2004 Ford Mustang Convertible 40th Anniversary - My Car Story with Lou Costabile

On "My Car Story" we're in Schaumburg IL on 10-10-14 at the Mecun Auction.
We're looking at a 2004 Ford Mustang Convertible 40th Anniversary.
The car's Owner is Dave Brown. Dave is the President of Brown’s Sales & Leasing. He has Ford & Chevy cars, and an RV Center. He has several Dealer locations, one is at 202 S. I have a 04 GT convertible mustang. Yellow with chrome wheels. Fun cars to drive. I always liked the 4th gen mustangs. One of my favorite cars.

How much did this car go for? I have an 04 40th anniversary red with a tan top convertible. The car has the v6.8 but there is no spoiler ever from the factory and I haven't seen one with a tan top. The cost was no were near 15,000.

Just purchased a 2004 v6 40 anniversary for my son. Not convertible. A lot of possible issues like power steering pump $1278.00 , the inside and outside is in beautiful shape no rust at all but I am scared I made a mistake. Hope not. I paid 2500$ . Did I make a mistake.

@@loucostabile I need to hear that. So thank u so much. I use to own a Fox body 5.0 back in 94 but was stolen 2 weeks after I had it in San Antonio. Lol well. I guess as I fix things at least I know what has been done. :)

Absolutely not. I paid 500 for mine, but it wouldn't start, interior front seats not very good, visor liners awful. Figured worth a shot. Only 120k miles. My brother in law inspected before I purchased. Swore he could fix it. Got it. 4 or 5 mechanics disagreed with his prognosis of it needing the brain. He was right. He got the rear end kit done for me, bushings, etc. Good car, just gotta take care and effort.
