 4 arrived on NA and I didn't had much gold servants to work with and that was when Kagetora arrived, she was clutch in so many battles and now that I have Castoria she's even more insane, I mainly grailed her cause she's my favorite Saber face and I love her crazy personality, some can call it crazy but I think it's hot asf and it fits her character so I end up falling in love with her. Lvl100 Mordred: before playing FGO I watched Apoc about 4 months ago and I immediately liked her personality, I'm biased towards tomboys and Mordred is of no exception, her character, personality, design and her lore, I love them all so when she was on rate up for the Camelot banner I was already willing to spend everything for her but she came to me on a rainbow spin with just 1 ticket so I already knew that I was gonna grail her to 100 Lvl100 Da Vinci(Rider): what can I say, none of the stuff that chaldea has achieved wouldn't have been possible without her help, she's a fun character and she's super cute and adorable, I wasn't planning to grail her but I gave it some thought and said why not grail her? so I end up grailing her as well. Level 100 Castoria: without getting into spoilers of LB6, this is by far my favorite Artoria of them all and no other ones comes close to how amazing she is imo, she has the best personality of all the Artorias and after reading through LB6 I already knew that when I got her on NA she was going to get grailed instantly.
grailing your Yagyu is SO incredibly based imo On my side here are the reasons I grailed my favs! Lvl 90 Bedivere - Camelot wasn't a great chapter to me imo, but Bedivere's story absolutely got to me Lvl 90 Inshun - I really liked his playstyle and design! I don't use him much anymore but I don't regret grailing him Lvl 90 Blackbeard - I know its common to hate on his fans, but I really liked the concept of his character! Subverting his scare tactics and updating it to the modern age, it absolutely made sense that he would be an otaku Lvl 100 Ashwathhama - When I started playing FGO on NA, JP was going through LB4 and Ash was one of the first servants I saw as a result. I really loved his aesthetic and the character from the start, plus I'm Indian so it felt like I had to absolutely grail him, he absolutely shreds through any saber enemy these days Lvl 100 Kama - Similar reasons to Ash! Ooku just made me love her even more! She's even NP2 now! Lvl 100 Kiara - She was my very first SSR and helped me a lot in early game, so I grailed her to thank her for showing up Lvl 100 Hokusai (both ver) - I really connected with Hokusai as an aspiring artist, and her SSR version came to me thrice in less than two total multis, so I absolutely fell in love with her for that! Not to mention her animations are genuinely gorgeous Lvl 100 Helena - I didn't know of her character and her involvement with Holmes until late into the game, but now I really really love her. I hope to get and grail her Archer form as well Lvl 102 Holmes (will go to 120) - the main reason why I got into Fate in the first place. Something about his design was so striking to me and the more I got into the story I realised how interesting his character was. Still have so much love for the character and I'm so glad I finally got him after two years of failure
I'll only talk about my biggest grail so, here you go. Consort Yu ( Yu mei ren, paisen, gucchan, gubijin) ** LB3 Spoilers** First of all I really like her Crypter design , even before knowing her real identity. Most people like her because of her overly-sexualized design ( 2nd and 3rd ascensions, The new 5 star CE and such) But I never really be fond of her because of her sexy looks. When I read her story, and her past, I sympathize with her. Lots of people hated her because she's a bitch and always nagging/ complaining ( hence the NP name "Eternal Lament" ) But I found that justified. She cannot die and have to watch all her loved ones/ closest friends die one by one to the point that she is left alone. And then she was hunted by humans for centuries because they marked her as a "vampire" ( which she really isnt), to the point that her personality changes from a cheerful person to a tired,lonely, regretful woman. She wants to end her life but she refuses because she wants to be the one who carries her husband story along over the history so no one would tarnish/ remake it. So I'll make sure she will never feel like she's alone in the world again ; Already 120 NP5 2k fou'd her , and has her husband summoned to be with her, and with her closest retainer Lan Ling. Hope y'all reading this be interested in her story more and not just straight up misunderstood her like lots of people, cheers! - Cara P.S. My grailed servants have for the most part been ones that I either loved their design, their backstory or both. The ones that come to mind are Jeanne, Baobhan Sith, Melusine and Mandricardo . I actually started FGO when random youtube videos popped up showing Jeanne as a playable character, when I finally got her I enjoyed learning more about her from her interludes and how regardless of how badly the people treated her in life and branded her a witch she never once regretted her decisions and remained resolute. Baobhan Sith and Melusine are in the same boat, I have a thing for tragic characters. Both devoted their lives to the one they loved and while the way it ended was depressing they had a chance to start again once they were summoned to chaldea. As for Mandricardo: I already liked his gameplay and design, but reading through Atlantis made him best boy in my eyes and I can relate to him in someways. While he doesn't fight for glory or fame he fights for his friends and i think that has more weight, he is currently a lv 120 project in JP.

Thank you so much for this video! Yes, I would love to hear about your JP grails too. As for me? Well, it's a mix between power and love. I won't grail someone I love if that grail won't make me more likely to use them in battle. For example: my first FGO love was Tamamo Caster and grails don't really do anything for her, so I didn't grail her. Here's my grails in order of grailing: St. George 90: because he's a catholic saint and I wanted a ST Arts Rider for Rashoman raids so I could use Tamamo more. This was a massive mistake. Kintoki Rider came out the next month, and George's NP scaling is garbage. This was before I knew about the Wikis and r/GrandOrder. Heracles 90: also a mistake. I never use him. I grailed him when I got his Bond CE, but at NP1 those 10 levels don't really do anything for him. I had already moved past the point of needing an anchor. Kintoki Rider 90: pure power. I've never regretted this one. Chloe 90: power and love. She's still my best ST Archer, and I could use her with Tamamo too. Chloe is such a sassy little shit and I love her (when the author isn't being creepy). Arash and Spartacus 70: power. They are just too useful, and 1 grail for 10 levels is too good of a deal for me to pass up. Welfare BB 90: power and love. She's a ST Arts (see the pattern) Mooncancer with a ton of utility. Plus, I love Sakura. NP5 Parvati 100: power and love. I love Sakura. Plus, she's an amazing Quick looper. I ended up rolling for Skadi partially to let me use Parvati and Kama more. Jalter Zerker 90: power and love. She's still my best ST Berserker. I love Jalter's character arc in FGO. While I hate Tsunderes, I really like Jalter. NP3 Kama 100: Power and LOVE. Sakura Matou is my favorite Fate character period. I empathize with her way too much for comfort (unending pain and despair). Kama is the Sakura-face in FGO who feels most like Sakura to me. Plus, Kama is OP. Chen Gong 120: Pure, overwhelming power! Finotaisen convinced me to grail him. I haven't regretted it yet. I looped him with double Nero Bride for a year before Castoria came out. Now with Castoria, I can even loop 1/1/X nodes with him. I was planning on him becoming my regular Arts looper until this last one happened. NP3 Space Ishtar 108: Power and love. I only just grailed her during Scatfest to avoid burning Thousands of 4* Embers using my excess grails. I didn't have enough Chen Gong coins at the time. Spishtar was practically useless to me before Castoria came out. Now I use her everywhere I can. Plus, she'll be amazing for Buster looping next year. I didn't even want her when she came out. I used all of my SQ trying to get NP1 Calamity Jane and failed. I did somehow get NP3 Spishtar though. She's grown on me since then. I love her Nature vs. Nurture backstory. I now think she's the best version of Rin (as I hate Tsunderes). For the future? Definitely grailing Summer Kama at least to 100. I might grail Van Gogh too. No one else interests me grail-wise. Who knows though? The Koyanskayas might have if they were actually Tamamo. But alas, Tamamo get shafted as always.
Cool vid, Myst! Always love hearing reasons for grailing, and hearing about your interest in the shinsengumi was definitely fun! Btw, if you want an idea for a video, you could probably do one about recurring characters for Events (like Emiya or Robin), and if they might benefit from grailing. As for who I grailed and my reasons for doing so: 120 *Jalter* - I already liked Jeanne, but Jalter pushed it over the edge. I like to think the Dragon Witch of Orleans has been freed from her cage and brings hellfire to all the Lost Belts that oppose us. Funny story; when we got the feature to grail past 100, I noticed I was the only person on my friend list to start. Everyone was probably waiting for the new Embers, but by the time I got to 106, it must've broke the resolve of some people, because they started as well lol 100 *Raikou* - Was a big fan of Raita previously, so having an OP AoE Buster at the time was the best choice. Nowadays I still have a Scope on her. Still useful too. (Lancerkou gets 90 if I np2) 90 - *Berserkalot* - Even though I had him at np3, I still took him to 90 for DSS. Absolutely loving it. 90 *Ridertoki* - For a long time, I had no good ST Rider options. Kintoki proved himself time and time again, so it was time to raise him properly among his SSR peers. 100 *Kama* - Admittedly, I'm a Rin > Sakura guy, but when Kama dropped she. ticked. so. so. SO. many. boxes. Turns out, I love collecting Beasts. I'll 120 her if I manage to np5 her. 100 *Gilgamesh* - I was a big fan of Gilgamesh back in the original FSN. Yes, even DeenFSN. Not sure why. I guess while everyone hated him for being a smug asshole, I liked him as a confident self-absorbed guy, who probably had reason to be up his own ass. (And turned out he did lol) 80 *Chen Gong* - Mostly gameplay. Very useful. 80 *Hans Christian Andersen* - He fell off my party for a while after I Bond 10'd him, but I recently picked him up again for a party to deal with challenge quests. Dude is so good. No regrets. He's definitely the sixth of the Tirelessly Support Casters.
The only FGO servant I grailed so far is Heracles. He was already one of my favorite characters in Fate/stay night and he carried me so hard in the past through the main story that he absolutely deserved it! The Rin and Sakura faces + Jalter are probably the next characters I will grail!
FGO is actually my first and only expedience wither the fate series(and i've been playing for just under 2 years at this point on NA), So most of my picks are more so based on either in game events, singularities, or just the thematic design of the characters (TL;DR Kiara to lvl 100, Melt to lvl 100, Protea to lvl 118, Passionlip to lvl 90, Jalter to lvl 110, Summer Jalter to lvl 90, and Summer Houkusai to lvl 90~) Since i started in January, one of the first banners i rolled on was the New years guaranteed 5 star banner and, by chance, i rolled Kiara; I used her all through out my climb up through the singularities and loved the Nun and tentacle theming, despite how evil she is she is where my love of Alter-egos started so I knew i had to give her the lvl 100 grail treatment... The reason I was rushing as well was that in a few months after I began there was apparently an event with a cute purple haired girl as the welfare servant, I ground out all of the singularities and beat Goteia in time to get the event unlocked... and despite my original want to just get one cute purple haired servant i ended up with 4 of them~ As soon as i saw the Banner for Passion lip i was all in, but despite my goal i ended up with 2 copies of Melt, and boy was that a blessing in disguise, as I progressed the event i became more and more interested in Melt, I am an absolute sucker for a good Tsundere, and Melt is a great one, stylish, confident, and despite what she tries to make you think, a heart of gold She was an easy pick for lvl 100 and i've already got her Bond high enough to go for 120 once i have the grails to do it Back to Passionlip, I still absolutely love her design but she dodged me on the banner so incredibly hard I managed to get only a single copy of her after over 1000+ Quartz, She fell slightly by the way-side but I still made sure to atleast semi grail her up to level 90 The biggest (in a literal sense) surprise for me in the Banner more than the event was Protea, I LOVE giantess, and as soon as i saw her I knew i had to roll for her, not only did she have a super cute personality but also the 2nd highest attack stat ( at the time) in the game, I'm a Buster, big number dmg lover as well, and I kept Protea on my team continuously ever since i pulled her, only finding more and more out about her and wanting to pamper her all the more, She is currently level 118, Bond 13, and Alll Maxed on gold Fous, and as soon as she hits Bond 14 I'll have enough of her coins to instantly get her to level 120, She deserves only the biggest and best after all~ A bit of a rewind back to my nearly 2 month grind of daily 7-Singularity sprint to make it to the CCC event, The one character I had seen before starting FGO that i was actually interested in was Jeanne D'arc, I've always been really interested in her even outside of the Fate series so i was immediately drawn to her in Orleans.... and then... they introduced her Alter, possibly the most evil version of her.... I was torn, but I kept both of them in mind cut to Shinjuku when we get to see her re summoned and damn, i fell immediately, possibly the mother of all Tsundere, I rolled on every one of her Banners more than I'd like to count until I finally pulled her earlier this year, and She is already Bond 10, Level 110, heading up to 120 as soon as more grails are available she's also my second gold Fou candidate sitting around +1800 in each Speaking of Jalter, When the Summer manga event came out I was super excited, and the event didn't disappoint on giving me more cute Jalter, also really making her more laid back but still just as Tsun, I grailed her to level 90 before the event even ended, she's on my short list of servants in consideration for level 100 as she is just a great servant and I always use her~ And lastly as an Artist and lover of Houkusai, I leveled her summer saber form to level 90 to match her foreigner version~

Jalter summer: she was one of my first wellfare servants and she helped me a lot with her berserker class, I also really adore Jalter herself, her history, development over the years and moments in events Elizabeth: she was my first sr in the whole game and she has been helping me for many years, also she is very funny in halloween events Tomoe gozen: Similar to Eli was my second sr, a samurai woman who is part Oni is such a bizarre concept but at the same time interesting that I end up loving it, I love her ascensions and her VA (every time I hear her NP I can't help it laugh) also her story makes me very moving (it still hurts not having gotten his summer version) Hercules: I love his story with Illya in FSN, he has been helping me since I started in this game as he was one of my first servants, thanks to him I have defeated many complicated bosses from the beginning, so I appreciate him BB: Every time she appears in an event is so funny and interesting, her NP animation is one of my favorites because of how random it is, and that she has a class dedicated to her seems like a very good idea and I love her personality ( I like bad girls) Gorgon: I love mean girls, I love giant girls, I love medusa, I love her interludes, I love her fan art, I have nothing more to say Passionlip: Her whole existence makes me a little sad, I don't know why, that she is the most forgotten by the fans, her dialogues, that she is the only sr among her sisters, etc. So I decided to give her all the love I could Jason: her participation in Atlantis was sublime and she is another Hercules fanboy, I don't need more Mandricardo: The one who undoubtedly deserves the position of best friend of the protagonist, that he himself is aware that he is not a very important character and that is why I have quite little self-esteem seems to me the best thing they could do, and his sacrifice in Atlantis It is spectacular Let's see if one day I decide to grail one of my ssr
Lv 100 Yagyu: I liked him in Shimousa and his NP and animations are simple but cool. Lv 100 Enkidu: My first SSR. Carried me through a lot of content and solos very well. Best Clay. Lv 100 Fujino: I liked her in Kara no Kyoukai and liked her even more in Summer 5. Hits like truck especially with Merlin. Lv 100 Kiara: Because Ara-ara. And with Castoria she makes farming Cavalry Units a breeze. Lv 100 Rider Kintoki: One of the best free SRs to exist and my very first welfare. Carried me through a lot of content in the game as well. Lv 90 Caster Shuten: I like Raita's art and since I couldn't get her Assasin version, I went with her. My first decent ST Caster as well. Lv 90 Nobunaga Berserker: Who doesn't like Nobu? Rock n' Roll! She reminds me of Shana because of the red hair. Lv 80 Arash: For farming purposes. Most likely to be my first Bond 15. Sorry, Arash. You're still cool though. Lv 80 Spartacus: For Farming purposes. Liberate the enemies and bring me the mats!

My grailed servants start with Amakusa as he's the servant I started the game for this year and he has been one of the servants that has carried me throughout story, 2nd wud be Bedivere cuz loved his character soo much from Camelot (I have yet to np5 him tho..) And last wud be Okitan and she's my #1 waifu on fgo as well, I fell in love with her when I saw her epic, badass and funny np animations and her character design is sooo lit She's the servant that I saved soo much f2p sqs for....600 lol and from Solomon to Olympus she has helped me out a ton with my battles against Cavalry foes
I grailed Saito to Lv 100 because I really like his character. carefree but in battle really can fuck you up personality. his design is literally a suit and katanas and I like the simplicity (dashing suit). Asvatthaman is grailed to Lv 90 because I like his hot wheelies and good buster crits. What got me more affectionate for his character is definitely his valentine CE, and his bond lines. He's a real homie
I've got a decent amount of grailed 100 servants and I'll start with the more important ones to me. I first started noticing FGO characters from pixiv and was fascinated from the Rin lookalikes in Ishtar and Ereshkigal as well as other characters like Stheno and Euryale. These 4 characters motivated me to try out FGO since I really like twintailed characters and I really liked Rin even though I wasn't a big Fate fan at the time and didn't even watch UBW as the only Fate related thing I watched was Fate/Zero. So when I started playing FGO I was able to get Stheno and Euryale from the start, Euryale came from my tutorial summon and I got Stheno from a 5* ticket which they were giving out at the time. (don't regret it) and I've got both of them grailed to 90. So Ishtar wasn't really out yet when I started playing so I was saving a bit for her but it wasn't much because I was spending quartz carelessly as a new player and I failed to get her on her first rate up. Luckily she had another rate up in May 2019 and I was able to get her despite not having that many quartz and she was my very first SSR I ever had after playing for like a year. Later that year I saved so much for Ereshkigal and was able to get her too with no problems. Love both Ishtar and Ereshkigal equally and have them grailed to 100 and even fou'd to 2000. Now Space Ishtar is definitely my favorite servant in the game, I love her for the same reasons as Ishtar and Eresh but what's best about her is that she is 3 Rin faces in 1 servant so she's also grailed to 100 and fou'd to 2000, she's the only one I also tried to NP2 and did so successfully. Now some other servants I love that I grailed. Bradamante and Sei Shonagon I have grailed to 100 because they are both really cute and I love twintails. I don't really mind that I already have SSR AOE Archer/Lancers grailed, they just deserve them too. Last 2 servants I'll mention that I've got grailed to 100 are Musashi and Caster Illya. I really love both of them as characters and they were such a struggle to get for me. When I tried for Musashi I kept getting spooked by 4* sabers and I tried for 3 weeks on her last rate up with free quartz and I was finally able to get her on the last week and was so happy. Illya had a surprise rate up recently and I was able to get her was so happy about that too since I tried for her on Miyu's first rate up but failed. She is just one of the cutest Fate characters and I grailed her immediately and fou'd her to 2000 too since I was saving them for so long with not knowing who to use them on. I started watching Fate/Kaleid out of celebration since I was listening to the first OP while summoning as a catalyst and it's a cute anime. So yeah those are my favorite servants, I'll say some honorable mentions too. Helena 90 because I use her a lot, she's cute and I got her past Bond 10. Kiyohime 80 because she was my only berserker I used for the longest time and took a long time to get a SR zerk. Rider Ishtar 100 because Ishtar and Archer Illya because Illya.
Lv 100 (Working on 120) Valkyrie: Main reason is because my favourite RPG when I was a kid was Valkyrie profile and while the 3 sisters are very different from the ones in that game I still love and appreciate them in the same way. Level 100 Paris: Simple answer he looks just so comfy with all dem sheep, and honestly if they were gonna turn anybody into a Shota I am glad they did Paris. Level 100 Tomoe Gozen: I love the way she looks, and the idea of an archer with fire arrows is just awesome. Level 100 BB: Fate extra CCC had me bawling my eyes out for her, she really makes the Sakura faces the superior ones Level 70 Hans: Best support and most gigachad character in fate but need more QP to grail him further.
Alright then here's my Grailed and lesser grailed servants. -Lvl.90 Nagao Kagetora: she was my absolute reason to download and finally getting into FGO. Mainly because I really love the history of the Warring States Era and knowing Kenshin is in the game as a welfare sold me instantly. And also her maniacal laughter got me catching feelings. -Lvl.80 Euryale: She absolutely carried me in my earlier days especially in GilFest and Camelot (R.I.P Gawain) so I decided to reward her divine deeds with a golden border on her portrait. -Lvl.80 Bedivere: I gave him a golden border for the simple fact of knowing that all this time during Camelot what he's carrying as his arm was NOT in fact Airgetlám, plus knowing he was still *living* and not a servant made me like him a lot. Not as renown as the other members of the Round Table, but definitely the one with the kindest heart. -Lvl.100 Da Vinci (Rider): She's my first ever SSR and the one I'm most confused as why is there a loli version of her. That was during before I finished part 1 so I kept her at 80/90 right up just before the Lostbelt Prologue. After going through it, I felt devastated. Then I decided to grail because I finally know why she exists. And she's also absolutely precious and her smile is just an absolute sunshine.
lv 100 martha(2k fou), she was my first SR outside the tutorial pool and i fell for her at first sight, and saori is just my favorite VA of all time, and i love this type of female character who fights with their fists, like tifa or luvia herself who uses wrestling moves(mine is lv 90) lv 100 barghest, i love muscular women and she is just cute AF lv 100 zenobia, again, i love muscular women and she has great assets lv 100 demon king(2k fou), i love everything about her, from the voice to the animations, and her np line........... she was since her release my most desired SSR, and she looks tall, i love tall women also lv 100 Altera, i just love her since i played extella lv 100 summer kiara(2k fou), i like both kiaras but i never got the alter ego form, and her VA is awesome i have a bunch of grailed to 90 characters but my list will get gigantic if i mention all
Great video Myst! Was looking forward to this. Regarding Okita, I initially didn't think much of her. A cool Artoria clone samurai, but thanks to multiple GUDAGUDAs, namely GUDA5(enter: Saito Hajime) now I think she's great! And her interlude got adapted into a one shot manga so I find her to be such a great character, if I had more copies, she'd definitely be a grail candidate. GUDA5 struck and I'll be first to admit that I wanted Hajime because he was super attractive to me. The simplicity of a suit and swords is just really appealing(that appeal is still apparent with my other grailed Servants) But then I read more into him and his real life counterpart. His #1 motto to live is something I personally align with. Being both flexible externally and true to his own beliefs internally is really inspiring. And despite watching those close to him be killed or died, Hajime held strong and weathered that storm called life all the way to the end. He'll be 100 soon (I just need one last copy). I'm curious why he isn't one of your grailed units. Enkidu, Ashvattama, Dantes and Kotaro are all Lvl100 too.
First grailed Space Ishtar because she was my first ssr. Other level 100 servants are Super Orion and ROMA. My goal is to get every grand servant and level them to 100, except for the self-proclaimed grand caster candidates.
My three Level 100s are Elizabeth, Beni, and Maou Nobunaga, who are my top three favorite characters across all of Fate. - I already love regular Nobunaga (both Archer and Berserker are leveled to 90), but Maou is just supremely badass and honestly the dream wife. Tall, redhead, confident, metal-as-hell NP with the giant skeleton, with still those Gudaguda quirks that make her just a tinge comedic amidst so much badassery. - Beni-Enma is number #1 FGO daughter. The moment she was revealed in JP, with art by Takehito Harada (character artist for Disgaea and The Witch and Hundred Knight, the latter being one of my favorite games ever) and VA'd by Misaki Kuno (voice actress for other supreme adorable characters like Kate from Zvezda Plot and Kurumi from LycoReco), I knew she was an instant want. She's a redhead, she's linked to a lot of other characters I like such as Osakibehime and Kiyohime, she likes and makes good food, and the story from her event almost made me cry. - Elizabeth is Fate to me. I had seen Zero and UBW and I liked them fine, but then I played Extella, where Liz plays an antagonistic role for basically the whole game. She was always bullied, made fun of, underestimated, given so much bad luck - yet she remains feisty, optimistic, upbeat, and mischievous despite all that. It resonated with me during a time where I was with some not-so-great friends and felt similarly down and ridiculed like Liz. I connected so much with Liz and she's seriously one of my favorite fictional characters ever. She's a goofy dragon/vampire idol with multiple forms and outfits, she's intrinsically linked with Halloween which is my favorite holiday, Rumi Okubo's performance is always fantastic, she's linked to Carmilla who's ANOTHER one of my top favorites from FGO, I have so much merch of her from statues to artwork to pins and chains; she's up to Bond 12 as of writing this and the only reason I haven't 120'd her yet is because I'm not sure I have enough coins (and I need EXP for my hopeful fourth inductee to the lvl 100 club, Van Gogh, later this month lol) I may not be Plushie but I do love me my Elizabeth
My grails on NA are Saber, Okita, MHX, both Ryougi Shiki versions, Fujino, Kagetora, Medusa and Gorgon MHX, I grailed on the account of her being my first ever SSR on my current account and I found her insanely adorable. Saber was as a result of me getting into Fate/stay night and falling in love with her character. I can still comfortably say that Saber is my favorite Fate character in general with Shirou being a close second. Okita was quite an impulsive grail choice, but I do not regret it as I really enjoy Okita's character and if we were to count my lost account, she was my first SSR in this game in general. Ryougi Shiki is my favorite fictional character of all time and a character I heavily relate to on multiple aspects. I plan to even NP5 and 120 Void Shiki/Saber Shiki at some point down the road, she is currently NP3 so it isn't too far away. Kagetora was also quite impulsive but I really enjoy her character so no regrets there. Medusa and Gorgon I'll admit were mostly due to appearence but I really do think Rider's wish to become shorter is relatable as I am a tall woman myself and often wish I was a lot shorter than I am, plus I also think a more monstrous Medusa is a really cool design in general. Fujino I'll admit, is almost exclusively cause of waifu reasons in all honesty, she is pretty and I really enjoy her character in Kara no Kyoukai (which you all should watch if you haven't, or read if you know Japanese) My future targets are Izo and three servants not out yet in Tai Gong Wang, Arcueid and Yamanami Keisuke and perhaps even Muramasa.
Lvl. 100 Lu Bu - Favorite out of the 3 Romance story + Chinese pride. Lvl. 100 Lobo - Love wolves & best animal servant to date. Lvl. 100 Red Hare - Animal love. Lu Bu's mount + animation and aesthetics were badass to the max. Lvl. 100 Nezha - Nationalism + Waifu reasons. Journey To The West is also one of my all time favorite series. Patiently awaiting Wukong (genderbent or not) Lvl. 100 Kiara - Waifu reason. Love the gaudiness from her. Matches my libido. Lvl. 100 Scheherazade - Waifu reason. Aesthetics + personality (the "more suited for your bedchamber" line sealed the deal). Farming is just a bonus. Lvl. 100 Raikou (Zerk) - Waifu reason. My first SSR and carried me throughout the entirety of the game. Aesthetics were badass + lore was great. Lvl. 90 EMIYA - The G.O.A.T. archer in the entirety of the Fate verses. Maxed NP, skills, & append skills. Probably won't make it to Lvl. 100 due to waifu prioritization. Lvl. 90 Tomoe (Archer) - Waifu reason. Aesthetics are great (side boob on Ascension 3 sealed the deal) + animations & lore. Great ST unit as well. Lvl. 90 Qin Liangyu - Waifu reason. She is one of the top waifus, IMO. Aesthetics are wonderful. Character itself is very fun to play with. Also, nationalism. Lvl. 90 Heracles - Couldn't stand DW's mistake of making such a top tier servant a mere SR, so I rectified their mistake. Mine also has its Bond CE. No Lvl. 120s yet. Awaiting Barghest & Zenobia. 120 jack, my favorite servant from apocrypha and all time. Also my first 120 servant I went for 120 melusine. Waifu reason and character designed checked off all my favorite designs in servant like white hair and some other features 100 summer kama. Really wanted normal kama and didn't have her at the time so when I got summer decided to grail her in her place. 100 Penthesila. Another character I liked a lot in design and also learned to really like a lot just from gin moku old comics which featured her a lot. 100 Original and Summer Tomoe. Tomoe was my first servant I fell in love with that wasn't from the fate anime and the reason I wanted to play the game was to get her. Love her design and really liked all the oni servants and I pretty much grailed any summer servant if I grailed their original. 100 Original and Summer Erice. Thought her original was really cute and didn't know much of requiem so her event was what got me interested into it and in the end made me really like her. Also has one of the funniest valentines chocolate scene. 100 Original and Summer Ibuki. Omega thicc and I love my onis 100 Dioscuri. Really liked their designs and the concept of Pollux being the Saber and Castor being an Avenger. I was also of the minority who actually like Castor even with him being an ass and Polux is a cutie. Level 100 Summer Melt. The only servant I have the least attachment to as I grailed her because my friends in discord chose that grial for me tldr. I grailed 5 loli servants so I'm a lolicon I guess /s

And since i kinda come and go when playing fgo, i didnt have king hassan. There are also times that i lost my account and didnt know about recov I lost few of my accounts. I got into Fate with Fate/Zero many years before FGO came out, but I loved Zerkalot’s design and battle scenes. When he started to carry me in FGO, I grailed him to 90, and I’ve committed to get him to 100 once I have the 5th copy. Both Kamas, both Koyanskayas, Jacques, and Hokusai are grailed/will be grailed to 100 for waifu purposes (I love EVIL and tentacles)
I wouldn't be surprised if majority got into fate thanks to F/Zero. Nasu fans hate Urobutcher, but he's one of my favorite writer, and Fate/Zero is my easy top 3 anime.
Mandricardo(104) looked cool. Then he became our friend, then he died heroically but tragically. It was love (why doesn’t he have any good merch) Bedivere(100) was just cool, and while I’m less attached once I realised he would always put artoria first, I do still love him. His story is amazing in Camalot. Merlin and Castoria (94) I wanted friendpoints Jeanne,Jalter, and Raikou (92) my trifecta of strength, these ladies were my core team for a very long time. BB (90) I wanted that single target moon cancer and 90 fitted in with Melt and Jalter Izo, Robin, Cu lancer and caster, I liked the characters a lot, and future proofing for next year
Okita was the first SSR I drew, during the first Gudaguda event year 1. In NA, our first GSSR banner happened during thanksgiving instead of xmas and so, unlike JP, the first NA GSSR overlapped Gudaguda and included Okita in it, and so I didn't pull for her on purpose, but she was a lucky catch that became my offensive powerhouse early in the game. It became tradition, then, to throw for a copy of her every Gudaguda, and as of Gudaguda 5 a month ago I''m now the proud owner of an NP5 grailed 100 Okita. Scathach came out shortly thereafter, and I loved and still love her design. She is the second servant I grailed, and also got to NP5. As a big Jeanne D'Arc fan, JAlter and JArcher are also grailed to 100, and also both NP5. Those four currently complete my grail collection, I like to keep some set aside for a rainy day. When buster meta comes back, I may grail my NP5 OG Saber.
for me i have a similar experience like you had with okita, i discovered FGO because i saw a Tomoe Gozen Fanart and i loved her design at first sight, so one day i manage to buy a decent smartphone i did remember that fanart, so i decided to install fgo and see how its the game. After a couple of months, Tomoe got a rate up at the start of this year, and i rolled all i have for her, got her np2 and i didnt regret anything, i loved her and i love her even more now after shimousa and seeing her summer version on the summer event
Lvl 100 Circe: Her tale was actually the one that introduced me to mythology, and she was one of the first mythological figures I checked if they were in Fate. Lvl 100 Nyalter: She carried me through most of part 1, I like her design more than the originals and she is a good berserker. Also the cat girl thing maybe affected my choice a little. Lvl 100 Maou Nobu: Normally I dont really like genderbent characters, but she is just so cool and hot that she broke my bias against them. Lvl 98 Osakabehime: She was my first 5 star in the game, she carried me through some hard rider fights and I love the silly and flustered personality. Also her valentine is so underrated. Lvl 100 Kiyohime: she was one of the characters that convinced me to play the game, she was my main farmer at the start, I kinda like the yandere thing in some cases and shes a berserker. Next I’ll propably grail Astraea because she is the closest thing to a finnish servant that we currently have + I just really like the drills.
The first servant I grailed and like his story in the gameplay and overall personality is Fergus. After this I was kinda lost what to do with grails so I decided to do a one star, two star four star and Five star. I decided to go with, like Fergus, the beefiest guy I had in each class. This led to Asterios, Sanson, Napoleon(who I also really like personality wise) and Beowulf. I then decided to try for each class, and am currently working on the Chinese emperor guy.
The sole reason why I grailed Okita was simply because I was fond of the Shinsengumi. There is this goal of mine that I would complete the Shinsengumi roster as much a possible. Okita: I grailed Okita not because of meta, but because I love her character itself. Nagao: The reason I grailed Nagao was her design Tomoe: So far same reason as Nagao Kojiro: REGEND Izou: I am also fond of how Izou executes his swift yet deadly attacks, animation is quite fantastic Ascelpius: Best doctor Avicebron: After playing LB1 I end up being able to like his character as a whole
NA server stories: **100** Dantes - He was one of my first 5*s, and the edgy appealed to my inner chunni. Nero Bride - Another earlier 5* in my collection, and while Nero is one of my favourite characters, OG is fixated on Hakuno, while Bride is _yours._ Top Waifu. Gilgamesh - The Golden Ego, NP2 the first banner I rolled him on, and he's just cool. And NP5 #1. Abby - I liked her character in Salem, and her interlude. Sitonai - She's Ilya, best girl of FSN (fight me), and my second NP5 SSR. Kama - Best Assassin, and I'm going to grail someone from every class eventually. Da Vinci Lily - I like her character in the Lostbelts, her kit, and that she's NP3. Musashi Berserker - Fun, irreverent, and she can loop. Space Ishtar - I really liked her in Saber Wars II, and she's NP3. (and level 102) **90 SRs** Lancelot - probably the only regret, grailed for gameplay, didn't even land Skadi. Nitocris - character grail, doesn't hurt that she farms well. Surfdred - Fun, and looped really, really well. Martha (Ruler) - One Punch Saint, that is also a Jojo's reference. **Other** Arash, 70 - One part Camelot, one part Stella! Waver, 92 - Bit of a dirty grail, but he got it for being the first Bond 10. Jackie, 92 - I literally said, as a roll catalyst, If she shows up, she gets a grail. She did. Ereshkigal, 92 - Was going to be my Lancer 100 candidate, then Melusine got announced, so indecision paralysis. **Future Plans** Melusine to 100, assuming she shows up at all. One of the Casters to 100, at the moment I'm leaning toward summer Nero, but grails are in short supply. Might see how much fun Izumo-no-Okuni is first. Might give some to Koyanskaya too. Might push Kriemhild to 90... While none of the Rulers have captured my fascination yet, I can see Caren getting a few grails, if she comes early and often. Ditto Arcueid. Plans are, of course, subject to change.
On NA I grailed Abby: Lv 100 because she is an eldritch foreigner and because of her story in Salem, her interlude, and her Valentine chocolate seen with Geronimo. Hokusai: Lv 100 because eldritch foreigner and I just think they are generally pretty funny. Astrea: Lv 100 because I like the rich, arrogant, blonde lady troupe in anime and Luvia's over all lore and character in the Nasuverse. Tamamo Cat: Lv 90 because she was my first gold servant in the game and I just love the lore of the Tamamo Nine. On NA I plan to grail Douman to Lv 120 because Douman. Sei and Murasaki to Lv 100 because I had to do a project on them and used them for it and just researching them a bit and learning more about them was amazing and I just love how their designs compliment each other even though they were designed by to different illustrators. (I'm just out of QP for these two) Yang, Jacque, and Van Gough to Lv 100 because eldritch foreigner Sen to Lv 100 because they are a very weird and scary servant Don Quixote to Lv 100 because of Wishbone the Reading Dog
Currently On the fence with grails but: Scáthach was my second Five Star, right after Okita, but I was in love with Celtic Mythology, so she's sitting at NP3 Level 100. Slowly getting the last append skill and 120. Level 94 Medea, currently. Favorite character from Greek Mythology, being one of the few Women who isn't just known for birthing a hero or dying horribly. She's the reason I found out about Fate, since my friend recognized her name in my insane ramblings. Plus I've seen people Grail Jason, and that sleight requires balance. Possible Grail projects: Artemis/Orion: Similar to Medea. Artemis is my favorite Greek God and I was named after Orion, being my middle name. I'd do it out of spite to people telling me I should've picked up Waver or that I could just use Euryale/Summon for Grand Orion. Enkidu: While I already have Scáthach, I fell in love with Enkidu, his simple design, personality and straight up being a weapon. If they ever drop a Sun Wukong, that's an immediate save for 2+ years and Grail. I read Journey to the West in Chinese and fell in love with the stupid monkey.
My first ever grailed servant was Semiramis bcs of Apocrypha. Also BCS she came out waaay before ishtar or Eresh. However I stopped after getting to 96. Then Eresh came and I read Babylonia chapter. Brought her up to 92. Then for while I don't think I grailed anyone else. And then I played CCC event and fell in love with Melt. Didnt grail her tho, but when her summer event came along, I 100-ed her lancer ver. My first lvl 100. Then I got Space Ishtar and left her at 90, until LB6 dropped on JP and everyone and their grandmas know of Castoria, so second lvl 100 instantly. Also BCS I absolutely love Astarte, her design just god tier for me. AND THEN LB6 part 2 dropped, bringing Melusine. This is when I said enough wait is enough and jumped on the JP bandwagon. Got 2 copies of Meluko with 90sq and used the insta 90 feature to up her straight to 90, and a week or two later, she became my third ever Lvl 100. A few months back, after the long ass journey to collect embers, Melusine became my FIRST ever LVL120 servant, and NP3 now cause got one more copy with 30sq on her rerun . Then, just with the recent JP event, with the last node being such a pain in the arse, and how Baobhan was really putting in work (and previous affection for her as well), she became my 4th grailed servant to lvl 100.
This was a great video! So far, I’ve grailed Ushi to 100; I love her so much! There are others I want to grail but haven’t yet. I’m pretty stingy with grails.
Lv. 100 Medusa & Medusa Lily - best FSN girl Lv. 100 Moriarty - Shinjuku story, cool lore, quirky as hell, my main Servant in the game Lv. 100 Sigurd - DILF, TsudaKen, megane Lv. 100 Lolinci - actually cried after seeing her in the game for the very first time, I knew right there she was special, also have her NP6 in my alt(same situation with Yang) Lv. 110 Yang Guifei - she blessed me with EX luck in every banner she's in, now NP6 with the IS pre-event campaign. Might as well make her 120 right there(I'm F2P so getting a 5* Servant to NP5 is almost unreal, so grailing them to the maximum stats would be a great compliment for them).
I was sulking for over a year, because I was reading the story and I loved Dantes very much specially in Solomon, Lostbelts, KnK, and his Prison Tower event, I did 300 rolls of saved tickets and qz but failed horribly, around 600+ qz and 100+ tix even though I got him in 3 tix in JP and he was my farmer for years in JP I was barely playing the game because I couldnt farm well, that was until I decided to just raise my Zerklot, since he was np2, I grailed him, traded SR tix for his dupe, got a copy of him from spook. He is now retired and at bond 13. I finally came back and started reading and enjoying the game again after getting Godjuna in 20 rolls, caught up with the interludes, lostbelts ,events, and stuff. Grailed Zerklot, Godjuna, then Usashi~ thank you for coming to my ted talk
So for the current lvl 100 grailed servants: Jing Ke - always thought she was cool and had a fun kit. I really enjoyed her role in LB3 as she’s the sole reason we had a fighting chance against the Emperor Bloodaxe - my go to aoe Zerk for a long time as other options were a little too weak or too frail to use. The dynamic between him and his wife seems really fun and I wished that was explored more (also buffs for Bloodaxe pls) Bart - has become one of my options farming caster waves and doors due to cheap cost and good damage even against non bronze enemies. Very silly man that means well… most of the time, tho he is a man of good taste Helena - Waver May be one of first 5 stars, but Helena helps feel my need of a caster who can support and do damage. Pretty fun character and cute. Glad she has gotten a nice buff and hope she gets more eventually. Melt - I am of many Waifus, but Melt is on the top for sure. Gorgeous design, really good kit, fun to use, CCC event was an amazing character arc for her. I just love her man. Probably one of my candidates for who’s going to be my first lvl 120 servant.
Mata Hari to a 100 because she deserves better and I love her, Penth to a 100 because she spooked me to NP5 back when I was still f2p and wanted to honor her persistance, Castoria because I find her adorable, Wu to 90 because she was my 1st gold assassin (casually shoves Stheno to the 2nd archive) Chloe to 90 because a friend's Chloe carried me through that one Solomon fight where he just SPAMS HIS EVADE
I also want to comment I also really liked Hijikata because of his interlude, I was disappointed at first when I got him from a GSSR but her really grew on me. I swear I gotta slow down his NP every time because him yelling "SHINSENGUMI DAAA" is so badass.
Not gone lie, got him last year for the new years gssr. I was lowkey hurt and didn’t level him because at the time I was still trying to get one 5* for every class and didn’t want it to be him. But his running screaming SHIN SEN GUMI DAAAA!!! It time with his attacks won me.
-Gorgon 120 because of how much i love Medusa , why not Medusa you might ask . Well im a big mythologie and history fan and the Avenger version is the closest to the Myth The following are all voiced by Maaya Sakamoto which is probably my favorite female VA ,but its not the only reason -Both Shiki are grailed because of KnK , i simply loved the movie -I love Da Vinci , both of them . I love what they represent for us in the FGO story . -Eresh is just precious , and i quite love her design -Most people would grail Kama for waifu ,which is totally understandable she does be sexy , i grailed her because she is one of the closest to Sakura of the Sakura face . (Medusa/Sakura one of the best servant/master duo) -I always was planning to grail Jeanne (french pride ,Maaya and she simply is a very nice character) , the game design to grace me with a high NP Jarcher so she is the first of the 2 to get grailed (OG will get 100 as well at some points) -As for Bryn , i originally only rolled for her to support Gorgon, but the more i saw her in story (LB2, Da Vinci event , summer 5) , the more i learned to like her . It also help that Noto Mamiko voice is smooth as silk , honey to the ears -finally my only non 100 , Herk , he got me into Fate and FGO , i had to do it (he will also get 100 at some point)
I grailed Minamoto no Raikou (berserker) because she is waifu. But seriously, when I first started playing FGO in 2019, most of the berserker support are Raikou. So used her a lot and I love her for carrying me in the story. Plus, she is my first NP5 Five star servant.
Old Hassan, Hijikata, Old Li are grailed. I mean, these guys are pretty much what I would call "role models" for me. Not in the sense of idolization or anything, but more of being able to relate to their held values. Anastasia is the most "waifu" reason of my grailing, my only waifu in all Fate lore, and probably also the most complicated. Anastasia is one of the youngest, if NOT the youngest "real person" servant in Fate lore which makes her story more concrete and tragic, as it's the kind of story that's separated from any kind of historical mysticism. If anyone remembers the movie Anastasia released by Fox in '97, this was my first introduction to the character of Anastasia Romanov. Initially, I thought it was just a story until years later in which I learned that the movie was based on the "what if" rumors that Anastasia did survive the killing of her family. It was through this that I learned about her family's history, their deeds, and the factors that led to the civil war and the family's deaths. As someone who lost family at an impressionable age, I couldn't imagine dying at such a young age(the sisters were 22, 21, 19, and 17; the brother was 13 when they were all killed) and I've always wanted to imagine a world in which Anastasia would have been able to live her life fully instead. This also makes it as to why I was so happy seeing her smile in her Summer version(despite me really not liking the ascension 3 for being too "fanservice-y") as that might be just the kind of smile that was taken by their murder. I will get her Summer version in NA though and will grail it as well. tl;dr: Old Hassan, Hijikata, Old Li grails because I can relate to their values. Anastasia is waifu beyond Fate media, and grailed because of the tragedy of her life and wishing she could live a full life that was taken from her.
lvl 100 Enkidu I loved Enkidu since I first saw them in the anime. The story in-game made me more invested. Also their VA. KobaYuu is one of my favourite voice actress, so I was very happy when I heard her voice in the anime. Also working to grail Gilgamesh atm. These two and their story together just made me more interested to research the Epic of Gilgamesh and read about it. Other characters I want to grail in the future are Nobunaga and Okita. I love their over-all designs and interactions together.
I got Nagiko-chan in a few rolls even thought I wasn't super interested in her but I ended really liking her, yet I didn't really had the intention to grail her at first, but what really changed my mind was her ridiculously cute and really well drawn 4th ascension art (and the thighs helped too). It's one of my favorite art pieces in the game, maybe my 1# favorite
My two carmillas are grailed because i just love her alot. I find her character very interesting and her valentine's scene, especially her summer version, made me fall in love with her. Sanson, bedivere, and jekyll and hyde are all grailed because i just love Miyano Mamoru. Bedivere, i just love his character and his role in Camelot and I want to learn more about his character. Meanwhile, Sanson, learning more about his character in fgo makes me love him alot. Sanson is my first lvl 120 grail candidate.
I only really have 2 max grailed servants Maou Nobunaga-one of my favourite historical figures turned into a tall redhead which is so badass to me, she has such a goofy side to her too I just love her to bits man. Archer Gilgamesh-my very first ssr because i started around the Gssr like 2-3 years ago Gil has single handily carried me through multiple story chapters and events .
lvl 100s: 1. hijikata - i love him sm and he came home in one ticket on my bday am so grateful to him. rolled for him cos it was my bday and i wanted to test otu bday luck but he grew on me so much through his interlude and voicelines 2. dantes - my edgy phase made him my number one husbando so after all the bloodshed i went through just to get him i had to grail him to lvl 100 3. caenis - i love his blunt and uncouth attitude, i just love his character overall 4. archer emiya - tbh when i first got into fate i didn't really like him but then house husband and just his caring nature just grew on me as i got out of my emo phase so yea 5. godjuna - need i say more? 6. izo - my most recent lvl 100 char actl. the more the story dove into his tragic backstory the more i started to want to give him headpats and the more i wanted to actl use him so grailing it was lvl 94s: 1. mordred - my fav knight of the round table. stopped here because other grail candidates dropped. not sure if i'll ever take her higher lvl 92s: 1. zerker nightingale - my first 5* lvl 90s: 1. lancer cu - the char that got me hooked on fate. plus he's rlly gd at solo-ing so bonus points! 2. hot wheels - angy man + his backstory just got me to be grailed once i get my hands on more: 1. saito - his attitude. damn. yes. there are other servats i grailed too but i still hv no idea why i grailed them?? so i didn't include them in this list
First grail - okita. She was my first “good”(how I regret that thinking now) ssr that did big damage Gilgamesh - my favorite servant from zero. Love the personality and just how op he is. Also like his lore once I read it. Would like to play/read ccc too eventually Ereshkigal - waifu. Always have a soft spot for servants like her, okita alter, kingprotea who get sad when they realized they’re going to be erased because they’ve been forgotten/ should’t even exist Tamamo caster - played for a few weeks of summer 1 na got her lancer first ssr. Deleted game. Downloaded game summer 1 rerun got her lancer first ssr second account. Didn’t play for a year but kept game. I wanna grail her lancer and I’m desperately waiting for the fate extra remake to play it. Kuro - ridiculous damage. Breaks 600k with just bg and one tamamo support. Plus prisma illya story actually gets pretty good after season 1 and 2 imo Valkyrie - my favorite concept for a servant. Thousands of different bodies all Combined into a hive mind that works together. I’d love to see more of them in the story and know they appear in summer 7. My favorite is ortlinde because black hair and personality. Voice lines, personalities, np bringing back their other sisters everything is just great. Okita assassin - i liked okita saber and second ascension is just so cool Nitocris - thought the damage mattered with her np and she’s really cute Thanks for reading this giant text box and sorry I couldn’t condense it but wouldn’t feel right
lvl100 Da Vinci Rider: My second SSRs after Castoria, who I both summoned after beginning Camelot. NP2 from the GSSR, replacing my then team comp of just Herc and Mash brawling. Insane upgrade obviously, so I wanted to show some love and also make her a more reliable main offense to rely on. lvl90 Emiya: My favorite servant of the Fate/ stay night cast, love his theme, his lore, his VA, would smash. Also really good gameplay wise lvl100 Scathach: my first NP3 SSR out of 10ish tickets and a few multis. I love her motherly & strict but hilarious personality, also bunny costume 😩💦. Oh and she fucks up bosses obviously lvl90 CasCu in progress: my personal favorite out of all the Cus, also best buster looper so I figured I grail him
I grailed tamamo caster and tama cat to 100+ because I love tamamo she's my favorite. Outside of that, i grailed Jeanne Alter Beserker to 94 because I loved summer 3 a ton. After that, you get into "I like these servants" and "for gameplay?" Servants. For gameplay servants are basically: Herc, lancelot, Arash, Cheng gong. Only 2 each. For love servants: Artoria (for invisible air cuz I love it), both Musashis (second favorite servant in fate), both Illyas and miyu (magical girls are the best)
Lesser grail: Raikou lancer, Ryouma rider, Hokusai saber, Nyanta and Luvia these are characters I like gameplay wise and as characters. Grailed to 100 and plan to grail to 100 and max fou: Mordred became one of my favorites after watching Apokrypha, she was so cool that I felt for her, she would be that friend I would love to have irl. Ushiwakamaru (currently level 108): She is my favorite waifu from FGO, she's so sweet and cute and to top on that she's voiced by my favorite voice actress of all time Hayami Saori. Ushiwakamaru assassin: same reason as her rider version but even more cheerful and playful. Anastasia: loved her character during the Lostbelt 1 and her relationship with her master was pretty cute. Chole von Einzbern: well if you watched Kaleid you will know why. Caenis: at first I was kinda meh towards her but after playing the lostbelt 5 I loved her a lot. Miyu Edelfelt: best girl from Kaleid, my ideal little sister. Illyasviel caster: yeah I love Kaleid and Illya was my favorite from the original Fate series. Musashi berserker: recently Musashi as a character has grown a lot on me and I regret not rolling when her saber version was available. Sitonai: nothing much to say, she's NP4 cause I like her a lot. Taira: I don't have her yet but when she will be available I'll go with everything for her.

I also love purple. Its my favorite color. Rama lvl100- his undying loyalty to his wife is really sweet and his dress and pants outfit combo is so cool . His story lore is great, one of my faves. Sita is not here anyways- David lvl104 for now- ah my damn beloved, love his va, love his lore (my childhood favorite), a dilf, i absolutely love his son as well. Im his new abishag. Fuuma lvl90 - his role in shimousa is great, saved my ass from damn wyverns in part 1, star gen go brr. Bartholomew lvl70 (lvl90 in the future) - great voice, decent design, hes just hot. Arjuna archer lvl100 - i love arjuna, the reason why i played fgo, saw an ad about his archer form and im in love. Dantes lvl100- i love the musical, the movie and the book of the count of the monte cristo. the moment i saw that hes a servant in fgo, i immediately gave my sq to him and fortunately got np2. Great husbando. Mandricardo lvl80 (soon lvl90) - i love him, best boy, my best friend. If you know, you know. Qin shi huang (future lvl100) - their design is amazing, lelouch my emperor, love them in lb3. Lanling lvl90 - his role in lb3 is great, i love his design, his np, and hes very cute.
I grailed Hokusai (Foreigner) because she is my favorite in terms of design. She also helped me get back into FGO. I was burnt out on FGO for a long time already at that point but when her banner came I logged in and got her during my last 10 pull and she has was the reason I got back and stayed in FGO. To this day she is still my favorite servant, I am still debating on Grailing her saber variant since I dont use her that much but maybe!
Lvl 100 Illya - Got into FGO because of her Lvl 100 Sitonai - It goes without saying Lvl 100 Chloe - yes must grail all the prillya girls (currently working on miyu next) Lvl 100 Melt Summer - after the S.E.R.A.P.H. event I fell in love with her more and since I don't have the original version, I might as well go and grail the summer one. But will grail the OG version also if i get lucky and get her in the GSSR. Lvl 100 DVR, Jack, Beni-enma - going for an all GRAILED LOLI support list Lvl 90 Medusa Lancer (Ana) - loved her after clearing the Babylonia story and watching the Babylonia anime will surely make her lvl 100 in the future Lvl 100 Anastasia - got her in my first GSSR in which she became my first SSR in the game and I got spooked by her 2 more times in which she has grown to me and now if I get her to NP5 will make her lvl 120 just for the memes and love.
I grailed my Herc to lvl 104 because not only was he my first four star in my second account but his also the coolest servant for me in the original fate stay night cast, followed by my level 92 Jalter(both berserker and avenger) then lvl 92 Regend and Rider Vince.
I knew about Medea's lore from mythology. I always thought that she got the short end of the stick and was really denied happiness. Love her design in FSN, and she carried me in early chapters.
lvl 103 space ishtar (going to be 120): My absolute favorite servant in the entire fate series and Rin is my favorite character of all time plus my one and only waifu. It took way too much to get NP 5, but I'm glad it's done. lvl 100 Muramasa: I love Shirou and got NP 3 within like 6 multis. Also that FA is my favorite in the game. lvl 100 OG Jeanne: Before I even got into fate, Joan of Arc was my favorite historical figure. I just thought she was super badass. lvl 100 Jarcher: same reason as above AND when I first started playing on the JP server, I got NP 2 within 3 multis. fast foward three years, and now she's np 5 :) lvl 100 Achilles: I hated him at first cause I got NP 4 all from ssr spooks, but he came in clutch for multiple fights for me and does a lot of damage, so I warmed up to him. Also, that fight with Chiron in Apocrypha is so fucking cool. I rolled for NP 5 not too long ago and got it too. lvl 100 Arjuna Alter: gameplay and also got NP 2 off a 1 ticket fluke. Also, I just love all of pako's designs and arjuna alter is my favorite of their's lvl 90 OG Cu (soon to be 100): Cu is my favorite out of all the servants in fate/stay night. just an overall badass. lvl 80 Charlotte Corday (soon to be 90): Similar reason as Jeanne, thought she was a badass with her lore and I really like her design.
Man, I answered this question in Discord when someone asked me, and it was thousands of words... Gotta keep this short. Mordred: Love her design, love her voice (Sawashiro Miyuki is my fav VA), love her personality and philosophy, she's a cute and badass tomboy, just the ideal waifu and my favorite Fate character. Rider Mordred: See above, also bonus that she's so cheery and happy, made me love water-skiing (actual surfing kinda out of the option in Finland) Gilgamesh: Always had a thing for arrogant characters who can more than back up their talk with both wisdom and power. Enkidu: Big Kobayashi Yuu fan, and he is a sweet yet unbelievably powerful character who has such an endearing yet tragic backstory with Gil. Nero: Might surprise some but I actually became a fan of her after watching The Last Encore, she is very cute, egocentric and insightful, pushes many of my buttons. Shiki: Really loved her in Kara no Kyoukai and she is so badass and endearing, her split personality was very fascinating as well. She was my first welfare and ended up being one of my favorites. Caster Shuten: I've listened to ASMR for almost 10 years now, and no one in Fate does it quite the same as our favorite local ASMR oni. She is also cute, smug and scary when she wants to be. Nightingale: Badass, immovable will and very beautiful design, with the cherry on top being her VA (Sawashiro Miyuki, heh.) Made America a great singularity for me. Qin Shi Huang: Loved him in LB3 and enjoyed him a lot ever since I got him in the GSSR. Many of the same traits as Gil. Man gave us immortality pills as a Valentine's gift (How based is that?!)
Level 100 Mordred-The first ever 5 star servant I got but she came when I was quitting FGO and just summoning to get rid of my fates. Maybe a year or 2 later I decided to try FGO again and still had my transfer code. Loaded my account and by sheer luck or fate I joined back during the Fate Apocrypha event so Mordred gave me the advantage to actually clear my first FGO event. Learned about Mordred's lore later on in Camelot which I never paid attention to before but realizing shes basically had a hand with OG Saber's downfall made her a favorite of mine. Level 100 Musashi- learned of Musashi(Male) from another game called Warriors Orochi on the psp where you had a large number of icons from china and japan. I simply wanted a character that dual wielded swords and Musashi was the one, one of his final weapons was a combination of a sword and a wooden sword so out of curiousness I searched him up and learned of his lore against Kojiro who was also in the game. I then stumbled upon a video describing his books and now live by a verse he mentions "Respect the gods but dont rely on them". To my surprise FGO had a version of Musashi as well and also pays respect to his sword style where one is over the shoulder to hide the length of the sword. Level 100 Jeanne Alter Berserker- first she was simply serving as a replacement since I dont have my own Jeanne Alter (still dont up to this day) But her chuni side has grown on me. I read Jeanne D' arcs info and noticed that it resembled a movie I watched as a kid yet didnt know the title and also played a psp game under the same name. The life and sacrifice of Jeanne D' Arc was sad and to be burnt at the stake by the end of it. I sadly didnt resonate with Jeanne D' Arc as I am no saint, rather I resonated with Jeanne Alter who held rage and a grudge for what happened to her. Yes the Alter version felt more human than the Jeanne we have in FGO that simply accepts and forgives. Will grail Jeanne alter (IF I GET HER!!!)
I grailed my Arthur and Jeanne ruler to 100, because I feel like they are an embodiment of heroes. When I saw Jeanne in Apocrypha, she took my heart with her kindness and bravery. And her design, of course. With Arthur, it was more a coincidence, I didn't know about male version at all. But then I discover him in the game, and he was so damn perfect as a knight by looking, and he is "OG", male King of knights... I was SO happy I got him with my last summon!.. After that, I saw Prototype, and my respect to him only grew up. So these two are my most lovely servants. My Kintoki rider is on 90, it was my appreciation to him for being so useful. And I'm still thinking about grailing Medusa rider to 80, because I like her too, but there are some doubts about it. Also, my summer Kiara is already off limits, even if I didn't summon her specifically. So she is another doubtful one. And damn, how can I forget about Nero, she is on 90 too! I started FGO because of her, her cheerfulness and optimism in Last encore was wonderful. And I was very upset about she calling you "master" instead of "praetor"/"player". But still, she's amazing. I hope I wrote all of this right.😅
Grailed Ozymandias, Drake, Cu alter, Arash, and Arjuna Alter. Drake was honestly partly because I had a bunch of rider XP cards, but I do still quite like her. Most of the servants I've grailed, I did so to give them more damage, but Cu is because I love him. Not only was he a servant that I loved when I first played the game, dropping it due to burn out and I simply wasn't having fun at the time, but he was my very first SSR when I picked the game back up. Got him when, ironically, I was rolling on the male only banner on Valentine's a few years back in an effort to get Heracles without rerolling. Ozy was also done out of love, and I'm looking to grail Bunnytoria and both classic SSR Jeanne. Merlin, First Hassan, Jack, Karna and Dioscuri are all on the list to be grailed. Just bouncing between if I want to grail one of them, or save the cards for Muramasa. I absolutely agree with King Hassan's Noble Phantasm being great. If it isn't my favorite, then it is definitely up there.
Heracles. My first gold servant from the tutorial pull and carried my ass through the first year of my fgo journey. An absolute unit and threat in the anime with a beautiful written story in the VN.
Jack the Ripper was my first SSR, and she was pretty much the only servant I cared about at the time. It was love at first sight when I saw Kingprotea. Somewhat of the same thing with Nobunaga, but when I found out more about her she's just become so much of a favourite of mine I just can't place anyone else as my nr. 1 priority for lvl 120. Then there's Oberon, whom... I can only describe as perfect.

To briefly summarize my reasons, My current lvl 100 Grails are, - Okita (Saber) Going to 120 her soon. Design, personality/character, how I discovered FGO, love Japanese history/culture and already knew of the Shinsengumi prior to FGO, I now own a 1/7 scale figure of her final ascension. - Ryougi Shiki (Assassin): Discovered Kara no Kyoukai prior to FGO need I say more? Also have a 1/8 scale figure but not in her Red Jacket sadly, need aniplex to re-release plz ty. - Scathach (Lancer): Joined during the Summer re-run of her Summer version. Also love her design and character. - Arjuna Alter (Berserker): Loved his design the moment I saw it. He's simply cool. Also, Archer Arjuna introduced me to Indian Mythos. - Nobu (Avenger): Oda Nobunaga, need I say more? My lvl 90 Grails are, - Tomoe (Archer and Saber versions): Waifu, ancient Japanese historical figure, and her designs are immaculately awesome. - Carmilla (Rider): Waifu bait. Femme Fatale characters can be hit or miss for me, but Summer Carmilla definitely hit. - Okita (Assassin): Summer. Okita. - Scathach (Assassin): Summer. Scathach. Also, was the first free event servant available to me when I joined so she was 10 bonded fairly quickly.
So for me there's a few I have Grailed, and others I have Grails set aside for but haven't started yet. Firstly and most importantly there is Scathach. My favorite servant. Upon getting her I immediately set out to 10/10/10, level 100, and 2k her. Now with NP3 on her I have started the long journey of 120ing her, currently in the 102-104 range. Next there is Chloe, or Kuro as some call her. I actually tried FGO 3 times before becoming invested on my 3rd try. But on my previous try, that was when Prisma Illya was initially ran and while I never completed the event, it stuck in my memory. So when she came back after I became a dedicated player, I just fell in love with her, in the sense that she is my chaotic Gremlin daughter. She was the first servant I used grails on I have grailed her to 100. Next and last of my used grails was Summer Okita. Okita Saber was my first SSR in the game and soon after I also got Okita Alter, so Okita is also someone special and dear to me. So when I pulled Summer Okita I felt like she had to be equal level to her other versions, so she is level 90. Next I'll go over my grail plans and the grails I've set aside Firstly is if Summer Scathach ever comes back I will 100 her, and then there is Skadi who I've put off Grailing just because it wasn't practical even though I want to do it. Next is Ereshkigal, any fellow Ereshkigal fans out there already know how precious she is and I love her. Then there's Jalter, perhaps a basic pick but I love her anyways and want to increase her attack even higher. Then there's Space Ishtar, Saber Wars 2 became one of my favorite events in the whole game and I really enjoyed her there as well as her kit being one of my favorites and her NP being one of my top 3 NPs. That's it for servants available on NA at the moment but I do also plan on grailing Morgan and Archetype Earth when they come out. I did grail them both on my JP account as well as Bazett and Summer Okita Alter. At the moment I have 35 grails and I need 44 for all my projects and 120ing Scathach, so completely possible within the next 2 years until they come out. I also might grail Charlie on at least my JP account just because he is one of my favorite servants as well.
Like you, I grail for love. It keeps me sane. Artoria is my favorite Fate character so I grail her various versions the most and having that goal to work toward makes the game really enjoyable for me.
For me your story about becoming interested in playing FGO is the same, but with King Hassan. I also thought Cursed Arm looked incredibly cool, and one day decided to look at the FGO wiki to see how he was perceived. It was a little disheartening he was only a 2-star but that got me curious to looking up the rest of the fate/stay night cast. Eventually I just went and looked at the entire servant list by ID, and the moment I saw King Hassan I knew I had to try to get him. I never played a gacha before and swore off even trying them cause I felt like most were just waifu bait jpg creators, so seeing such a badass design was the push I needed to give it a chance. I was also extremely lucky because the rerun (which was supposedly his last for the foreseeable 2 years+), was in 4 months from when I started playing. After saving up every single quartz pass the tutorial roll, the day came and on my 2nd to last 10 roll after around 300 quartz, I got him. Was extremely happy especially because I got spooked at the very beginning by Jeanne. I was basically out of quartz but by some miracle, I got another two copies of him from single tickets/rolls over the next few days. After that I just felt in my heart I had to max everything for him, there was no question. He's currently lv 105 and I have alot of embers stored waiting for a 2x chance on enhancing. He's of course also getting all his cards fou pawed first. The other ones aren't quite as storied, I have lv 100 Gawain because he was very intimidating first time in Camelot, when the 2nd SR selector came I picked him without a second thought. Even though he was a bit of a monster in the story, in reality he's such a bro and a cool guy. Also great design with cape. After I got 4 more copies rolling for Kingprotea (which I unfortunately failed) I decided I'll max him out as well. Ivan is 100 because his design is sick, his kit is actually nuts, and his voice is amazing. He didn't do much in the story but I like the slumbering giant archetype of characters. Orion at 100 is much of the same, with the addition of BIG BUSTER CRITS, funny bear face, and just the idea of the grand archer being a man who goes around bonking animals really hard. I might just have a thing for gorilla decks

1- Karna: he’s one of my favorite lancers in fate, i played fate extella and his scenes were phenomenal. I read about him more and i liked him a lot (even in apocrypha anime. That fight with Seig is still my favorite fight of all time). He spooks me a lot and carried me so none other than him deserved to be grailed.
2- Gilgamesh: i like his complexity as a character and how majestic he is. The more i know about him the more i like him more. He’s one of the ssrs that i didn’t spent money to get him. 3 tickets got me np3, and 2 from multies in different time.
3- Chokita: i love this girl and how kind she is, and i like what they called kuudure so she’s definitely one of my most beloved character.
4- Abigail: i liked her a lot in Salem and i like how innocent she is despite the god who resides in her. (Any one can say what they want about her. She stands to none in her sheer amount of cuteness)
5- King Hassan: he’s the reason i returned to this game. If i didn’t get him back then i wouldn’t be playing this game.
6- Okita: she’s okita, i used to love her by a lot, fate/ type redline skyrocket my love for her.
8- Arjuna alter: more hp and damage. He’s badass why not

With his animation updata and most notably "DIIIIANAAAA" + LB 5.2 appearence, your choice is absolutely based.
To be fair Beowulf does that in is np but I would love for him to get a buff or a animation update.
My Grail Story
LVL 100 Nagao Kagetora. I started playing right before Guda4 came out. So she became my first SR , as I continued to use her the more I read up on her lore and started to like her even more. Then the voice is just so lovely and I like how she has very little understanding of human emotions. So she became an easy grail target
Lvl 100 Paris. As I played I saw the lil boy and I really liked the way his animation were. As I continued to use him as I was quite fresh into the game and had no idea about other archers he naturally became a character I liked so much that I been using him in most events and stories where I can.
LvL 100 Jalter Summer. Now Jalter is what got me into the game. Reading fanstories and seeing all the art. I just love the badass girl that can kick my ass xD And people overplaying the Tsundere part naturaly made me love her.
LvL 90 Jason. There is nothing to hide. LB 5 story made me just like him , he really grew on me and his NP is fun. so he became an obvious grail target outside of good farmer XD
LvL 90 Shuten Douji Caster. What can I say. I love the VA for Shuten and I enjoyed the event a lot. Shuten been through a lot with me throught the story so I thought she was a good Grail target
Lvl 90 Hokusai Saber. She is cute , her art style is lovely and yeah that is about it XD Now I think she def should go to 100 because she does so much for me on my account
LvL 70 Arash I grailed Arash because I think he deserves it. The best farmer and a cool story . He might not have stats as a SSR but he is worth more than that =w=
Lvl 100+ (not done yet) Jalter , as I said before with summer.- She is the biggest reason I started FGO and she is also the biggest reason why I commission art today. I find her story interesting and I even read the singularity manga . Hoping for Shinjuku Anime XD Also I talk with one of the jalter doujin makers now and then xD so she made me meet a cool creator too

Mata Hari lvl 100: My first grailed and bond 10 servant. I started grailing her as a joke due to my terrible luck back when I first started playing. After reading her profile regarding her wish and using her from Orleans all the way to the Solomon raids, she became one of my favorite servants in FGO.
Penthesilea lvl 100: A straightforward and brutal NP animation for a female berserker and a cute design. She's probably the one I'd consider my number 1 waifu in FGO.
Columbus lvl 100: I have a soft spot for villains you love to hate. He's unredeemable scumbag with a crazy beard no never gives up. It also helps that he's drawn by Moto Murabito.
Bunyan lvl 100: I just want to protect that smile after reading the All the Statesmen event...
Sei Shonagon lvl 100: Her memetic NP and class aside, she's got a fun personality.
-Caesar lvl 90: My second grailed servant, enjoying a well deserved retirement after nuking Lancer Artoria.
-Gareth lvl 90: I love her second ascension design.
-Chen Gong lvl 75: The perfect servant for getting rid of unwanted story supports *cough*Shimousa*cough*
-Leonidas lvl 70: Cool muscular spartan
To me the best part of Penth's NP is the line delivery. The VA does a fantastic job at the screams.
I'd love to list all the reasons why i decided to give grails to my favorites but I'd end up having to write a full essay on each
So instead I'll talk about my eventual level 120 servant and why I'd grail them that far once they're out in NA:
Oberon, I barely know what happens to him in LB6 besides being spoiled on the "truth" of why he's a pretender, but there's so much about him that makes him the perfect character for me. Husbando wise, he's got it all, nice pretty boi and edgy hot dude, also 2 wildly different aesthetics and personalities, phenomenal voice acting for all forms. Design wise it's very consistent and the artist did a great job nailing the old medieval-esque clothing. Although I'm not a fan of bugs in real life myself but I still love how it's integrated in every aspect of his design and the species involved for each ascension fits very well. The fact that he's a Fairy, since childhood I've always been super obsessed with stories involving fairies (tho they're usually pixies or tinkerbell type of fairies, and yes i loved everything related to tinkerbell too) even read the rainbow fairies books, eventually as i grew up i discovered the mythical origins which is Fae or Faefolk etc and the fact that Oberon is one of the most welknown Fairy type figure is perfect for me. As for gamewise, Animations did not disappoint, gameplay is versatile (ik he's a support but I will use him as my one man army), as for LB6 stuff I'll find out next year but I know it won't disappoint from what little I know of him.
I'll stop here, either way I'm super hyped for his release going for NP5+ max everything including appends etc
My main is in JP. I grailed Voyager to level 116 now, waiting to 120 him in the coming bond points. Currently NP4 and 2K fou'ed
Ever since his debut in Requiem, i have always loved him and seeing him in Voyager is a dream come true. I just felt like a connection with him, plus his smile is precious.

Lvl 100 Savior of France: when I first watching Fate/Stay Night (UBW route, to be more especific) I saw him swinging his sword against Saber and loved the Character and his NP, so I decided to study a bit more about him.
Lvl 100 Enkidu: when I watched the Babylonia anime and had begun playing FGO, I used a FP Support and loved his habilities and the NP... both in anime and in story are amazing.
Lvl 92 Fujino: Purple Hair, Sadistic personality, KnK OST... and more.
Lvl 92: Jalter Summer: my First Event servant and the First Event i've finished.
Lvl 92 Kama: Sakura face and love, so much love involved
Currently on NA:
Kama is 101/102, shes my favorite servant so far out of the nasuverse I love how she hits all my favorite personality traits, tsundere yandere kuudere, but none of them are over pronounced and make her seem clichéd or bland she very much feels like a real person to me, and whenever we get Male Kama out of npc hell I will be whaling for him just like summer Kama because my love transcends merely romantic to just a genuine affection.
Scathath currently only lv92 but she's the reason I got into FGO, I had recently at the time met some very good friends who reunited me with Fate I did not and never will like Deen/Stay Night it was fucking awful, but UBW heavens feel apocrypha, extella and FGO have made me a lifetime fan of this franchise and its all thanks to shishou, a busty gorgeous red head who's my perfect woman, strong, strong minded with a great personality but still got a bit of that dommy mommy feel to her.
Nagatora, lv100 (please give me coins I NEEEEED her at lv120) she was a surprise grail for me, her event was the first event I was so enthralled by simply because of her I was waiting by my phone watching the clock each night as the next part unlocked, as a fellow sociopath I relate to her greatly and if she was real I'm sure we'd be the best of friends drinking til the whee hours of the morning laughing at the idiots know as human kind. Summer Kagetora when lasagna?
Melt: 92/100, melts another surprise grail for me, I was pulling for passionlip and she was avoiding me but melt popped in and said hey, I knew their lore but I was avoiding it while the CCC fan translation was finishing but then I did the event in FGO with her... and damn man my heart still hurts, I'm not into flat chests but damn am I into fantastic personalities and she aces that exam with only a handful of characters to rival her imo, and she's definitely stolened a piece of my heart.
Lastly YuYu, or Yang Guifei, I only just pulled her tonight, sadly I broke my spine a little over a year ago and during recovery I had to skip her initial release and well I was floored by her coming home immediately without hesitation 60quartz and a dream and the adorable YuYu came running into my arms and shes my next guranteed 100 grail maybe even further I love everything about her and I can see why a whole dynasty fell cuz that bashful smile would make me topple a country too.
On JP:
Arc lv100, it's Arcuied, I prefer her more calm cool side but the ganky girl hyperactive type is hot too, and we've waited so long for her I knew the moment I pulled her she was going to 100 and beyond.
Xufu lv80: I love Yu senpai, both versions of her on NA have grails til 90 so of course I was gonna grail our adorable little Xu Fu who's best daughter and noone can change my mind she'll be a 100 on NA for sure.
And lastly Valk Summer, Blondie of course since she was my first welfare on JP I felt it was only right to grail her to 100
I get what you mean on all of these. My grail target was and always will be Arthur and I haven't been able to grail anyone else to 100 save, Hans, Bedi, and Mandricardo. In part cause I love them but also to bring them up to the level I think they should be at. A close second though to grail is Kama for all the reasons you listed and more I really enjoyed Kama in Ooku. Same with Kagetora, though I have to ask are you actually sociopathic? If so I find that interesting cause part of the reason I liked Kagetora so much was how atypical her personality is to the average person. But for you it's more relatable so you may understand her a lot more than I could.
Lvl 102 Berserker Lancelot
I first got attracted to him because it's a knight with a gun for a noble phantasm, plain and simple. I got first (and still only) copy during the free 4 star ticket. That was 3 years ago, before the animation update, before skadi. Those updates were just icing on the cake to me. Then I started to research his backstory and damn, I relate to him even more. I have survival's guilt for the longest time and I just can't help but feel for him. What was just grunts and shouts and ARRRTHUUURRRRR now has a deeper feeling. I can feel the anger and sadness that he has in his distorted voice, I just- damn. I know his kit is, let's be honest, outdated nowadays but on normal quests, I always bring him with me, even bosses. Trying to make him work with Skadi, Reines, BB summer, Mozart, etc. I just love that guy. Aside from Gogh next week, I don't really want any other servants on the line. Maybe Melusine because obligatory "I want to get all the Lancelots" but besides her, Gogh and Musashi (which she didn't come and never will be at this point), I'm not too interested in other servants. So I mainly save my quarts for a spook Berserker Lancelot banner and spend my tickets on story gacha trying to fish for more of his copies.

For my NA account, going by the order I grailed them:
Lvl. 90 Arash: I just love everything about this man. From his legend, to his role in Camelot, to his Interlude, to his Valentine's scene. Fanart might have influenced me in my choice as well lmao.
Lvl. 90 Mandricardo: BEST FRIENDO. Finished Atlantis and he immediately became one of my favorites. First servant I got to 2k Fous and I plan to get him to lvl. 120.
Lvl. 90 Lakshmi Bai: She was kinda the reason I started playing FGO in the first place. Saw a figure of her and thought her design was really cool so when I found out she's from the Fate series and only appeared in the mobile game so far I wanted to try it. Loved her in the LB4 as well.
Lvl. 90 Charlotte Corday: LB5. That's it. Really cute as well, just look at her Valentine's scene!
Lvl. 90 Kijyo Koyo: Doesn't have as much of a lore reason as the others (next Requiem chapter when?) just... Pretty oni dinosaur lady. Still kinda sad I only got her to NP4 during Requiem banner and she's had no other banner ever since. Not even on JP ;-;
Lvl. 90 Nagao Kagetora: Favorite GudaGuda character and the first welfare I got. Only got her to NP1 during the first run of the event and then grailed her when the rerun happened. Carried me through a lot of the early chapters since I'm pretty sure she was the first character I got to max lvl.
Lvl. 90 EMIYA: Should have grailed OG Archer earlier but was thinking "do I really need two Lvl. 90 Archers right now?" then went fuck it and grailed him anyways. If Lakshmi is the reason I started playing FGO, Emiya is the reason I started liking the Fate series in general. He was my tutorial pull and also carried me thorugh a lot of early game conent. In fact I somehow managed to beat the entirety of GudaGuda 4 with a really underleveled Emiya and Kagetora lol.
Lvl100 Kagetora: I started playing FGO about 1 month before Gudaguda 4 arrived on NA and I didn't had much gold servants to work with and that was when Kagetora arrived, she was clutch in so many battles and now that I have Castoria she's even more insane, I mainly grailed her cause she's my favorite Saber face and I love her crazy personality, some can call it crazy but I think it's hot asf and it fits her character so I end up falling in love with her.
Lvl100 Mordred: before playing FGO I watched Apoc about 4 months ago and I immediately liked her personality, I'm biased towards tomboys and Mordred is of no exception, her character, personality, design and her lore, I love them all so when she was on rate up for the Camelot banner I was already willing to spend everything for her but she came to me on a rainbow spin with just 1 ticket so I already knew that I was gonna grail her to 100
Lvl100 Da Vinci(Rider): what can I say, none of the stuff that chaldea has achieved wouldn't have been possible without her help, she's a fun character and she's super cute and adorable, I wasn't planning to grail her but I gave it some thought and said why not grail her? so I end up grailing her as well.
Level 100 Castoria: without getting into spoilers of LB6, this is by far my favorite Artoria of them all and no other ones comes close to how amazing she is imo, she has the best personality of all the Artorias and after reading through LB6 I already knew that when I got her on NA she was going to get grailed instantly.

Lvl 90 Bedivere - Camelot wasn't a great chapter to me imo, but Bedivere's story absolutely got to me
Lvl 90 Inshun - I really liked his playstyle and design! I don't use him much anymore but I don't regret grailing him
Lvl 90 Blackbeard - I know its common to hate on his fans, but I really liked the concept of his character! Subverting his scare tactics and updating it to the modern age, it absolutely made sense that he would be an otaku
Lvl 100 Ashwathhama - When I started playing FGO on NA, JP was going through LB4 and Ash was one of the first servants I saw as a result. I really loved his aesthetic and the character from the start, plus I'm Indian so it felt like I had to absolutely grail him, he absolutely shreds through any saber enemy these days
Lvl 100 Kama - Similar reasons to Ash! Ooku just made me love her even more! She's even NP2 now!
Lvl 100 Kiara - She was my very first SSR and helped me a lot in early game, so I grailed her to thank her for showing up
Lvl 100 Hokusai (both ver) - I really connected with Hokusai as an aspiring artist, and her SSR version came to me thrice in less than two total multis, so I absolutely fell in love with her for that! Not to mention her animations are genuinely gorgeous
Lvl 100 Helena - I didn't know of her character and her involvement with Holmes until late into the game, but now I really really love her. I hope to get and grail her Archer form as well
Lvl 102 Holmes (will go to 120) - the main reason why I got into Fate in the first place. Something about his design was so striking to me and the more I got into the story I realised how interesting his character was. Still have so much love for the character and I'm so glad I finally got him after two years of failure
People don't like hearing it but FGO's Blackbeard is the most relatable character to 90% of the players

Consort Yu ( Yu mei ren, paisen, gucchan, gubijin) ** LB3 Spoilers**
First of all I really like her Crypter design , even before knowing her real identity. Most people like her because of her overly-sexualized design ( 2nd and 3rd ascensions, The new 5 star CE and such) But I never really be fond of her because of her sexy looks. When I read her story, and her past, I sympathize with her. Lots of people hated her because she's a bitch and always nagging/ complaining ( hence the NP name "Eternal Lament" ) But I found that justified. She cannot die and have to watch all her loved ones/ closest friends die one by one to the point that she is left alone. And then she was hunted by humans for centuries because they marked her as a "vampire" ( which she really isnt), to the point that her personality changes from a cheerful person to a tired,lonely, regretful woman. She wants to end her life but she refuses because she wants to be the one who carries her husband story along over the history so no one would tarnish/ remake it. So I'll make sure she will never feel like she's alone in the world again ; Already 120 NP5 2k fou'd her , and has her husband summoned to be with her, and with her closest retainer Lan Ling. Hope y'all reading this be interested in her story more and not just straight up misunderstood her like lots of people, cheers! - Cara

My grailed servants have for the most part been ones that I either loved their design, their backstory or both.
The ones that come to mind are Jeanne, Baobhan Sith, Melusine and Mandricardo .
I actually started FGO when random youtube videos popped up showing Jeanne as a playable character, when I finally got her I enjoyed learning more about her from her interludes and how regardless of how badly the people treated her in life and branded her a witch she never once regretted her decisions and remained resolute.
Baobhan Sith and Melusine are in the same boat, I have a thing for tragic characters. Both devoted their lives to the one they loved and while the way it ended was depressing they had a chance to start again once they were summoned to chaldea.
As for Mandricardo: I already liked his gameplay and design, but reading through Atlantis made him best boy in my eyes and I can relate to him in someways. While he doesn't fight for glory or fame he fights for his friends and i think that has more weight, he is currently a lv 120 project in JP.
I grailed beni-enma cause shes not only my first 5 star saber but she came during a rough time in the story

This was genuinely a really interesting idea for a video, I always love hearing why people grail the servants that they end up grailing and this was no exception, I would absolutely love to see a JP version
Thank you so much for this video! Yes, I would love to hear about your JP grails too. As for me? Well, it's a mix between power and love. I won't grail someone I love if that grail won't make me more likely to use them in battle. For example: my first FGO love was Tamamo Caster and grails don't really do anything for her, so I didn't grail her. Here's my grails in order of grailing:
St. George 90: because he's a catholic saint and I wanted a ST Arts Rider for Rashoman raids so I could use Tamamo more. This was a massive mistake. Kintoki Rider came out the next month, and George's NP scaling is garbage. This was before I knew about the Wikis and r/GrandOrder.
Heracles 90: also a mistake. I never use him. I grailed him when I got his Bond CE, but at NP1 those 10 levels don't really do anything for him. I had already moved past the point of needing an anchor.
Kintoki Rider 90: pure power. I've never regretted this one.
Chloe 90: power and love. She's still my best ST Archer, and I could use her with Tamamo too. Chloe is such a sassy little shit and I love her (when the author isn't being creepy).
Arash and Spartacus 70: power. They are just too useful, and 1 grail for 10 levels is too good of a deal for me to pass up.
Welfare BB 90: power and love. She's a ST Arts (see the pattern) Mooncancer with a ton of utility. Plus, I love Sakura.
NP5 Parvati 100: power and love. I love Sakura. Plus, she's an amazing Quick looper. I ended up rolling for Skadi partially to let me use Parvati and Kama more.
Jalter Zerker 90: power and love. She's still my best ST Berserker. I love Jalter's character arc in FGO. While I hate Tsunderes, I really like Jalter.
NP3 Kama 100: Power and LOVE. Sakura Matou is my favorite Fate character period. I empathize with her way too much for comfort (unending pain and despair). Kama is the Sakura-face in FGO who feels most like Sakura to me. Plus, Kama is OP.
Chen Gong 120: Pure, overwhelming power! Finotaisen convinced me to grail him. I haven't regretted it yet. I looped him with double Nero Bride for a year before Castoria came out. Now with Castoria, I can even loop 1/1/X nodes with him. I was planning on him becoming my regular Arts looper until this last one happened.
NP3 Space Ishtar 108: Power and love. I only just grailed her during Scatfest to avoid burning Thousands of 4* Embers using my excess grails. I didn't have enough Chen Gong coins at the time. Spishtar was practically useless to me before Castoria came out. Now I use her everywhere I can. Plus, she'll be amazing for Buster looping next year. I didn't even want her when she came out. I used all of my SQ trying to get NP1 Calamity Jane and failed. I did somehow get NP3 Spishtar though. She's grown on me since then. I love her Nature vs. Nurture backstory. I now think she's the best version of Rin (as I hate Tsunderes).
For the future? Definitely grailing Summer Kama at least to 100. I might grail Van Gogh too. No one else interests me grail-wise. Who knows though? The Koyanskayas might have if they were actually Tamamo. But alas, Tamamo get shafted as always.

Btw, if you want an idea for a video, you could probably do one about recurring characters for Events (like Emiya or Robin), and if they might benefit from grailing.
As for who I grailed and my reasons for doing so:
120 *Jalter* - I already liked Jeanne, but Jalter pushed it over the edge. I like to think the Dragon Witch of Orleans has been freed from her cage and brings hellfire to all the Lost Belts that oppose us. Funny story; when we got the feature to grail past 100, I noticed I was the only person on my friend list to start. Everyone was probably waiting for the new Embers, but by the time I got to 106, it must've broke the resolve of some people, because they started as well lol
100 *Raikou* - Was a big fan of Raita previously, so having an OP AoE Buster at the time was the best choice. Nowadays I still have a Scope on her. Still useful too. (Lancerkou gets 90 if I np2)
90 - *Berserkalot* - Even though I had him at np3, I still took him to 90 for DSS. Absolutely loving it.
90 *Ridertoki* - For a long time, I had no good ST Rider options. Kintoki proved himself time and time again, so it was time to raise him properly among his SSR peers.
100 *Kama* - Admittedly, I'm a Rin > Sakura guy, but when Kama dropped she. ticked. so. so. SO. many. boxes. Turns out, I love collecting Beasts. I'll 120 her if I manage to np5 her.
100 *Gilgamesh* - I was a big fan of Gilgamesh back in the original FSN. Yes, even DeenFSN. Not sure why. I guess while everyone hated him for being a smug asshole, I liked him as a confident self-absorbed guy, who probably had reason to be up his own ass. (And turned out he did lol)
80 *Chen Gong* - Mostly gameplay. Very useful.
80 *Hans Christian Andersen* - He fell off my party for a while after I Bond 10'd him, but I recently picked him up again for a party to deal with challenge quests. Dude is so good. No regrets. He's definitely the sixth of the Tirelessly Support Casters.

The only FGO servant I grailed so far is Heracles.
He was already one of my favorite characters in Fate/stay night and he carried me so hard in the past through the main story that he absolutely deserved it!
The Rin and Sakura faces + Jalter are probably the next characters I will grail!
FGO is actually my first and only expedience wither the fate series(and i've been playing for just under 2 years at this point on NA), So most of my picks are more so based on either in game events, singularities, or just the thematic design of the characters
(TL;DR Kiara to lvl 100, Melt to lvl 100, Protea to lvl 118, Passionlip to lvl 90, Jalter to lvl 110, Summer Jalter to lvl 90, and Summer Houkusai to lvl 90~)
Since i started in January, one of the first banners i rolled on was the New years guaranteed 5 star banner and, by chance, i rolled Kiara; I used her all through out my climb up through the singularities and loved the Nun and tentacle theming, despite how evil she is she is where my love of Alter-egos started so I knew i had to give her the lvl 100 grail treatment...
The reason I was rushing as well was that in a few months after I began there was apparently an event with a cute purple haired girl as the welfare servant, I ground out all of the singularities and beat Goteia in time to get the event unlocked... and despite my original want to just get one cute purple haired servant i ended up with 4 of them~
As soon as i saw the Banner for Passion lip i was all in, but despite my goal i ended up with 2 copies of Melt, and boy was that a blessing in disguise, as I progressed the event i became more and more interested in Melt, I am an absolute sucker for a good Tsundere, and Melt is a great one, stylish, confident, and despite what she tries to make you think, a heart of gold She was an easy pick for lvl 100 and i've already got her Bond high enough to go for 120 once i have the grails to do it
Back to Passionlip, I still absolutely love her design but she dodged me on the banner so incredibly hard I managed to get only a single copy of her after over 1000+ Quartz, She fell slightly by the way-side but I still made sure to atleast semi grail her up to level 90
The biggest (in a literal sense) surprise for me in the Banner more than the event was Protea, I LOVE giantess, and as soon as i saw her I knew i had to roll for her, not only did she have a super cute personality but also the 2nd highest attack stat ( at the time) in the game, I'm a Buster, big number dmg lover as well, and I kept Protea on my team continuously ever since i pulled her, only finding more and more out about her and wanting to pamper her all the more, She is currently level 118, Bond 13, and Alll Maxed on gold Fous, and as soon as she hits Bond 14 I'll have enough of her coins to instantly get her to level 120, She deserves only the biggest and best after all~
A bit of a rewind back to my nearly 2 month grind of daily 7-Singularity sprint to make it to the CCC event, The one character I had seen before starting FGO that i was actually interested in was Jeanne D'arc, I've always been really interested in her even outside of the Fate series so i was immediately drawn to her in Orleans.... and then... they introduced her Alter, possibly the most evil version of her.... I was torn, but I kept both of them in mind cut to Shinjuku when we get to see her re summoned and damn, i fell immediately, possibly the mother of all Tsundere, I rolled on every one of her Banners more than I'd like to count until I finally pulled her earlier this year, and She is already Bond 10, Level 110, heading up to 120 as soon as more grails are available she's also my second gold Fou candidate sitting around +1800 in each
Speaking of Jalter, When the Summer manga event came out I was super excited, and the event didn't disappoint on giving me more cute Jalter, also really making her more laid back but still just as Tsun, I grailed her to level 90 before the event even ended, she's on my short list of servants in consideration for level 100 as she is just a great servant and I always use her~
And lastly as an Artist and lover of Houkusai, I leveled her summer saber form to level 90 to match her foreigner version~
Lv.100 Cu Chulainn: At first it's because if his Protection of The Arrows, but overtime, he's just cool buddy that you can hangout with.

Jalter summer: she was one of my first wellfare servants and she helped me a lot with her berserker class, I also really adore Jalter herself, her history, development over the years and moments in events
Elizabeth: she was my first sr in the whole game and she has been helping me for many years, also she is very funny in halloween events
Tomoe gozen: Similar to Eli was my second sr, a samurai woman who is part Oni is such a bizarre concept but at the same time interesting that I end up loving it, I love her ascensions and her VA (every time I hear her NP I can't help it laugh) also her story makes me very moving (it still hurts not having gotten his summer version)
Hercules: I love his story with Illya in FSN, he has been helping me since I started in this game as he was one of my first servants, thanks to him I have defeated many complicated bosses from the beginning, so I appreciate him
BB: Every time she appears in an event is so funny and interesting, her NP animation is one of my favorites because of how random it is, and that she has a class dedicated to her seems like a very good idea and I love her personality ( I like bad girls)
Gorgon: I love mean girls, I love giant girls, I love medusa, I love her interludes, I love her fan art, I have nothing more to say
Passionlip: Her whole existence makes me a little sad, I don't know why, that she is the most forgotten by the fans, her dialogues, that she is the only sr among her sisters, etc. So I decided to give her all the love I could
Jason: her participation in Atlantis was sublime and she is another Hercules fanboy, I don't need more
Mandricardo: The one who undoubtedly deserves the position of best friend of the protagonist, that he himself is aware that he is not a very important character and that is why I have quite little self-esteem seems to me the best thing they could do, and his sacrifice in Atlantis It is spectacular

Lv 100 Yagyu: I liked him in Shimousa and his NP and animations are simple but cool.
Lv 100 Enkidu: My first SSR. Carried me through a lot of content and solos very well. Best Clay.
Lv 100 Fujino: I liked her in Kara no Kyoukai and liked her even more in Summer 5. Hits like truck especially with Merlin.
Lv 100 Kiara: Because Ara-ara. And with Castoria she makes farming Cavalry Units a breeze.
Lv 100 Rider Kintoki: One of the best free SRs to exist and my very first welfare. Carried me through a lot of content in the game as well.
Lv 90 Caster Shuten: I like Raita's art and since I couldn't get her Assasin version, I went with her. My first decent ST Caster as well.
Lv 90 Nobunaga Berserker: Who doesn't like Nobu? Rock n' Roll! She reminds me of Shana because of the red hair.
Lv 80 Arash: For farming purposes. Most likely to be my first Bond 15. Sorry, Arash. You're still cool though.
Lv 80 Spartacus: For Farming purposes. Liberate the enemies and bring me the mats!

My grailed servants start with Amakusa as he's the servant I started the game for this year and he has been one of the servants that has carried me throughout story, 2nd wud be Bedivere cuz loved his character soo much from Camelot (I have yet to np5 him tho..)
And last wud be Okitan and she's my #1 waifu on fgo as well, I fell in love with her when I saw her epic, badass and funny np animations and her character design is sooo lit
She's the servant that I saved soo much f2p sqs for....600 lol and from Solomon to Olympus she has helped me out a ton with my battles against Cavalry foes
damn, you deserve a special place in my heart for shinsengumi, love you so much
I grailed Saito to Lv 100 because I really like his character. carefree but in battle really can fuck you up personality. his design is literally a suit and katanas and I like the simplicity (dashing suit).
Asvatthaman is grailed to Lv 90 because I like his hot wheelies and good buster crits. What got me more affectionate for his character is definitely his valentine CE, and his bond lines. He's a real homie
I've got a decent amount of grailed 100 servants and I'll start with the more important ones to me. I first started noticing FGO characters from pixiv and was fascinated from the Rin lookalikes in Ishtar and Ereshkigal as well as other characters like Stheno and Euryale. These 4 characters motivated me to try out FGO since I really like twintailed characters and I really liked Rin even though I wasn't a big Fate fan at the time and didn't even watch UBW as the only Fate related thing I watched was Fate/Zero. So when I started playing FGO I was able to get Stheno and Euryale from the start, Euryale came from my tutorial summon and I got Stheno from a 5* ticket which they were giving out at the time. (don't regret it) and I've got both of them grailed to 90.
So Ishtar wasn't really out yet when I started playing so I was saving a bit for her but it wasn't much because I was spending quartz carelessly as a new player and I failed to get her on her first rate up. Luckily she had another rate up in May 2019 and I was able to get her despite not having that many quartz and she was my very first SSR I ever had after playing for like a year. Later that year I saved so much for Ereshkigal and was able to get her too with no problems. Love both Ishtar and Ereshkigal equally and have them grailed to 100 and even fou'd to 2000.
Now Space Ishtar is definitely my favorite servant in the game, I love her for the same reasons as Ishtar and Eresh but what's best about her is that she is 3 Rin faces in 1 servant so she's also grailed to 100 and fou'd to 2000, she's the only one I also tried to NP2 and did so successfully.
Now some other servants I love that I grailed. Bradamante and Sei Shonagon I have grailed to 100 because they are both really cute and I love twintails. I don't really mind that I already have SSR AOE Archer/Lancers grailed, they just deserve them too.
Last 2 servants I'll mention that I've got grailed to 100 are Musashi and Caster Illya. I really love both of them as characters and they were such a struggle to get for me. When I tried for Musashi I kept getting spooked by 4* sabers and I tried for 3 weeks on her last rate up with free quartz and I was finally able to get her on the last week and was so happy. Illya had a surprise rate up recently and I was able to get her was so happy about that too since I tried for her on Miyu's first rate up but failed. She is just one of the cutest Fate characters and I grailed her immediately and fou'd her to 2000 too since I was saving them for so long with not knowing who to use them on. I started watching Fate/Kaleid out of celebration since I was listening to the first OP while summoning as a catalyst and it's a cute anime.
So yeah those are my favorite servants, I'll say some honorable mentions too. Helena 90 because I use her a lot, she's cute and I got her past Bond 10. Kiyohime 80 because she was my only berserker I used for the longest time and took a long time to get a SR zerk. Rider Ishtar 100 because Ishtar and Archer Illya because Illya.
Lv 100 (Working on 120) Valkyrie: Main reason is because my favourite RPG when I was a kid was Valkyrie profile and while the 3 sisters are very different from the ones in that game I still love and appreciate them in the same way.
Level 100 Paris: Simple answer he looks just so comfy with all dem sheep, and honestly if they were gonna turn anybody into a Shota I am glad they did Paris.
Level 100 Tomoe Gozen: I love the way she looks, and the idea of an archer with fire arrows is just awesome.
Level 100 BB: Fate extra CCC had me bawling my eyes out for her, she really makes the Sakura faces the superior ones
Level 70 Hans: Best support and most gigachad character in fate but need more QP to grail him further.
Alright then here's my Grailed and lesser grailed servants.
-Lvl.90 Nagao Kagetora: she was my absolute reason to download and finally getting into FGO. Mainly because I really love the history of the Warring States Era and knowing Kenshin is in the game as a welfare sold me instantly. And also her maniacal laughter got me catching feelings.
-Lvl.80 Euryale: She absolutely carried me in my earlier days especially in GilFest and Camelot (R.I.P Gawain) so I decided to reward her divine deeds with a golden border on her portrait.
-Lvl.80 Bedivere: I gave him a golden border for the simple fact of knowing that all this time during Camelot what he's carrying as his arm was NOT in fact Airgetlám, plus knowing he was still *living* and not a servant made me like him a lot. Not as renown as the other members of the Round Table, but definitely the one with the kindest heart.
-Lvl.100 Da Vinci (Rider): She's my first ever SSR and the one I'm most confused as why is there a loli version of her. That was during before I finished part 1 so I kept her at 80/90 right up just before the Lostbelt Prologue. After going through it, I felt devastated. Then I decided to grail because I finally know why she exists. And she's also absolutely precious and her smile is just an absolute sunshine.
lv 100 martha(2k fou), she was my first SR outside the tutorial pool and i fell for her at first sight, and saori is just my favorite VA of all time, and i love this type of female character who fights with their fists, like tifa or luvia herself who uses wrestling moves(mine is lv 90)
lv 100 barghest, i love muscular women and she is just cute AF
lv 100 zenobia, again, i love muscular women and she has great assets
lv 100 demon king(2k fou), i love everything about her, from the voice to the animations, and her np line........... she was since her release my most desired SSR, and she looks tall, i love tall women also
lv 100 Altera, i just love her since i played extella
lv 100 summer kiara(2k fou), i like both kiaras but i never got the alter ego form, and her VA is awesome

Great video Myst! Was looking forward to this. Regarding Okita, I initially didn't think much of her. A cool Artoria clone samurai, but thanks to multiple GUDAGUDAs, namely GUDA5(enter: Saito Hajime) now I think she's great! And her interlude got adapted into a one shot manga so I find her to be such a great character, if I had more copies, she'd definitely be a grail candidate. GUDA5 struck and I'll be first to admit that I wanted Hajime because he was super attractive to me. The simplicity of a suit and swords is just really appealing(that appeal is still apparent with my other grailed Servants) But then I read more into him and his real life counterpart. His #1 motto to live is something I personally align with. Being both flexible externally and true to his own beliefs internally is really inspiring. And despite watching those close to him be killed or died, Hajime held strong and weathered that storm called life all the way to the end. He'll be 100 soon (I just need one last copy). I'm curious why he isn't one of your grailed units.
Enkidu, Ashvattama, Dantes and Kotaro are all Lvl100 too.
First grailed Space Ishtar because she was my first ssr. Other level 100 servants are Super Orion and ROMA. My goal is to get every grand servant and level them to 100, except for the self-proclaimed grand caster candidates.
My three Level 100s are Elizabeth, Beni, and Maou Nobunaga, who are my top three favorite characters across all of Fate.
- I already love regular Nobunaga (both Archer and Berserker are leveled to 90), but Maou is just supremely badass and honestly the dream wife. Tall, redhead, confident, metal-as-hell NP with the giant skeleton, with still those Gudaguda quirks that make her just a tinge comedic amidst so much badassery.
- Beni-Enma is number #1 FGO daughter. The moment she was revealed in JP, with art by Takehito Harada (character artist for Disgaea and The Witch and Hundred Knight, the latter being one of my favorite games ever) and VA'd by Misaki Kuno (voice actress for other supreme adorable characters like Kate from Zvezda Plot and Kurumi from LycoReco), I knew she was an instant want. She's a redhead, she's linked to a lot of other characters I like such as Osakibehime and Kiyohime, she likes and makes good food, and the story from her event almost made me cry.
- Elizabeth is Fate to me. I had seen Zero and UBW and I liked them fine, but then I played Extella, where Liz plays an antagonistic role for basically the whole game. She was always bullied, made fun of, underestimated, given so much bad luck - yet she remains feisty, optimistic, upbeat, and mischievous despite all that. It resonated with me during a time where I was with some not-so-great friends and felt similarly down and ridiculed like Liz. I connected so much with Liz and she's seriously one of my favorite fictional characters ever. She's a goofy dragon/vampire idol with multiple forms and outfits, she's intrinsically linked with Halloween which is my favorite holiday, Rumi Okubo's performance is always fantastic, she's linked to Carmilla who's ANOTHER one of my top favorites from FGO, I have so much merch of her from statues to artwork to pins and chains; she's up to Bond 12 as of writing this and the only reason I haven't 120'd her yet is because I'm not sure I have enough coins (and I need EXP for my hopeful fourth inductee to the lvl 100 club, Van Gogh, later this month lol)

My grails on NA are Saber, Okita, MHX, both Ryougi Shiki versions, Fujino, Kagetora, Medusa and Gorgon
MHX, I grailed on the account of her being my first ever SSR on my current account and I found her insanely adorable.
Saber was as a result of me getting into Fate/stay night and falling in love with her character. I can still comfortably say that Saber is my favorite Fate character in general with Shirou being a close second.
Okita was quite an impulsive grail choice, but I do not regret it as I really enjoy Okita's character and if we were to count my lost account, she was my first SSR in this game in general.
Ryougi Shiki is my favorite fictional character of all time and a character I heavily relate to on multiple aspects.
I plan to even NP5 and 120 Void Shiki/Saber Shiki at some point down the road, she is currently NP3 so it isn't too far away.
Kagetora was also quite impulsive but I really enjoy her character so no regrets there.
Medusa and Gorgon I'll admit were mostly due to appearence but I really do think Rider's wish to become shorter is relatable as I am a tall woman myself and often wish I was a lot shorter than I am, plus I also think a more monstrous Medusa is a really cool design in general.
Fujino I'll admit, is almost exclusively cause of waifu reasons in all honesty, she is pretty and I really enjoy her character in Kara no Kyoukai (which you all should watch if you haven't, or read if you know Japanese)
My future targets are Izo and three servants not out yet in Tai Gong Wang, Arcueid and Yamanami Keisuke and perhaps even Muramasa.

Lvl. 100 Lobo - Love wolves & best animal servant to date.
Lvl. 100 Red Hare - Animal love. Lu Bu's mount + animation and aesthetics were badass to the max.
Lvl. 100 Nezha - Nationalism + Waifu reasons. Journey To The West is also one of my all time favorite series. Patiently awaiting Wukong (genderbent or not)
Lvl. 100 Kiara - Waifu reason. Love the gaudiness from her. Matches my libido.
Lvl. 100 Scheherazade - Waifu reason. Aesthetics + personality (the "more suited for your bedchamber" line sealed the deal). Farming is just a bonus.
Lvl. 100 Raikou (Zerk) - Waifu reason. My first SSR and carried me throughout the entirety of the game. Aesthetics were badass + lore was great.
Lvl. 90 EMIYA - The G.O.A.T. archer in the entirety of the Fate verses. Maxed NP, skills, & append skills. Probably won't make it to Lvl. 100 due to waifu prioritization.
Lvl. 90 Tomoe (Archer) - Waifu reason. Aesthetics are great (side boob on Ascension 3 sealed the deal) + animations & lore. Great ST unit as well.
Lvl. 90 Qin Liangyu - Waifu reason. She is one of the top waifus, IMO. Aesthetics are wonderful. Character itself is very fun to play with. Also, nationalism.
Lvl. 90 Heracles - Couldn't stand DW's mistake of making such a top tier servant a mere SR, so I rectified their mistake. Mine also has its Bond CE.
No Lvl. 120s yet. Awaiting Barghest & Zenobia.

120 jack, my favorite servant from apocrypha and all time. Also my first 120 servant I went for
120 melusine. Waifu reason and character designed checked off all my favorite designs in servant like white hair and some other features
100 summer kama. Really wanted normal kama and didn't have her at the time so when I got summer decided to grail her in her place.
100 Penthesila. Another character I liked a lot in design and also learned to really like a lot just from gin moku old comics which featured her a lot.
100 Original and Summer Tomoe. Tomoe was my first servant I fell in love with that wasn't from the fate anime and the reason I wanted to play the game was to get her. Love her design and really liked all the oni servants and I pretty much grailed any summer servant if I grailed their original.
100 Original and Summer Erice. Thought her original was really cute and didn't know much of requiem so her event was what got me interested into it and in the end made me really like her. Also has one of the funniest valentines chocolate scene.
100 Original and Summer Ibuki. Omega thicc and I love my onis
100 Dioscuri. Really liked their designs and the concept of Pollux being the Saber and Castor being an Avenger. I was also of the minority who actually like Castor even with him being an ass and Polux is a cutie.
Level 100 Summer Melt. The only servant I have the least attachment to as I grailed her because my friends in discord chose that grial for me

I didn't read that much interlude tbh...
I mainly chose for their design, personality and gameplay...
And yes, I grailed my first 5* servant.
And since i kinda come and go when playing fgo, i didnt have king hassan. There are also times that i lost my account and didnt know about recov I lost few of my accounts. And now, still waiting for his comeback... Also summer Fran!
I got into Fate with Fate/Zero many years before FGO came out, but I loved Zerkalot’s design and battle scenes. When he started to carry me in FGO, I grailed him to 90, and I’ve committed to get him to 100 once I have the 5th copy.
Both Kamas, both Koyanskayas, Jacques, and Hokusai are grailed/will be grailed to 100 for waifu purposes (I love EVIL and tentacles)
I also got into Fate through Fate/Zero. I enjoyed Zerkalot in Zero and FGO.
I wouldn't be surprised if majority got into fate thanks to F/Zero. Nasu fans hate Urobutcher, but he's one of my favorite writer, and Fate/Zero is my easy top 3 anime.

I Grailed up Arthur because I loved his story and Fate/Prototype. As well being different from Artoria in many ways.
Mandricardo(104) looked cool. Then he became our friend, then he died heroically but tragically. It was love (why doesn’t he have any good merch)
Bedivere(100) was just cool, and while I’m less attached once I realised he would always put artoria first, I do still love him. His story is amazing in Camalot.
Merlin and Castoria (94) I wanted friendpoints
Jeanne,Jalter, and Raikou (92) my trifecta of strength, these ladies were my core team for a very long time.
BB (90) I wanted that single target moon cancer and 90 fitted in with Melt and Jalter
Izo, Robin, Cu lancer and caster, I liked the characters a lot, and future proofing for next year
Okita was the first SSR I drew, during the first Gudaguda event year 1. In NA, our first GSSR banner happened during thanksgiving instead of xmas and so, unlike JP, the first NA GSSR overlapped Gudaguda and included Okita in it, and so I didn't pull for her on purpose, but she was a lucky catch that became my offensive powerhouse early in the game. It became tradition, then, to throw for a copy of her every Gudaguda, and as of Gudaguda 5 a month ago I''m now the proud owner of an NP5 grailed 100 Okita.
Scathach came out shortly thereafter, and I loved and still love her design. She is the second servant I grailed, and also got to NP5. As a big Jeanne D'Arc fan, JAlter and JArcher are also grailed to 100, and also both NP5.
Those four currently complete my grail collection, I like to keep some set aside for a rainy day. When buster meta comes back, I may grail my NP5 OG Saber.
for me i have a similar experience like you had with okita, i discovered FGO because i saw a Tomoe Gozen Fanart and i loved her design at first sight, so one day i manage to buy a decent smartphone i did remember that fanart, so i decided to install fgo and see how its the game. After a couple of months, Tomoe got a rate up at the start of this year, and i rolled all i have for her, got her np2 and i didnt regret anything, i loved her and i love her even more now after shimousa and seeing her summer version on the summer event
Lvl 100 Circe: Her tale was actually the one that introduced me to mythology, and she was one of the first mythological figures I checked if they were in Fate.
Lvl 100 Nyalter: She carried me through most of part 1, I like her design more than the originals and she is a good berserker. Also the cat girl thing maybe affected my choice a little.
Lvl 100 Maou Nobu: Normally I dont really like genderbent characters, but she is just so cool and hot that she broke my bias against them.
Lvl 98 Osakabehime: She was my first 5 star in the game, she carried me through some hard rider fights and I love the silly and flustered personality. Also her valentine is so underrated.
Lvl 100 Kiyohime: she was one of the characters that convinced me to play the game, she was my main farmer at the start, I kinda like the yandere thing in some cases and shes a berserker.
Next I’ll propably grail Astraea because she is the closest thing to a finnish servant that we currently have + I just really like the drills.
The first servant I grailed and like his story in the gameplay and overall personality is Fergus. After this I was kinda lost what to do with grails so I decided to do a one star, two star four star and Five star. I decided to go with, like Fergus, the beefiest guy I had in each class. This led to Asterios, Sanson, Napoleon(who I also really like personality wise) and Beowulf. I then decided to try for each class, and am currently working on the Chinese emperor guy.
I grailed waver because I like him a lot in zero and case files and he was my first ssr
The sole reason why I grailed Okita was simply because I was fond of the Shinsengumi. There is this goal of mine that I would complete the Shinsengumi roster as much a possible.
Okita: I grailed Okita not because of meta, but because I love her character itself.
Nagao: The reason I grailed Nagao was her design

Izou: I am also fond of how Izou executes his swift yet deadly attacks, animation is quite fantastic

Dantes - He was one of my first 5*s, and the edgy appealed to my inner chunni.
Nero Bride - Another earlier 5* in my collection, and while Nero is one of my favourite characters, OG is fixated on Hakuno, while Bride is _yours._ Top Waifu.
Gilgamesh - The Golden Ego, NP2 the first banner I rolled him on, and he's just cool. And NP5 #1.
Abby - I liked her character in Salem, and her interlude.
Sitonai - She's Ilya, best girl of FSN (fight me), and my second NP5 SSR.
Kama - Best Assassin, and I'm going to grail someone from every class eventually.
Da Vinci Lily - I like her character in the Lostbelts, her kit, and that she's NP3.
Musashi Berserker - Fun, irreverent, and she can loop.
Space Ishtar - I really liked her in Saber Wars II, and she's NP3. (and level 102)

Lancelot - probably the only regret, grailed for gameplay, didn't even land Skadi.
Nitocris - character grail, doesn't hurt that she farms well.
Surfdred - Fun, and looped really, really well.
Martha (Ruler) - One Punch Saint, that is also a Jojo's reference.

Arash, 70 - One part Camelot, one part Stella!
Waver, 92 - Bit of a dirty grail, but he got it for being the first Bond 10.
Jackie, 92 - I literally said, as a roll catalyst, If she shows up, she gets a grail. She did.
Ereshkigal, 92 - Was going to be my Lancer 100 candidate, then Melusine got announced, so indecision paralysis.
**Future Plans**
Melusine to 100, assuming she shows up at all.
One of the Casters to 100, at the moment I'm leaning toward summer Nero, but grails are in short supply. Might see how much fun Izumo-no-Okuni is first.
Might give some to Koyanskaya too.

While none of the Rulers have captured my fascination yet, I can see Caren getting a few grails, if she comes early and often.

Abby: Lv 100 because she is an eldritch foreigner and because of her story in Salem, her interlude, and her Valentine chocolate seen with Geronimo.
Hokusai: Lv 100 because eldritch foreigner and I just think they are generally pretty funny.
Astrea: Lv 100 because I like the rich, arrogant, blonde lady troupe in anime and Luvia's over all lore and character in the Nasuverse.
Tamamo Cat: Lv 90 because she was my first gold servant in the game and I just love the lore of the Tamamo Nine.
On NA I plan to grail

Sei and Murasaki to Lv 100 because I had to do a project on them and used them for it and just researching them a bit and learning more about them was amazing and I just love how their designs compliment each other even though they were designed by to different illustrators. (I'm just out of QP for these two)

Sen to Lv 100 because they are a very weird and scary servant

Scáthach was my second Five Star, right after Okita, but I was in love with Celtic Mythology, so she's sitting at NP3 Level 100. Slowly getting the last append skill and 120.
Level 94 Medea, currently. Favorite character from Greek Mythology, being one of the few Women who isn't just known for birthing a hero or dying horribly. She's the reason I found out about Fate, since my friend recognized her name in my insane ramblings. Plus I've seen people Grail Jason, and that sleight requires balance.
Possible Grail projects:
Artemis/Orion: Similar to Medea. Artemis is my favorite Greek God and I was named after Orion, being my middle name. I'd do it out of spite to people telling me I should've picked up Waver or that I could just use Euryale/Summon for Grand Orion.
Enkidu: While I already have Scáthach, I fell in love with Enkidu, his simple design, personality and straight up being a weapon.
If they ever drop a Sun Wukong, that's an immediate save for 2+ years and Grail. I read Journey to the West in Chinese and fell in love with the stupid monkey.
Grailed Jekyll to 90 for the bishie even though he's not very good (it's hard to not want to take him to 120) ✊😔

My first ever grailed servant was Semiramis bcs of Apocrypha. Also BCS she came out waaay before ishtar or Eresh. However I stopped after getting to 96. Then Eresh came and I read Babylonia chapter. Brought her up to 92. Then for while I don't think I grailed anyone else. And then I played CCC event and fell in love with Melt. Didnt grail her tho, but when her summer event came along, I 100-ed her lancer ver. My first lvl 100. Then I got Space Ishtar and left her at 90, until LB6 dropped on JP and everyone and their grandmas know of Castoria, so second lvl 100 instantly. Also BCS I absolutely love Astarte, her design just god tier for me. AND THEN LB6 part 2 dropped, bringing Melusine. This is when I said enough wait is enough and jumped on the JP bandwagon. Got 2 copies of Meluko with 90sq and used the insta 90 feature to up her straight to 90, and a week or two later, she became my third ever Lvl 100. A few months back, after the long ass journey to collect embers, Melusine became my FIRST ever LVL120 servant, and NP3 now cause got one more copy with 30sq on her rerun . Then, just with the recent JP event, with the last node being such a pain in the arse, and how Baobhan was really putting in work (and previous affection for her as well), she became my 4th grailed servant to lvl 100.
This was a great video! So far, I’ve grailed Ushi to 100; I love her so much! There are others I want to grail but haven’t yet. I’m pretty stingy with grails.
Being stingy with grails is totally sensible, gotta make sure you wanna do it.

Lv. 110 Yang Guifei - she blessed me with EX luck in every banner she's in, now NP6 with the IS pre-event campaign. Might as well make her 120 right there(I'm F2P so getting a 5* Servant to NP5 is almost unreal, so grailing them to the maximum stats would be a great compliment for them).
I was sulking for over a year, because I was reading the story and I loved Dantes very much specially in Solomon, Lostbelts, KnK, and his Prison Tower event, I did 300 rolls of saved tickets and qz but failed horribly, around 600+ qz and 100+ tix even though I got him in 3 tix in JP and he was my farmer for years in JP
I was barely playing the game because I couldnt farm well, that was until I decided to just raise my Zerklot, since he was np2, I grailed him, traded SR tix for his dupe, got a copy of him from spook. He is now retired and at bond 13.
I finally came back and started reading and enjoying the game again after getting Godjuna in 20 rolls, caught up with the interludes, lostbelts ,events, and stuff.

Jing Ke - always thought she was cool and had a fun kit. I really enjoyed her role in LB3 as she’s the sole reason we had a fighting chance against the Emperor
Bloodaxe - my go to aoe Zerk for a long time as other options were a little too weak or too frail to use. The dynamic between him and his wife seems really fun and I wished that was explored more (also buffs for Bloodaxe pls)
Bart - has become one of my options farming caster waves and doors due to cheap cost and good damage even against non bronze enemies. Very silly man that means well… most of the time, tho he is a man of good taste
Helena - Waver May be one of first 5 stars, but Helena helps feel my need of a caster who can support and do damage. Pretty fun character and cute. Glad she has gotten a nice buff and hope she gets more eventually.
Melt - I am of many Waifus, but Melt is on the top for sure. Gorgeous design, really good kit, fun to use, CCC event was an amazing character arc for her. I just love her man. Probably one of my candidates for who’s going to be my first lvl 120 servant.
Mata Hari to a 100 because she deserves better and I love her, Penth to a 100 because she spooked me to NP5 back when I was still f2p and wanted to honor her persistance, Castoria because I find her adorable, Wu to 90 because she was my 1st gold assassin (casually shoves Stheno to the 2nd archive) Chloe to 90 because a friend's Chloe carried me through that one Solomon fight where he just SPAMS HIS EVADE
I also want to comment I also really liked Hijikata because of his interlude, I was disappointed at first when I got him from a GSSR but her really grew on me. I swear I gotta slow down his NP every time because him yelling "SHINSENGUMI DAAA" is so badass.
Not gone lie, got him last year for the new years gssr. I was lowkey hurt and didn’t level him because at the time I was still trying to get one 5* for every class and didn’t want it to be him. But his running screaming SHIN SEN GUMI DAAAA!!! It time with his attacks won me.
-Gorgon 120 because of how much i love Medusa , why not Medusa you might ask . Well im a big mythologie and history fan and the Avenger version is the closest to the Myth

-Both Shiki are grailed because of KnK , i simply loved the movie
-I love Da Vinci , both of them . I love what they represent for us in the FGO story .
-Eresh is just precious , and i quite love her design
-Most people would grail Kama for waifu ,which is totally understandable she does be sexy , i grailed her because she is one of the closest to Sakura of the Sakura face . (Medusa/Sakura one of the best servant/master duo)
-I always was planning to grail Jeanne (french pride ,Maaya and she simply is a very nice character) , the game design to grace me with a high NP Jarcher so she is the first of the 2 to get grailed (OG will get 100 as well at some points)
-As for Bryn , i originally only rolled for her to support Gorgon, but the more i saw her in story (LB2, Da Vinci event , summer 5) , the more i learned to like her . It also help that Noto Mamiko voice is smooth as silk , honey to the ears
-finally my only non 100 , Herk , he got me into Fate and FGO , i had to do it (he will also get 100 at some point)
I grailed Minamoto no Raikou (berserker) because she is waifu. But seriously, when I first started playing FGO in 2019, most of the berserker support are Raikou. So used her a lot and I love her for carrying me in the story. Plus, she is my first NP5 Five star servant.

Old Hassan, Hijikata, Old Li are grailed. I mean, these guys are pretty much what I would call "role models" for me. Not in the sense of idolization or anything, but more of being able to relate to their held values.
Anastasia is the most "waifu" reason of my grailing, my only waifu in all Fate lore, and probably also the most complicated. Anastasia is one of the youngest, if NOT the youngest "real person" servant in Fate lore which makes her story more concrete and tragic, as it's the kind of story that's separated from any kind of historical mysticism. If anyone remembers the movie Anastasia released by Fox in '97, this was my first introduction to the character of Anastasia Romanov. Initially, I thought it was just a story until years later in which I learned that the movie was based on the "what if" rumors that Anastasia did survive the killing of her family. It was through this that I learned about her family's history, their deeds, and the factors that led to the civil war and the family's deaths. As someone who lost family at an impressionable age, I couldn't imagine dying at such a young age(the sisters were 22, 21, 19, and 17; the brother was 13 when they were all killed) and I've always wanted to imagine a world in which Anastasia would have been able to live her life fully instead. This also makes it as to why I was so happy seeing her smile in her Summer version(despite me really not liking the ascension 3 for being too "fanservice-y") as that might be just the kind of smile that was taken by their murder. I will get her Summer version in NA though and will grail it as well.
tl;dr: Old Hassan, Hijikata, Old Li grails because I can relate to their values. Anastasia is waifu beyond Fate media, and grailed because of the tragedy of her life and wishing she could live a full life that was taken from her.
lvl 100 Enkidu
I loved Enkidu since I first saw them in the anime. The story in-game made me more invested. Also their VA. KobaYuu is one of my favourite voice actress, so I was very happy when I heard her voice in the anime.
Also working to grail Gilgamesh atm. These two and their story together just made me more interested to research the Epic of Gilgamesh and read about it.
Other characters I want to grail in the future are Nobunaga and Okita. I love their over-all designs and interactions together.
I got Nagiko-chan in a few rolls even thought I wasn't super interested in her but I ended really liking her, yet I didn't really had the intention to grail her at first, but what really changed my mind was her ridiculously cute and really well drawn 4th ascension art (and the thighs helped too). It's one of my favorite art pieces in the game, maybe my 1# favorite
My two carmillas are grailed because i just love her alot. I find her character very interesting and her valentine's scene, especially her summer version, made me fall in love with her.
Sanson, bedivere, and jekyll and hyde are all grailed because i just love Miyano Mamoru. Bedivere, i just love his character and his role in Camelot and I want to learn more about his character. Meanwhile, Sanson, learning more about his character in fgo makes me love him alot. Sanson is my first lvl 120 grail candidate.
I only really have 2 max grailed servants
Maou Nobunaga-one of my favourite historical figures turned into a tall redhead which is so badass to me, she has such a goofy side to her too I just love her to bits man.
Archer Gilgamesh-my very first ssr because i started around the Gssr like 2-3 years ago Gil has single handily carried me through multiple story chapters and events .

1. hijikata - i love him sm and he came home in one ticket on my bday am so grateful to him. rolled for him cos it was my bday and i wanted to test otu bday luck but he grew on me so much through his interlude and voicelines
2. dantes - my edgy phase made him my number one husbando so after all the bloodshed i went through just to get him i had to grail him to lvl 100
3. caenis - i love his blunt and uncouth attitude, i just love his character overall
4. archer emiya - tbh when i first got into fate i didn't really like him but then house husband and just his caring nature just grew on me as i got out of my emo phase so yea
5. godjuna - need i say more?
6. izo - my most recent lvl 100 char actl. the more the story dove into his tragic backstory the more i started to want to give him headpats and the more i wanted to actl use him so grailing it was

Ereshkigal - waifu. Always have a soft spot for servants like her, okita alter, kingprotea who get sad when they realized they’re going to be erased because they’ve been forgotten/ should’t even exist
Tamamo caster - played for a few weeks of summer 1 na got her lancer first ssr. Deleted game. Downloaded game summer 1 rerun got her lancer first ssr second account. Didn’t play for a year but kept game. I wanna grail her lancer and I’m desperately waiting for the fate extra remake to play it.
Kuro - ridiculous damage. Breaks 600k with just bg and one tamamo support. Plus prisma illya story actually gets pretty good after season 1 and 2 imo
Valkyrie - my favorite concept for a servant. Thousands of different bodies all
Combined into a hive mind that works together. I’d love to see more of them in the story and know they appear in summer 7. My favorite is ortlinde because black hair and personality. Voice lines, personalities, np bringing back their other sisters everything is just great.
Okita assassin - i liked okita saber and second ascension is just so cool
Nitocris - thought the damage mattered with her np and she’s really cute

lvl100 Da Vinci Rider: My second SSRs after Castoria, who I both summoned after beginning Camelot. NP2 from the GSSR, replacing my then team comp of just Herc and Mash brawling. Insane upgrade obviously, so I wanted to show some love and also make her a more reliable main offense to rely on.
lvl90 Emiya: My favorite servant of the Fate/ stay night cast, love his theme, his lore, his VA, would smash. Also really good gameplay wise
lvl100 Scathach: my first NP3 SSR out of 10ish tickets and a few multis. I love her motherly & strict but hilarious personality, also bunny costume 😩💦. Oh and she fucks up bosses obviously
lvl90 CasCu in progress: my personal favorite out of all the Cus, also best buster looper so I figured I grail him
I grailed tamamo caster and tama cat to 100+ because I love tamamo she's my favorite. Outside of that, i grailed Jeanne Alter Beserker to 94 because I loved summer 3 a ton.
After that, you get into "I like these servants" and "for gameplay?" Servants.
For gameplay servants are basically:
Herc, lancelot, Arash, Cheng gong. Only 2 each.
For love servants:
Artoria (for invisible air cuz I love it), both Musashis (second favorite servant in fate), both Illyas and miyu (magical girls are the best)
Lesser grail: Raikou lancer, Ryouma rider, Hokusai saber, Nyanta and Luvia these are characters I like gameplay wise and as characters.
Grailed to 100 and plan to grail to 100 and max fou:
Mordred became one of my favorites after watching Apokrypha, she was so cool that I felt for her, she would be that friend I would love to have irl.
Ushiwakamaru (currently level 108): She is my favorite waifu from FGO, she's so sweet and cute and to top on that she's voiced by my favorite voice actress of all time Hayami Saori.
Ushiwakamaru assassin: same reason as her rider version but even more cheerful and playful.
Anastasia: loved her character during the Lostbelt 1 and her relationship with her master was pretty cute.
Chole von Einzbern: well if you watched Kaleid you will know why.
Caenis: at first I was kinda meh towards her but after playing the lostbelt 5 I loved her a lot.
Miyu Edelfelt: best girl from Kaleid, my ideal little sister.
Illyasviel caster: yeah I love Kaleid and Illya was my favorite from the original Fate series.
Musashi berserker: recently Musashi as a character has grown a lot on me and I regret not rolling when her saber version was available.
Sitonai: nothing much to say, she's NP4 cause I like her a lot.
Taira: I don't have her yet but when she will be available I'll go with everything for her.
My grail stories:
Minamoto no raikou (both zerk lvl100 and lancer lvl90) - i love her, shes my first 5 star in playing fgo in 2 weeks, her motherly nature is genuinely very sweet and caring for me cuz i have mom issues. I also love purple. Its my favorite color.
Rama lvl100- his undying loyalty to his wife is really sweet and his dress and pants outfit combo is so cool . His story lore is great, one of my faves. Sita is not here anyways-
David lvl104 for now- ah my damn beloved, love his va, love his lore (my childhood favorite), a dilf, i absolutely love his son as well. Im his new abishag.
Fuuma lvl90 - his role in shimousa is great, saved my ass from damn wyverns in part 1, star gen go brr.
Bartholomew lvl70 (lvl90 in the future) - great voice, decent design, hes just hot.
Arjuna archer lvl100 - i love arjuna, the reason why i played fgo, saw an ad about his archer form and im in love.
Dantes lvl100- i love the musical, the movie and the book of the count of the monte cristo. the moment i saw that hes a servant in fgo, i immediately gave my sq to him and fortunately got np2. Great husbando.
Mandricardo lvl80 (soon lvl90) - i love him, best boy, my best friend. If you know, you know.
Qin shi huang (future lvl100) - their design is amazing, lelouch my emperor, love them in lb3.
Lanling lvl90 - his role in lb3 is great, i love his design, his np, and hes very cute.
I grailed Hokusai (Foreigner) because she is my favorite in terms of design. She also helped me get back into FGO. I was burnt out on FGO for a long time already at that point but when her banner came I logged in and got her during my last 10 pull and she has was the reason I got back and stayed in FGO.
To this day she is still my favorite servant, I am still debating on Grailing her saber variant since I dont use her that much but maybe!

Lvl 100 Melt Summer - after the S.E.R.A.P.H. event I fell in love with her more and since I don't have the original version, I might as well go and grail the summer one. But will grail the OG version also if i get lucky and get her in the GSSR.

Lvl 90 Medusa Lancer (Ana) - loved her after clearing the Babylonia story and watching the Babylonia anime will surely make her lvl 100 in the future
Lvl 100 Anastasia - got her in my first GSSR in which she became my first SSR in the game and I got spooked by her 2 more times in which she has grown to me and now if I get her to NP5 will make her lvl 120 just for the memes and love.

I grailed my Herc to lvl 104 because not only was he my first four star in my second account but his also the coolest servant for me in the original fate stay night cast, followed by my level 92 Jalter(both berserker and avenger) then lvl 92 Regend and Rider Vince.
I knew about Medea's lore from mythology. I always thought that she got the short end of the stick and was really denied happiness. Love her design in FSN, and she carried me in early chapters.
lvl 103 space ishtar (going to be 120): My absolute favorite servant in the entire fate series and Rin is my favorite character of all time plus my one and only waifu. It took way too much to get NP 5, but I'm glad it's done.
lvl 100 Muramasa: I love Shirou and got NP 3 within like 6 multis. Also that FA is my favorite in the game.
lvl 100 OG Jeanne: Before I even got into fate, Joan of Arc was my favorite historical figure. I just thought she was super badass.
lvl 100 Jarcher: same reason as above AND when I first started playing on the JP server, I got NP 2 within 3 multis. fast foward three years, and now she's np 5 :)
lvl 100 Achilles: I hated him at first cause I got NP 4 all from ssr spooks, but he came in clutch for multiple fights for me and does a lot of damage, so I warmed up to him. Also, that fight with Chiron in Apocrypha is so fucking cool. I rolled for NP 5 not too long ago and got it too.
lvl 100 Arjuna Alter: gameplay and also got NP 2 off a 1 ticket fluke. Also, I just love all of pako's designs and arjuna alter is my favorite of their's
lvl 90 OG Cu (soon to be 100): Cu is my favorite out of all the servants in fate/stay night. just an overall badass.
lvl 80 Charlotte Corday (soon to be 90): Similar reason as Jeanne, thought she was a badass with her lore and I really like her design.
Man, I answered this question in Discord when someone asked me, and it was thousands of words... Gotta keep this short.
Mordred: Love her design, love her voice (Sawashiro Miyuki is my fav VA), love her personality and philosophy, she's a cute and badass tomboy, just the ideal waifu and my favorite Fate character.
Rider Mordred: See above, also bonus that she's so cheery and happy, made me love water-skiing (actual surfing kinda out of the option in Finland)
Gilgamesh: Always had a thing for arrogant characters who can more than back up their talk with both wisdom and power.
Enkidu: Big Kobayashi Yuu fan, and he is a sweet yet unbelievably powerful character who has such an endearing yet tragic backstory with Gil.
Nero: Might surprise some but I actually became a fan of her after watching The Last Encore, she is very cute, egocentric and insightful, pushes many of my buttons.
Shiki: Really loved her in Kara no Kyoukai and she is so badass and endearing, her split personality was very fascinating as well. She was my first welfare and ended up being one of my favorites.
Caster Shuten: I've listened to ASMR for almost 10 years now, and no one in Fate does it quite the same as our favorite local ASMR oni. She is also cute, smug and scary when she wants to be.
Nightingale: Badass, immovable will and very beautiful design, with the cherry on top being her VA (Sawashiro Miyuki, heh.) Made America a great singularity for me.
Qin Shi Huang: Loved him in LB3 and enjoyed him a lot ever since I got him in the GSSR. Many of the same traits as Gil. Man gave us immortality pills as a Valentine's gift (How based is that?!)
Level 100 Mordred-The first ever 5 star servant I got but she came when I was quitting FGO and just summoning to get rid of my fates. Maybe a year or 2 later I decided to try FGO again and still had my transfer code. Loaded my account and by sheer luck or fate I joined back during the Fate Apocrypha event so Mordred gave me the advantage to actually clear my first FGO event. Learned about Mordred's lore later on in Camelot which I never paid attention to before but realizing shes basically had a hand with OG Saber's downfall made her a favorite of mine.
Level 100 Musashi- learned of Musashi(Male) from another game called Warriors Orochi on the psp where you had a large number of icons from china and japan. I simply wanted a character that dual wielded swords and Musashi was the one, one of his final weapons was a combination of a sword and a wooden sword so out of curiousness I searched him up and learned of his lore against Kojiro who was also in the game. I then stumbled upon a video describing his books and now live by a verse he mentions "Respect the gods but dont rely on them". To my surprise FGO had a version of Musashi as well and also pays respect to his sword style where one is over the shoulder to hide the length of the sword.
Level 100 Jeanne Alter Berserker- first she was simply serving as a replacement since I dont have my own Jeanne Alter (still dont up to this day) But her chuni side has grown on me. I read Jeanne D' arcs info and noticed that it resembled a movie I watched as a kid yet didnt know the title and also played a psp game under the same name. The life and sacrifice of Jeanne D' Arc was sad and to be burnt at the stake by the end of it. I sadly didnt resonate with Jeanne D' Arc as I am no saint, rather I resonated with Jeanne Alter who held rage and a grudge for what happened to her. Yes the Alter version felt more human than the Jeanne we have in FGO that simply accepts and forgives. Will grail Jeanne alter (IF I GET HER!!!)
I grailed my Arthur and Jeanne ruler to 100, because I feel like they are an embodiment of heroes. When I saw Jeanne in Apocrypha, she took my heart with her kindness and bravery. And her design, of course. With Arthur, it was more a coincidence, I didn't know about male version at all. But then I discover him in the game, and he was so damn perfect as a knight by looking, and he is "OG", male King of knights... I was SO happy I got him with my last summon!.. After that, I saw Prototype, and my respect to him only grew up. So these two are my most lovely servants.
My Kintoki rider is on 90, it was my appreciation to him for being so useful. And I'm still thinking about grailing Medusa rider to 80, because I like her too, but there are some doubts about it.
Also, my summer Kiara is already off limits, even if I didn't summon her specifically. So she is another doubtful one.
And damn, how can I forget about Nero, she is on 90 too! I started FGO because of her, her cheerfulness and optimism in Last encore was wonderful. And I was very upset about she calling you "master" instead of "praetor"/"player". But still, she's amazing.

Grailed Ozymandias, Drake, Cu alter, Arash, and Arjuna Alter. Drake was honestly partly because I had a bunch of rider XP cards, but I do still quite like her. Most of the servants I've grailed, I did so to give them more damage, but Cu is because I love him. Not only was he a servant that I loved when I first played the game, dropping it due to burn out and I simply wasn't having fun at the time, but he was my very first SSR when I picked the game back up. Got him when, ironically, I was rolling on the male only banner on Valentine's a few years back in an effort to get Heracles without rerolling. Ozy was also done out of love, and I'm looking to grail Bunnytoria and both classic SSR Jeanne. Merlin, First Hassan, Jack, Karna and Dioscuri are all on the list to be grailed. Just bouncing between if I want to grail one of them, or save the cards for Muramasa.
I absolutely agree with King Hassan's Noble Phantasm being great. If it isn't my favorite, then it is definitely up there.

My first gold servant from the tutorial pull and carried my ass through the first year of my fgo journey. An absolute unit and threat in the anime with a beautiful written story in the VN.
Jack the Ripper was my first SSR, and she was pretty much the only servant I cared about at the time.
It was love at first sight when I saw Kingprotea.
Somewhat of the same thing with Nobunaga, but when I found out more about her she's just become so much of a favourite of mine I just can't place anyone else as my nr. 1 priority for lvl 120.
Then there's Oberon, whom... I can only describe as perfect.
I have a lvl 100 Cu cause I love the guy and really enjoy his kit in fgo as well, my man's a unit
First off, Great video! Simple talk over but it's ALWAYS interesting to find out why people love certain characters the way they do.
To briefly summarize my reasons,
My current lvl 100 Grails are,
- Okita (Saber) Going to 120 her soon. Design, personality/character, how I discovered FGO, love Japanese history/culture and already knew of the Shinsengumi prior to FGO, I now own a 1/7 scale figure of her final ascension.
- Ryougi Shiki (Assassin): Discovered Kara no Kyoukai prior to FGO need I say more? Also have a 1/8 scale figure but not in her Red Jacket sadly, need aniplex to re-release plz ty.
- Scathach (Lancer): Joined during the Summer re-run of her Summer version. Also love her design and character.
- Arjuna Alter (Berserker): Loved his design the moment I saw it. He's simply cool. Also, Archer Arjuna introduced me to Indian Mythos.
- Nobu (Avenger): Oda Nobunaga, need I say more?
My lvl 90 Grails are,
- Tomoe (Archer and Saber versions): Waifu, ancient Japanese historical figure, and her designs are immaculately awesome.
- Carmilla (Rider): Waifu bait. Femme Fatale characters can be hit or miss for me, but Summer Carmilla definitely hit.
- Okita (Assassin): Summer. Okita.
- Scathach (Assassin): Summer. Scathach. Also, was the first free event servant available to me when I joined so she was 10 bonded fairly quickly.
So for me there's a few I have Grailed, and others I have Grails set aside for but haven't started yet.
Firstly and most importantly there is Scathach. My favorite servant. Upon getting her I immediately set out to 10/10/10, level 100, and 2k her. Now with NP3 on her I have started the long journey of 120ing her, currently in the 102-104 range.
Next there is Chloe, or Kuro as some call her. I actually tried FGO 3 times before becoming invested on my 3rd try. But on my previous try, that was when Prisma Illya was initially ran and while I never completed the event, it stuck in my memory. So when she came back after I became a dedicated player, I just fell in love with her, in the sense that she is my chaotic Gremlin daughter. She was the first servant I used grails on I have grailed her to 100.
Next and last of my used grails was Summer Okita. Okita Saber was my first SSR in the game and soon after I also got Okita Alter, so Okita is also someone special and dear to me. So when I pulled Summer Okita I felt like she had to be equal level to her other versions, so she is level 90.
Next I'll go over my grail plans and the grails I've set aside
Firstly is if Summer Scathach ever comes back I will 100 her, and then there is Skadi who I've put off Grailing just because it wasn't practical even though I want to do it. Next is Ereshkigal, any fellow Ereshkigal fans out there already know how precious she is and I love her. Then there's Jalter, perhaps a basic pick but I love her anyways and want to increase her attack even higher. Then there's Space Ishtar, Saber Wars 2 became one of my favorite events in the whole game and I really enjoyed her there as well as her kit being one of my favorites and her NP being one of my top 3 NPs.
That's it for servants available on NA at the moment but I do also plan on grailing Morgan and Archetype Earth when they come out. I did grail them both on my JP account as well as Bazett and Summer Okita Alter.
At the moment I have 35 grails and I need 44 for all my projects and 120ing Scathach, so completely possible within the next 2 years until they come out. I also might grail Charlie on at least my JP account just because he is one of my favorite servants as well.
Like you, I grail for love. It keeps me sane. Artoria is my favorite Fate character so I grail her various versions the most and having that goal to work toward makes the game really enjoyable for me.
For me your story about becoming interested in playing FGO is the same, but with King Hassan. I also thought Cursed Arm looked incredibly cool, and one day decided to look at the FGO wiki to see how he was perceived. It was a little disheartening he was only a 2-star but that got me curious to looking up the rest of the fate/stay night cast. Eventually I just went and looked at the entire servant list by ID, and the moment I saw King Hassan I knew I had to try to get him. I never played a gacha before and swore off even trying them cause I felt like most were just waifu bait jpg creators, so seeing such a badass design was the push I needed to give it a chance. I was also extremely lucky because the rerun (which was supposedly his last for the foreseeable 2 years+), was in 4 months from when I started playing.
After saving up every single quartz pass the tutorial roll, the day came and on my 2nd to last 10 roll after around 300 quartz, I got him. Was extremely happy especially because I got spooked at the very beginning by Jeanne. I was basically out of quartz but by some miracle, I got another two copies of him from single tickets/rolls over the next few days. After that I just felt in my heart I had to max everything for him, there was no question. He's currently lv 105 and I have alot of embers stored waiting for a 2x chance on enhancing. He's of course also getting all his cards fou pawed first.
The other ones aren't quite as storied, I have lv 100 Gawain because he was very intimidating first time in Camelot, when the 2nd SR selector came I picked him without a second thought. Even though he was a bit of a monster in the story, in reality he's such a bro and a cool guy. Also great design with cape. After I got 4 more copies rolling for Kingprotea (which I unfortunately failed) I decided I'll max him out as well.
Ivan is 100 because his design is sick, his kit is actually nuts, and his voice is amazing. He didn't do much in the story but I like the slumbering giant archetype of characters.
Orion at 100 is much of the same, with the addition of BIG BUSTER CRITS, funny bear face, and just the idea of the grand archer being a man who goes around bonking animals really hard.
