      You must refrigerate it so it doesn't go bad too quickly. So the tea will be cold. Or you can use it cold as a spritz on your hair to give it moisture. Or you can use it warm to pour over your hair as a pre conditioner or as a leave in just before you style.

    Ladies, Ladies, Ladies,
    Teas have been a game changer for my hair since going natural during the pandemic.
    I am 70 years old and have a head full of healthy shiny thriving hair.
    I wish I could show you my beautiful healthy hair.
    Of course, make sure you are drinking enough water and a healthy diet.
    There Are so many wonderful things I learned during the pandemic about living a healthy lifestyle and being a healthy woman even in my 70’s.
    My grandma taught me a great deal about taking care of my skin and hair on zero budget🤣 Most of the things are right in you kitchen cabinet and THEY WORK!
    I’m putting together some of my all time favorites found right in your kitchen.
    Look out for Mama J’s launch of kitchen herbs that WORK.
    You have to be patient because changes don’t happen overnight.
    Thanks to Curly Chemistry, Curly Proverbs and Green Beauty.
    Blessings Mamma J

    Topic: Graying hair. Dealing with the changes in hair texture that comes with it. Reducing the rate of graying.

    • @JupiterWisdom1111
      @JupiterWisdom1111 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Chamomile is excellent for hair growth but it lightens hair and blocks melanin in the hair, so if you're concerned with graying (like myself) you might want to skip the chamomile tea rinse. There are other teas like hibiscus for promoting healthy follicles and hair growth, and elderflower tea which helps to combat split ends.

Lots of advice and I bought a load of products and it has improved a lot. I wanted to get your opinion on her advice that we should b using any oils on our coily hair AT ALL. I was shocked by that. She was also against aurvedic powders, henna, just about everything really. I’m glad that your next video will be on oils so perhaps you can cover your thoughts in that video? Have you ever used a tea/ rinse/water in your steamer( if you recommend using one) to refresh / remoisturize your hair? Would you? Clarity: (Already have the tea made before hand) just use it for better penetration products/hydration

      Green tea is a DHT blocker, but it makes my hair dry so I use it during my conditioning step. I add my conditioner and then I use a squirt bottle to focus the strong green tea on my scalp I rinse it out with the conditioner, Stopped my shedding in it's tracks and helped with growth. Green tea is strengthening to my hair so I use it with moisture conditioners. Also check out NowIamNappy she addresses this concern directly. DHT blocking is what's needed.

      @@JanetJenkins I use green and black tea now. Big improvement. However, I tried my first wash and go and the shedding came back full force. I will not try a wash and go again. I have high porosity hair and I should have known better. The hair that came from washing the product out, made me wanna scream. I won't try again, no time soon.

      I am learning as well but for frizzy hair Use maybe a moisture cre.e or a leave in conditioner it works for me but it takes time and I don't think you should shampoo x
      Every day maybe every 2 weeks or as less asyou absolutely have same t8 with colors don't overdo try these steps see how they work then try others Jackie

    Hi Ma if I may ask you this.I love your video first of all. 👍 My question is the New Shea moisture hair product for Low Porosity saids in front of bottle Grapeseed and Tea TreeOils Low Porosity Weightless Hydrating Conditioner.. But in the ingredients has. Benzoic Acid and Citric Acid. I’m confused bc ive read that certain Acids are not good at all for Low Porosity Protein Sensitive thinning hair. It’s so hard to find the Correct shampoo/conditioner/leave in etc.. That is formulated the rite way for us with these hair issues. Yes seen so many videos but to many different things are said there’s DYI or buy at store . I have naturally Curly hair.Just need the rite stuff for my hair. That’s actually meant for low porosity protein sensitive hair. And has the correct formulas mixed together. Bc a lot low porosity people probably in the same shoes I am 🤷‍♀️. Oh yes I did buy thatShea moister hair products but when I saw the ingredients I was like . Oh my. . So I’m here asking you Pls point me in the right direction concerning this message 😊. Thank you for reading 🙏🏻

    Thanks Tonya. I love drinking these teas but I have a question. Are essential oils related to the herbal teas ? Can these oils be helpful at all or would they be contrary factors?

    • @TracyD2
      @TracyD2 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would think so. The same chemicals are in the essential oil are in teas. You can look up each essential oil to see what it is made from. If it has the chemicals you are looking for.

    I would love to hear your thoughts on Isopropyl Alcohol in shampoos, especially when it's at the top of the ingredient list. Is the advice against using products with isopropyl alcohol a marketing scare tactic, like with silicones and petroleum, or is there some truth to it? And please do more videos on marketing scare tactics and fearmongering about perfectly normal ingredients.
    And silicones in shampoos. Do shampoos with silicones cause build-up in the long-run?

    • @tempest2fuu
      @tempest2fuu 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Gorata! Sorry to reply on her behalf, but I know she touches on that topic in her video about alcohols. I don't remember the exact name of the video, but if you search her channel name with the word alcohol, it should pop up. I hope it will give you an answer.

      Hi. I’ve watched her videos on alcohol before but the video suggestion I have in mind is different. I’m hoping for something that directly addresses the claims about isopropyl alcohol, gives some scientific context to the claims, and declares if they are exaggerated or valid. My concern is about fearmongering and how consumers are constantly scared out of buying products that might be beneficial to them.
