Note to all new aviators watching this - this is a fantastic study guide, but terrible form for an actual oral exam. Say as little as you need to. The more you offer up, the more you can potentially mess up, and open up a can of worms. If at all possible, if you can answer with a simple “yes” or “no,” do that!
Can’t disagree with that advice! I suspect these guys are both check airman doing a “mock” oral for training purposes. Nevertheless, you are correct. If the check airman asks you what time it is, give him the time. Don’t build the clock! :)

I think this guy flew the A320 before, because it is impossible to get such a good knowledge for 2 weeks ground school and 6 simulator sessions. Or he works for United.
Wow, this is thorough. I noticed at around 35 minutes a possible error. SRS commands V2 or current speed but no greater than V2+15 according to the FCOM I’m referencing.
V2 or v1 which ever comes first implements the SRS which commands 10kts plus or minus providing the speed needed in case of engine failure after v1 or v2. It has a maximum of 15kts max to prevent it from exceeding certain parameters such as the green dot speed where the lift coefficient is at its maximum

The confusing part was the SRS speed indications When on VMAX the speed is limited to plus or minus 6kts When on VMO the speed is limited to plus or minus 10kts And the climb rate of the speed tape on the pfd is 2kts per second

I can answer my own question with why the bloke is saying AUTOTHROTTLE. This is prime material for evidence that people don't like change. This video must have been shot shortly after United began their Airbus operations. Pilots, as we are, don't want to go against the law of primacy, so the douche examiner is hard-wired to say Autothrottle despite Mr. Two-tone insisting on saying the correct AutoThrust.
Thats cause that Fault light doesn't tell you what it's shut down for (could be many things) just that it has auto shut down. So there's no way of him knowing why it shut down.

Great information but in my OPINION this amount of knowledge is not achievable in a 2-3 week indoc. Most orals are Memory Items, Limitations, Overhead Panel at indoc, and not a Phd level discussion on the various airspeeds and autoflight configurations. This video is likely two check airman. Great info indeed tho. MY OPINION

Depends on the carrier using appendix H or AQP. Appendix H usually requires more knowledge without the use of manuals.
