Amazing how the program has grown since the 1970s. Can't say I miss marching in September heat in wool uniforms or shoe-sucking frozen muck in November. Grateful for the high-speed scatter formation-- less to memorize while moving and playing. James Curnow was a brilliant march meister.
I'm always amazed at how UW-EC is able to put a Division I size marching band on the field. The other UW schools, with the exception of Madison, don't even come close to matching Eau Claire's size and talent level.
