I hope you get the views you need to justify an episodic series of this game. I saw Drae play the demo and am so delighted to see it again! Hope to see more!
I will say, I probably would have scanned everything in that alien structure, instead of just one thing. I'd guess that probably the biggest issues is that he's running around without the scanner out.
Iron being more important than copper? Now what does that remind me of... (if you guessed Factorio, congrats!) Totally getting the subnautica vibes from this. Minus the whole water thing.
@@OlexaYT Absolutely. There aren't many games I know that I can pull out with pretty much anyone and they will be a hit, but The Crew is 100% that. Plus it gets HARD later on, so it suits my itch to be challenged when I want to
Definitely love it... And liked it when i saw it shown off.. i cant remember when. A long time ago. Cant remember on which channel. I Believe it was SplatterCat. Sounds right.
have you played aground? it's a great game imo, going from banging rocks with your stone pick to FTL travel. it is not perfect, there's a bit of clunkiness, but it makes up for it many times over with multiple routes (magic and tech based) there's a free demo available online that has a decent amount of content. aground zero is the 3d spin-off, though it's nowhere near finished, so I wouldn't recommend it for now
I just recently 100%ed this game, I love it but it def needs some balancing tweaks, you are way too under powered at the beginning and way too overpowered by the end, the sweet-spot comes and goes relatively quickly to the rest of the game.
Olexa, I'm never playing another game on PC or console. I found I've become a phone gamer. It is really hard to find good games that aren't micro transactions heavy games in that genre. I can't be the only one. I like your terrible game ability. I like it too much. I haven't been able to find any one who caters to my needs. Maybe this niche needs filled. Maybe you could influence developers to make great games for people like me. I have 10 to 20 minutes for a great shooter, or dungeon crawler or quick city builder. Consider looking for single play or multiplayer game play on mobile that isn't terrible. I live here now and likely will end my life in this style of play. Technology willing.
Sorry man, busy times. Dont have the 4 seconds. If your videos take too much effort to watch, you’re gonna lose views. I like the games you play though! Just seems like too much for my tiny attention span
Seems like this game has not a lot more to offer, unless there is like a few whole new aspects we haven't seen yet. The gameplay loop seems kinda dull and repetitive, even compared to similar games where you go between mining and feeding some crafting machine.
this game isn't exactly new... There is an update nearing release though that will expand the game, so make of that what you will :) still a good game though, just not new... been out for at least a year :)
fair enough :) but yeah, the dev has released one major post launch update and stated that a second is in the works, been radeo silent since the previous update dropped, so we'll see what happens... still a solid experience though :)
There's clearly potential here but the exploration just seems like a total cop-out. Having a game promote itself as Subnautica but mining but then not letting you actually explore instead sticking you in a little pixelated mini-game while the drill is teleported around contained areas is a completely different type of game. You can walk around in those little areas but its doesnt really feel like a world you can explore... Instead of that pixel mini-game, give us some actual windows we can see out of and let us pilot the drill in first person proper. Let the player get out at any time if theyre in a tunnel and walk back to the base if, say, the drill runs out of fuel. God knows that was a harrowing part of mid-game Subnautica. Theres a lot of potential here but the devs chose the easiest and cheapest way out while trying to give us the illusion of an open world. Disappointed...
Indie devs can't do it all. I think this is a great compromise considering what you are suggesting would have probably doubled or tripled the time it would take to make this game.
@@fahlgorithm oh yeah I understand that. But they've already shown they have the technical knowledge to make a 3D world, all the rest is. And you don't need to make it randomly generated, Subnautica is a set, designed map with built-in border edges and I don't think it loses anything because of it. This game could do something like that. Hell, it's probably easier than Subnautica since you can keep it a flat map instead of needing Subnautica's depth limiters as well. Use the toughness of the rock like it already does. What I'm saying essentially is that they already have the means in the game engine to do it but decided not to and, to me at least, it's obvious enough that it brings down my opinion of the game and the devs.
This may not be performing well enough for a mini-series, but it would be pretty cool to see a few more episodes.
so like a mini series?
Ah yes, a series that is mini
it seems to be doing alright tbf.
I really like the idea of using 'heavy equipment' to mine for a change, instead of just another laser beam. Looks like vibe!
I hope you get the views you need to justify an episodic series of this game. I saw Drae play the demo and am so delighted to see it again! Hope to see more!
Great video, would love to see a few more episodes of this!
Totally agree.
I'd love to see more of this.
"This guy is no longer here", goes back into his drill which had the door open the whole time...
This was a fun watch, definitly a cool little chill incremental game where you can just vibe out and mine.
Iron lung style mining game, what a great idea. Looks like the dev is still adding content too!
I like the extra time in this video
I love this game, I really appreciate you covering it Olexa, keep up the good work! ❤❤❤
You called it an idle game. Perhaps a better term would be "incremental." You slowly progress, over time.
Yeah! Much better term
kinda like _Delta V: Rings of Saturn_ in a way?
@@idontwantahandlethough - I would say yes. Harvest, upgrade, rinse and repeat. Delta V is MUCH more hard-core science, though.
there’s so many gatekeepers of that genre who seem to think incremental games should be idle games with balanced idle/active play lol
I love this game please keep playing because I also love seeing you play it.
I will say, I probably would have scanned everything in that alien structure, instead of just one thing. I'd guess that probably the biggest issues is that he's running around without the scanner out.
i didnt even feel like it was 45 mins
good content

I'd actually quite like it if this became a series, it's relaxing
Love the phisicality of piloting a vehicle, feels a lot inspire by Iron Lung and I appreciate that. I hope to see more
Magnificent mining game moving mad 🔥
oh sick! i saw someone (orbi?) play the demo a while back and im glad to see its filled out a bit. thanks for coverin. cute game, chill vid
Gotta love Olexa’s constant use of alliteration
Lovely little mining game, loving the chill vibes
Thats an awesome little game, wish you would do more of it
Hey a "the Crew" shout out! That game is niche but super fun.
This appears quite magnificent
I looove when you play weird first person games like this
The crew is so good, and what a phenominal call back to it there.
Genuinely top 5 card game of all time for me

If theres one thing i love its, Olexa saying "if theres one thing i love"
I really liked this one. Very chill game. Hopefully we get more
They made a submarine horror game with very simlar mechanics it was pretty Cthulhu
this game is pretty neat i played back when the demo was out, it was pretty fun
A mining game, and I only just now got it pushed to me by youtube 3 weeks late? The hell's the algorithm doing man
I am loving this
Please keep playing :) I am a fan of the mining games
This game would be so good in VR
Loved it hope u will make a mini series out of it
This game looks ao chill! It might be a good game to stream
rock and stone?
Liked this one. Satisfying.
Was really fun to watch
friggin love the crew
Will you play more of this please?
I dont mind that its not a roguelike. It looks like a lot of fun and the kind of game I'd enjoy.
I for one welcome our spooky guy overlord.
I feel like this game would be great in vr
MOAR!

Hahaha funnily enough I'm in the prototype and testing stage for my own mining based board game.
I do in fact like mining games 🤣
It’s that time of the day to watch olexa’s new video during my lunch break at work
It's possibly extraterrestrial in origin? On not Earth? Say it ain't so!
When you do the olenky
ROCK AND STONE!
Nice vid, not a big fan og first person games but one every once ina while is nice
I wouldnt mind seeing more myself
for some reason your intro music reminds me of never gonna give you up lmao
You just got Rick rolled.
More!
Would love to see more of this game!
Would love to see more so im leaving a comment.. just in case
I was fully expecting this to be a 2D pixel game
Recommending watching at 2x playback speed
Episode 2 pls
12:45 Bro, all drilling IS is crashing into walls
Rock and stone?
Instant addiction🎉
Is this game from the same devs than astroneer?
Reminds me of satisfactory
bit a bold move to compare THIS to subnautica 😂
Olexa is just so good that he has 5 likes at 3 views…
I think.. if you hit NUMBER 5... on your bed.. with the gun out.. might be able to DELETE
Please dig through! It kind of bothered me you kept reusing the same cleared path.
And you put down your scanner before attempting to scan the metal boxes... Lmao
The episode is over already. More?
god damn that slowed down pattern clicking is brain numbing shit
This kinda geela like a indie type.. roguelike type game

27 seconds late
What game is this? You should really put the game title in your video title.
It’d take you a grand total of 4 seconds to look in the description and see the game there
Also 5 seconds into the video it says the name of the game...
This is the internet though… also, do you guys “actively” watch TH-cam? I just have it “passively” on in the background always.
So you can passively click the description to see the game title once you zone back in.

I wanna know how much money these companies giving Olexa to promote bad games with such positive video titles.
This isn’t a paid sponsorship, I will very clearly say if a video is sponsored.
And I enjoyed this game a lot. It’s literally just a very peaceful mining Subnautica, what’s there not to like?
@@OlexaYT some people havd been feed popular multiplayer shooter SO MUCH, they won't play anything else.
I've seen it directly
86% positive reviews on Steam, with 188 reviewers. That's pretty good, and Olexa had NOTHING to do with that.
Are you delusional. In what way is the game bad it has a great rating on steam too
