The orchestra is, i believe, das Orchester des Berliner Rundfunks, of which Artur Rother was then the director; and the recording (as far as i could ascertain) dates from October 1941.
Date is 1943. It can be found in the DG Centenary Collection 1898-1998 "Wagner scenes and Arias". A sensational recording!
