- Rick Rule talks about stocks he likes and stocks he dislikes. That's it.
Rick Rule + stocks = easy interview.
More specifically, in this interview Rick Rule talked to me about #gold & #uranium, as well as different jurisdictions around the world that he is currently holding stocks in. We also talked about some of the #uraniumstocks Rick Rule likes and dislikes. Is #RickRule even a hashtag? That's very cool.

Great guest, great interview!
Its one of the best Rick interview that I heard in a while. Finally someone is asking NEW questions, and not same stuff over and over again.
Thank you for the kind feedback, David. I appreciate you. Rick does an interview every day or every other day. So, inevitably, there's cross over. I do understand what you mean, though. Sometimes it's really just the same questions over and over again.
Spot on
Agreed. He put his narrative in the capboard for this one. Well done Ant man.
Rick Rule once gave an interview in which he admitted he was interested in some miners but didn't want to name them so he could continue to accumulate. Therefore I always assume if he names something he is already in and wants you to buy so he can get out 😂
Not necessarily true, but I understand the logic.
he makes the most interviews during times when assets are most hated, so it makes sense
In all of the numerous interviews Mr. Rule has given on You Tube, valuable investment ideas, and philosophy abounds.
A financial advisor would consider me crazy, but I built my equity portfolio, during the past several years, based solely upon Mr. Rule's strongest convictions. As of today, it's up 54%.
Thank you Mr. Rule.
Be very careful building portfolios off of the internet. The internet doesn't have a great track record.
Good job Antonio... you took Rick on an interesting tour and the interview worked well in that regard. Good idea and it worked.
Thank you, M! I appreciate you stopping by.
I quit at 3 minutes
That's an amazing achievement. Hopefully it made your day.
Anthony I've always liked you and your show so take this as a compliment: you've grown into an admirable figure in the resource field. I think I used to think I knew more than you and in the last couple years you've passed me. you're working hard and it shows. Thanks for a great interview. fwiw, i love the more frank and blunt/specific approach, it helps reveal that you hold a solid store of knowledge.
You're too kind. I am way too far from any significant level of knowledge to be able to accept your compliments, but I do appreciate them!
As always, great interview. Thank you for inquiring Rick regarding NXE in the Athabasca Basin.
Thank you for being here, MK, and thank you for the kind feedback.
Great interview, as always. Thanks for sharing. Regarding the Lundin family. It would be interesting to see what would happen if one were to buy an equally weighted portfolio of shares in the Lunding group of companies. Like a Lundin index. Wonder if such an index already exist and what the performance has been over time.
I don't think such index exists, but it could probably be studied.
Interesting idea.
It's great to hear you talk about Australia (Straya). Thanks again.
STRAYA M8!
Great interview Antonio. you got more quality information out of Rick than most people do, you obviously know your subject matter and ask the right questions and you let your guests talk un interrupted. I would be very interested to know Ricks opinion on Australian pure play silver miners, of which there aren’t many, SVL ( Silver Mines Limited ) comes to mind. I believe in 2023 they got government approval to commence mine production . and they have a sizeable ore body with a long life of mine, I also believe they have found gold.
If you compare the valuations on Aussie silver stocks & Canadian silver stocks, then Rick's opinion is probably the same as what he share in this pod.
He thinks the Aussies are overvalued relative to the Canadians.
Thank you for the kind words, thinking man!
This was a fantastic interview..!
Thank you for the very kind feedback, blonde sir.
Thanks Rick. Another great interview that demonstrates that I am continuing to learn how much I don’t know.
Big same! Thank you for stopping by, Brian.
A Rick Rule interview always a good listen 👍
I agree! Thank you for being here, Malek.
Fascinating interview!!!
Thank you for being here & for the kind feedback, Richard?
Great conversation with Rick!
Thank you for the kind words, W. Rick is always easy to talk to.
Howdy strangers😁
Thank you for the content again! I have been investor in PDN and DYL for a while. Can you recommend some places for better understanding of warrants and private placement that you found to be helpful?
Thank you for the kind words. I don't have one source that I feel comfortable pointing you towards, but there are a few stuff on TH-cam that can get you going. Ultimately, you'll need a full service broker to explain to you how they work and whether you are eligible to participate.
Great interview Antonio, Rick Rules a fountain of knowledge 👍
Thank you, Sime. Rick is easy to interview!
I remember a couple of days ago when you were "all in" on gold and silver.
All?
Thank you, Gentlemen!! Appreciate the dialogue and company comments.
Thank you for being here, but Rick gets all the credit here. I just pretty much sat there.
Antonio, congratulations for combining investment and comedy ! I cannot get enough. Your guests are so valuable and I enjoy every minute of how you conduct the show. BIG THANK YOU.
Thank you for the very kind words, Florian. I appreciate you, and I'm glad you're finding value in what I do. Don't take me too seriously, though. I still have tons to learn.
Thanks Rick and Antonio for another great interview. Antonio - would you mind disclosing what your biggest dog stocks were, and biggest winners, just out of sheer curiosity :))
I still have no winners to talk about, but when I do - I will.
Thank you for the kind words and for stopping by!
RR will be please with the thumbnail pick!. in RR speak he would say something like : as your viewers (for the 1620 interview) will recall Antonio, the juxtiposition between my hair line and the size of my bankrole is sizeable and growing 🤣. never miss an Antonio - RR interview!
Rick's words are always so carefully woven. Thank you for being here, G! I appreciate the kind words.
Thank you!
Thank you for the thanks!
Late night with Rick Rule. The casual files.
Agreed.
As usual, very interesting and great people
Thank you for stopping by, Patrick. I appreciate the kind words!
You’re doing great, you just need to move away from Europe and their craziness 😊

good interview rick rule is likeable guy with a gutsy attitude to risk.
That does summarise him very well. Thank you for being here, David!
Just a scoop of ice cream- happy new year
What flavour?
Just finished baking three loaves of sourdough white rye bread. I thought that was some hallucinogenic rye flour as the beginning of the video was B&W high contrast.
What are you doing with three breads sir?
@@ResourceTalks I baked three loaves every few days. One for my 87-year-old mother, one for my 24-year-old son, and one for myself.
How big of a bread are we talking about? 15oz?
@@ResourceTalks Each batch is about 2000 grams split into 3 loaves
Namibia could be an interesting play. The government in Namibia is in favor of hydrocarbons already. Big supermajors exploring there. Does anyone know which companies are exploring for uranium in Namibia and Botswana?
Sure do.
I'm balls deep in Elevate Uranium (ASX:EL8) which owns the largest land position in Namibia for Uranium and have made 4 discoveries in the last 4 years.
legend.
wait for it ... dary!
RR selling would explain why the Oz uraniums have been soft lately (except Boss).
I doubt 1 person could lead the market.
@@ResourceTalks Only if they had huge stakes. But you're right, it's unlikely.
Thanks!🎉
Has a bull market ever flopped? ( Honest question).
Flopped in what sense?
@ResourceTalks Like if the reasons for it went away or some events countered it in some way .I was thinking on a smaller scale for example Russia selling everything they can cheap -Palladium/Platinum? to fund their invasion and the price went down big.
Yes, there have been bull markets of all lengths & depths. Quick spikes are often the case of what you're talking about. Comparable to the uranium spike of 2007. It spiked on the perception that Cigar Lake would not deliver anything into the market because of a supposed flood, but there was no flood of this size and the price crashed.
Antonio do you have an interview explaining warrants?
No, but if you google "warrants vs options investopedia", you'll find a very decent explanation that's helped me. Hope it helps you, too!
Excellent channel man
Thank you for the kind words.
I appreciate you ask the uncomfortable questions
Thank you fort being here, V! I don't intend to ask uncomfortable questions, just whatever pops up into my mind and seems interesting.
Great interview. But there is no "North of where Santa Claus lives."
Is the Earth not flat?
RARELY can a person catch RR up on ANYTHING he says especially regarding investing AND he has a fantastic sense of humor. I hope to meet him so I can advise him "Do NOT invest in resource stocks, real estate or ANYTHING North of where Santa lives."@@ResourceTalksThat's an even worse proposition than swamp land or big bridges...
what is your thought on prime mining?
You can send in your portfolio for review through Rick's website, which he mentioned at the end of this interview.
So glad I tools ricks advice and bought Russian stocks. Another great pick 👍🏼
😅😭😭
You buy things off of TH-cam videos, and then go on TH-cam videos to complain it went wrong?
Interesting.
@@ResourceTalks yes just to make sure everyone knows this guy is clueless
Sure thing buddy.
Mr Rick Rule how is your research on helium going?
You can email him!
$104 Uranium!! 💪🏼☢️🔋
Is it getting too late?
Hi Antonio, I see Rick is liking risky jurisdictions like Niger, but when you did uranium interview Rick doesn’t like Niger at all due to geological location. What is your taken on this change?
After the coup, he said it was too risky and that he couldn't give a grade on glo, which is true. It was indeed risky. But, that's when you know that it's bottomed, which was when I bought. I'm now up 110%. Time to look at Mexico.
I would suggest re listening carefully and slowly to both parts. He does not contradict himself, but there's a caveat to liking risky jurisdictions.
The interviewer is very good. He also looks like Van Gogh. :-)
I am not cutting off my ear.
Did you sell Paladin?
I never owned Paladin. Did you?
Antonio... just curious, do you own any Crypto?
A tiny bit through my crypto visa. Not because I care about crypto but because it gives me free Netflix, Spotify, and some cash back (although I don't really spend all that much on it).
Hbu?
Who owns the vaca muerte in Argentina?
Not sure it's one company. As of 2017, there were almost 500 fracking wells there, apparently.
Deep Yellow in Australia has performed outstandingly this year has been my best investment so far
They're doing a decent job so far. Let's see if they can find the money to build those mines!
As Antonio says he loses money perhaps the best investment advice is to avoid stocks he says he's interested in 😀
Agreed.
UEC is roaring ❤🎉
The stock is, yeah.
Mr. Full of Himself!
You?
Which commodity has outpaced the S&P?
On what time frame?
@@ResourceTalks on what time frame you wish you LL be happy N excited because your investment is higher or on par with S&P.? All the time rite?..many had overlooked the other side of what Rick rule said " reward extravagantly occasionally" which means it is down 90% of the time.
Commodity businesses are generally horrible businesses. The only reason why I'm interested in this market are the pockets of extravagant returns that occur every now and again.
Its a shame Rick has overlooked Tectonic Metals’ Flat project. Looks like a 100M oz gold camp. He will be late to it just like he was late to $BIG. Except Flat IS the real deal.
100M oz?
37:00 just marking this for myself dont mind me
but now you have to tell me why
Interesting that Rick has written off his Russian stocks. I'm in the same boat and unfortunately may need to do the same.
I kept my worthless RSX and just got a dividend before Christmas
I was forced to liquidate my account that held them.
@@ResourceTalks Fidelity will not let me sell them. They seem to say no such ticker symbol so it can't be traded! :/
All this talk of Africa and Australian mining companies and iron ore and not one mention of Simandou iron ore project aka the "Pilbara killer" in Guinea. There is a TRILLION dollars of high grade iron ore in the ground there.
What's in the ground doesn't necessarily have to come out.
@@ResourceTalks do you really think a company like Rio Tinto is going to spend billions on infrastructure there for it to not come out?? They've already announced production STARTS in 2025!
With all said and done, We the Peones ain't going to get any alfa. Ever ...😜
Why?
@@ResourceTalks
*SHORT ANSWER*
Because We the Peones do not have access to TIMELY AND RELIABLE (*) information about the Company, therefore we cannot draw a profitable Lassonde curve.
*LONG ANSWER* (This is why the system is “rigged” against the Peones.)
1) Mike Londino runs into a promising discovery and he needs 10M to drill. He issues a bunch of shares at 0.15 USD each, and personally calls Jack Ruler who gathers the good ol’ boys and together they come up with the capital. No lemons are being dished out because Mike Londino is a honest businessman and Jake Ruler has some serious leverage, too. He also travels there to check preliminary drilling samples himself, just in case. Shares go from 0.15 to 0.45 (3x).
2) Jack Ruler and his associates sell their shares, recover capital, pay taxes, skim profits and leave their risk-free quota invested. Shares go back to 0.15 USD (Lassonde orphan period).
3) Mr. Schwab and Mrs. Blackrock (who carry ALLOT of leverage, so better not get 🍋🍋) now look into this Company and, after careful checking and warning, they buy and buy. Shares rise 30x to 4.5 USD each. The Peones don’t have any leverage whatsoever, and their only option at this stage is reliance on the Company’s propaganda website (*).
4) As a consequence, the Peones’ only reliable compass is the skyrocketed price, hence their entry point will be invariably way too high. *Alfa is long gone*.
(*)
I analyzed a silver company back a while ago. Really did my DD. Finally, I opened a first position into it. The very next morning 🤯🤣it was 25% down. After another 2 days it had gone down 73%. The reason? … “Oooops we made a mistake in the evaluation of recoverable reserve. Our bad”.

If you want a great read there is a business book about how Russia was like the Wild West just after the wall fell. The book is “The Siberia Job” by Josh Haven.

Interesting fact - Africa's first nuclear reactor sits (presumably still) practically unguarded in a university in Kinshasa. Two of the uraniun rods were stolen in the 70's, supposedly when the director handed the packlock key over to a stranger (as one does). But hey, no problem - TIA.

Good job. Nobody went broke taking a profit.
No investor is disputing the fact that gold and silver stocks are cheap. The issue is why Talking Heads in general were saying they were attractive even when prices were 70% higher. Seems they are always cheap whatever the price, if you are a gold/silver bull. Kind of reduces the value of anything they say, especially for investors who acyually remember what the Talking Heads said in the past about specific mining coys.
As the dislaimer says, for entertainment purposes only when the local circus is closed.
Talking Heads don't get paid to make money for viewers. They can money when viewers watch. That's it.
