Last November I did 3000 km across Vietnam. I had Honda Blade by Tigit. It was amazing experience.Strictly recomended Tigit motorbikes. Totally profesional service, good motorbike and when I gave back motorbike in Hanoi then I got bonus. I met one of my favourite youtuber Bald and Bankrupt 😍 Now I want to go to Vietnam again and I will use Tigit service again.

You made a great video for all people. I still remember you when I rented my Blade in 2017 with Tigit. I started renting but bought it after a few months. Never regretted to buy this bike, so far it has done 69k km. Wonderful to see how the company has grown, keep up the good works!

I've watched a few of your videos and must say that I like what I see (and hear). I'm a very experienced on road biker and am exploring the possibility of a month's rental. Still lots of knowledge to gain before I make a decision but I will contact you via your website when I have a rough plan. Thank you 👍🏼

As always ... great detail on everything you need to know to travel this great country. I've done the HCM to Hanoi twice, once on honda blade then later on a XR. Stick to the 1000km oil changes & service checks & did not have a breakdown nor even a flat tyre (thankfully). Looking forward to using TIGIT next year on another tour. Thanks guys .. keep up the great work

Tigit is amazing. One of those rare companies you can't say anything bad about. Can't wait to come back to Vietnam again some day and do some off-roading this time.

Awesome info, thanks man! A detailed question:
we (a group of 4, me + my gf on 1 bike, and two other friends on separate bikes) are going to visit Vietnam upcoming January/February. From 10 January till 30th January, we thought about going pretty much the whole North (Hanoi start and then going to Sapa, Ha Giang, close to the border of China, then to Ha Long Bay and go back to Hanoi) - so that would be 20 days. Do you have any recommendations on how to handle that on our own (we are experienced SE Asia travelers and know how to ride bikes there) - our main problem is how to handle the backpacks - I'm especially asking for me+my gf as we are going to be on 1 bike haha, while two other friends will ride their own bike and I know they can fit a backpack on the backside. Any solutions for 2 backpacks or if we fit everything in one, what to do with the other backpack these 20 days - maybe possible to leave it in the rental motorbike house in Hanoi? And will even 1 backpack fit with two of us on the bike haha? Thanks once again for taking the time to read, think and hopefully reply :)

You can leave bags in the Hanoi shop. This is fine.
The main advice I can give is that travelers always overpack. Vietnam is very easy to travel, and all hotels have laundry services.
I travel for 7 days out of a 7 litre backpack.
Yet other travelers have 40litre bags.
If you check this channel, I have 3/4 videos on the packing topic.
The XR you can mount the bags horizontally, so yes it will carry a lot of luggage. But it will make the bike drive really badly.
Get a normal-sized hiking backpack, and learn how to pack into it. If you do it right, the two of you combined will have less than your friends :)

Hi team, do you offer scooters lessons in Hanoi?
Also is there such thing as a “scooter” international license or do you need a “motorbike” international license to drive a scooter?

    • @Tigitmotorbikes
      @Tigitmotorbikes  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

We will offer basic lesson in Hanoi, but not an in depth one. From what I know, there is no scooter license.

FYI: You must have a Vietnam drivers license to operate a motobike in Vietnam, AND, you must have motobike insurance. I did not watch the whole video to hear if this was mentioned, but that is the law here. Have an accident without a license and it's clearly not your fault-you will most likely be forced to pay because your are a foreigner and if you were not here the accident would not have happened. Also, if you have even a small incident in a small town or city, the locals will gather around and grab your bike or your keys, or even you until some money is paid. I have seen this happen many times during my 21 years living here. So, its not-just come to an Asian country rent a bike and go and have fun, or it can be until you are stopped by police or in an accident. You will spend the whole time in a 'chance' situation.

It is mentioned in the video, and the market is maturing. Every year that goes by we see more "real motorcyclists" and not "backpackers". It has matured from the Chinese motorbikes, to semi-automatics, and now to bikes like the Honda CB 500x. Companies like Tigit enforce licenses and IDP on the big bikes to scale the fleet via the quantity of drivers being legal.
In the end this is Vietnam, a corrupt country where anything goes. As it develops, the companies and the markets will develop with it. It just takes time and patience.
