A winner doesn’t have to be flashy which is why Derrick was such a good winner, he was a mastermind that played a low profile
That's true. Especially in modern day big brother, where people care excessively about jury management and playing a "clean" game. Unfortunately playing this way is boring to watch and I'd rather watch dirty cutthroat players.
Honestly I'm really glad Derrick won bb 16 cuz honestly he is not only a well rounded players has. a very intelligent mind set
and he was the only the one that really played the game.
@I am the Senate Cody did well, but he was too loyal to win. He might have won another season but his loyalty to Derrick while it did take him to the finals also due to him winning, it lost him the game. Too much loyalty is not good.

Had Derrick lost, I would have said he was robbed. Honestly he should have been in all stars, bb16 didn’t have much competition for him in my opinion

I'm surprised Josh's use of the goodbye messages wasn't up here, because I found that one to be more flashy and effective than Ian's message to Boogie was. Not only did Josh use the messages to tell the truth about his game, but he exposed Paul's game in the process, which ultimately hurt any chances Paul had of winning BB19
I think for Dan's move, it also pinned Ollie as the one in the wrong more than Dan, since Dan would be publicly going against his word (like you said), so he manipulated the POV Ceremony in order to make Ollie be in the wrong

That Mike boogie power move is hands down one of my favorite moments in big brother. Solidified chill town as my fave alliance. And put him in my top 5 players
Derek SHOULD have been #1 the house meeting and along with the fact he played the ENTIRE HOUSE with him NOT saying he was a undercover cop was mind blowing and showed just how damn good he is
I also like how dan subtly brought up the renegades in his *speech* when he nominated Memphis for Ollie, easing some of the doubt Memphis had. Could’ve brought him to the side afterwards, but he threw out their alliance name in front of the whole house and no one caught on.

Brigade: all made f3 (turned on matt) Quack pack: even with dan taking out britney with his funeral, 4 of them made f4. Chilltown: Dr Will + Boogie = Greatness, they were the most obvious duo from the start, yet they still made final 4 until wills ego caught up to him.

I just can't stand Josh. He's no leader. He was essentially Paul's b****. The only good thing about that season was that Paul didn't win. The wild thing is I liked Paul on the previous season. But the second go-round for him I just couldn't stand him. But the second go-around for him I just couldn't stand him.

Dude Boogie's eviction in bb14 was everything.. I was so sad to see him go, but between how iconic the entire ordeal was for Ian, and Britney's hilarious goodbye message, it made the whole thing so good.
I like how about every season theres a person trying to win like Derek and fail Terribley

Dan doing the veto roulette in this day and age people on the internet would scream poor jury management but that move was amazing I think Will is the GOAT but Dan has two of flashier moves in BB history
Whenever people use the acronym "GOAT", I always confuse it with the term goat, and I have to remind myself which is which. Either a crappy player, or a great player. How polar opposite two terms with the same spelling are.
Yeah, but that's what made it work. Derrick would never have tried that move against a smarter player than Zach. Derrick was smart enough to know the situation, and how to turn it to his advantage.
Well, Ollie made the mistake of trusting Dan with Michelle's safety in the game. If Ollie wanted to make sure he and Michelle were truly safe, he should have kept his ass up on that disk. I'd never make a deal like that with the opposite side of the house.
the best part of this video.... the ad beforehand with DR WILL for body sculpting! it was amazing!

If Dan had to play such a nasty, evil, conniving game, he shouldn't have even went there. He should have known how the works. Play hard, play to win. But don't take it too far. Or it will cost you. Dan should've pumped the breaks and just accepted the fact that he was going to be voted out. He had already won. Why couldn't that be good enough for him? He played a good game the first time? Why tarnish your legacy? Dan didn't deserve to win and he should've accepted that long before the final 2.

Danny best of the best. Everyone could of got our Boi Dan out in BB14 so many times. No matter what he said they knew that was a part of his game! But they still kept him in.
Anyone else hoping that Tyler will win HOH for the double eviction tonight then put up Sam & JC with a plan to backdoor Brett, meanwhile Brett wins Veto then uses it on JC?
So ultimately, Tyler is forced to pick between the Kaycee... the girl who he had planned to have a true final 2 with since the very beginning & Angela... the girl who last night literally said “I love you” too Tyler. Then having whoever be chosen sent immediately out of the house.
Either way, that would make for one of the greatest double eviction moments in big brother history. Right up there alongside Ian winning the Veto saving himself to then go on to win the game.
Itd be intresting, but at the same time theyd be stupid not to try and get jc or Casey out with the double eviction, jc being the safe bet, Kaycee being the more bold option.
It's the final six though, so it'd make no sense to try and backdoor anyone. Brett's playing in the veto no matter what, so I reckon Tyler wouldn't risk having to put one of his allies up.
If Tyler has to screw himself, maybe I'll start watching again
Although the scenario has a chance of happening (Brett and JC getting closer, Tyler has no other options for nominations aside from Sam and JC, the only non level six members remaining), I feel he'll throw it because he knows he's safe nonetheless.

Jacob Wright He didn’t tarnish his legacy, he added to it by making the moves he did in Season 14.
He deserved that so bad, probably even more than his first win, which, ironically, is the cause he lost.
Like there were people literally saying they will not vote for someone who's already won, regardless who's next to them. :(
@@georgianab6890 yeah which is stupid because previous wins shouldn't matter. I will say from what I remember though that Ian may have spoke better when questioned by Jury but they were all salty and didn't want a repeat winner anyways

@ReginaaaLoveee Lol! Tyler made way too many f2 deals, and his jury management wasn't all there, He came off a little cocky when he was giving his final speeches which was his downfall. Kaycee, Stayed loyal to the level 6 Alliance and won veto and HOH at all the right times.
Alicia Cleeland she didn’t deserve it over Tyler though,Tyler ran the game and masterminded every eviction l,still won competitions and had a good social game,
Emeric Nicol I couldn’t agree more. Tyler ran the whole game, had everyone on his side and used them when he needed them. He played the whole house for the entire season and everyone still saw him as a friend. Kaycee showed up in the last few weeks in comps, had no strategic moves and rode the alliance the whole game. She deserves second place for those comp wins, but in no way should anyone on that season, especially Kaycee, have won over tyler

Wow seeing that Season 14 clip with Ian made me really miss the old Big Brother, where people werent afraid to make huge moves and take risks. While people could also respect that game play.

Ian's wasn't that flashy though. I mean, like you said with Derrick, he could have whispered sweet nothings instead of do stuff in front of the other house guests, but that's what Ian did. The other four did things in front of the other house guests that put them more at risk, but Ian just made a behind the door move.
I was really happy to see Mike Boogie’s moment on here. Those last stretch of Big Brother All-Stars was epic and the win was well-deserved.

The problem with the Andy move was that he didn’t really convince anyone. McCrae admitted during his DR that he knew it was Andy, but he wanted a way to work his way back into the group left in the house, which honestly was his own mistake.
Andy was nothing but a floater that made an alliance of 4 when there was 7 people left. That’s all.

Here's a video idea:
Using Unconventional Approach to Strategize - inspired by how timeouts are used in the NFL as a game strategy (to avoid delay of game penalty). This can go from using Nakomis' 6 player veto pick to backdoor a bigger threat in season 5, to Josh's GBMs to rally the troops to go against Paul in season 19. Using elements of the game that are not necessarily thought of as a game strategy as a method to advance the player further into the game.
Ian was a terrible winner only behind Andy. Jury voted against Dan not for Ian.
Derek Barnard that's why i think dan was lucky in season 10 that the person he was sitting next to was also horrible (meaning back stabbing and such) but I loved it and he deserved to win both his seasons

Jacob Wright Dan undoubtedly played the best game in season 14 and he improved his legacy by making it to final 2 twice. At least he won 50k the second time around 🤷♂️

Derrick is a trained professional. As a law enforcement / undercover cop, he was trained to lie, out-smart, manipulate, psychologically dissect people and being able to manage high stress situations. Of course he won. Especially given who he played against. #NoBrainer

A new flashy move happened today 9/13. Angela said I call this being one step ahead when she had the veto and took JC off and Tyler said this is being 2 steps ahead and put up one of their alliance members for wanting to go after them. Brett. Idk why but this was super exciting to me and I kinda saw it coming but it was still amazing!

Big Brother should only ask back players that make good tv otherwise we have the situation that we have this year. Big Brother should make it clear when they are interviewing possible candidates. Johnny Carson never had guests back on who didn’t talk. If they just sat there and said yes and no. TV has had this policy for a long time.
