Thanks for another awesome video, Mike! Kodachrome is definately the most interesting kind of found film, there's just something so ghostly about it. Getting it developed is practically necromancy.
You missed a fun opportunity to add mock pro-golf commentary and little smatterings of applause after each putt. Maybe next time! Thanks for another fun found film!
Congratulations on having nearly 5,000 subscribers. Well deserved! You almost always get images from Kodachrome, which is an accomplishment in itself.😊 Right now I have 3 rolls of K40 to shoot. Hopefully I’ll finally get some images on them. I have some Ilfosol developer right now (similar to D76) I need to use up so will test with it and see what I get.
@@Filmboy24 I did some research. And the chemicals aren’t really the problem in the k-14 process. It’s the process self that’s a bit of a challenge to get right and then to do it at home. 😔 and we don’t have Kodachrome film enough to test that and get it right.
@@pd1jdw630 Yep, it's been attempted a couple of times with pretty dismal results. There are so many odd steps, like re-exposure to separate color layers, adding color couplers, etc. that it'll likely never be duplicated properly again. The existing Kodachrome film is also doing nothing but getting older and older as well.
@@Filmboy24 sadly, cause so many iconic photos and film parts where shot on it. But maybe for the better. I’ve read some chemicals that were used even I had doubts about it to be recreated. Thus now the new quest probably comes up. How can we manipulate E100 to look like it. Even though it has a place on its own though. Anyway, thanks for sharing!
Oh I remember that “coat of chrome” film! 🤦🏻♀️🤣🤣 Great video Mike!!
🤣🤣🤣 That was a good one, Lorie!!

Thank you, Rem-jet! That's a great way to look at it, it does feel like a resurrection of lives from long ago.

Thank you, Cecil!!

Definitely Southern California, in the La Habra area, which is hilly. Nearby is the Industry Hills Country Club, which this may be.
Thanks, Butch!!

Maybe it’s time to find out the chemicals for the old processing.
I wish it was that easy 😞
