    Love this technique! I really dislike applying decals so I'm definitely going to try this! thanks for the video.

    I love this technique..it looks so beautiful..How long does it take to dry?

    • @KyongLee
      @KyongLee  6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It really depends on how thickly you apply it. It works best with very fluid polishes. I think I waited about 15 minutes before applying top coat.

    Looks so much easier and faster than applying those rascally decals Kyong. 😜 Thanks for coming up with a different option. Blessings lady. 💐💓

      Kyong I needed a nap after applying those fluid decals to all ten fingers. 😱😳 lol I'm keeping this technique in mind for my next one. 👍🏻👌🏻💓

    Can you powder dip a clear coat over these to protect them?

    • @KyongLee
      @KyongLee  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Probably but I am not familiar enough with dips to be sure. If you try it, please let me know how it went.

      @@KyongLee Lovely. Do you think this can be achieved with Gel polishes as well? If yes, what should be used instead of dance legend. Thank you

    I have OPI black spotted polish. I just wonder what it would do? I may have to try it. I just love how this turned out! So pretty!! Hugs!

      I will as soon as I can. I go tomorrow to have back surgery set up. I am shaking so bad that if I tried it I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. LOL That is some country lingo. :) As soon as I can I will.

      What brush are you using sweetie? And it almost looks like when you first dip the white spotted is running from you. LOL

    • @KyongLee
      @KyongLee  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Lena Payne it's just a cheap brush I got in a set. No name. I think any small brush will work. It did seem to move away. It was easier to pick up the colors.

      Kyong Lee I have the OPI one, I'm going to give it a shot as well and I'll let you know. Does this method work with the Sinful Colors ones? Also, I've been meaning to say this...I have no clue why but for years (has it really been years now that I've known you?) I don't know what I thought you would sound like but it def wasn't this, lol. I can't explain it but the first video that I watched I was slightly surprised, again I have no freaking clue why. Weird musings of my brain. 😆

    How long did it take for this to dry? I live in Houston where the humidity is horrible and nail polish takes FOREVER to dry.

    • @KyongLee
      @KyongLee  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +kellie77381 It didn't take that long. I probably gave it 10-15 minutes and applied quick dry topcoat as usual. I live in a very dry climate though.

    It looks like it would take forever to dry! I've seen people use gel polish with this method, I think that's the best way to go.

    • @KyongLee
      @KyongLee  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It didn't take that long to dry but the magnetic effect wasn't that strong. I don't use gel at all so I was just experimenting with clear polish.

    Hi can u do this with Gelish polish?

    • @KyongLee
      @KyongLee  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Preeti Lackay I think you can but I don't use gel.

    • @heatherwelberry1
      @heatherwelberry1 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Preeti Lackay yes you totally can use gel but you have to be a lot more careful about the thickness that you put it on because it will not cure it it is too thick. Instead you can do it in thin layers cured in between each to make sure they all get completely cured and dry. Sveta Sanders does a video on this technique using gels I believe and she does a little painting, then cures, then does a little more, then cures , and so on. Patience gets it done right you just have to cure it all completely. Hope this helps.
