Damn that’s a really good idea hahaha. My visual was a small kid becoming a mighty leader, like the protagonist player character’s journey. I love this theme so much. There’s this playfulness at the beginning and then a seriousness a bit later into the theme.
I agree that this could pass for a PMD dungeon theme, albeit a unique one. It showcases the beauties of Japanese instrumentation and I'm also noticing some leitmotifs from Sinnoh's bicycle theme. It's hard not to picture a dense, green forest filled with diverse flowers or a battle on a vast windswept field when hearing this song. Easily my favorite track of the game.
Silas D Lol playing it as I type this, even if they made a second one with a larger scale I think it would benefit immensely. Like more castles and definitely more pokemon, they left out alot of the Samurai Warriors cast so they have plenty of characters to add. I think the gameplay is alot of fun and deserves more use.
this track is hardwired into my brain because i very reluctantly dismissed one of my team members in this game to bring someone else on and for some reason felt so violently guilty i tracked the same NPC down to re-recruit him
like when i say i was sweating over this decision it took me an hour to decide and i'm pretty sure i started crying after i got the guy off my team. no idea why btw

This is the ONLY track in the entire game that drives me crazy. I love the soundtrack except for this one right here. I find it extremely annoying.
It's nice the first half, but it gets a little ear grating at the end. I can see a remaster of it being really amazing tho.
