Bruce f its pretty easy. I got the LED kit on ebay. Then used a needle to poke holes through the provided back wall sticker and threaded 0.5mm fibre optic strands through and put a blob of glue on the back to hold in place. Hardest bit was separating all the strands to into the right colours I wanted in each area. Then glues them into groups, so all the blue, all the green ect and finally used heat shrink tube to attach to the LED. Took about 3 hours.
Id like to get fiber into my MF as well. What is the power source you are using? Can you get us a parts list that you had success with? Searching RC LED on Ebay gives so many options not sure what to get and how to power them. Maybe Ebay item numbers? :) thanks for your help. Your kit looks really great!

it looks great but i think its a bit overkill , i would have some perm lit amd some flashing
