I watched a vid of a professional race car driver and he drove the EcoBoost and the GT around the same race track back to back. His verdict...The EcoBoost is a sports car and the 5.0 is a muscle car. I understand exactly what he means and I would buy the EcoBoost. Carrol Shelby himself said you can't really use more than 300 hp. in the street. Not and keep your license. Also every single aspect of this car makes it far less to own than the GT. Insurance is significantly less per year. Tires are cheaper. Brakes are cheaper. The Ecoboost takes 6 quarts of oil. The GT 10. The EcoBoost gets over 30 mpg on the highway. In my opinion is is an excellent "street" car that will indeed be both faster and quicker than 75 to 80% of the traffic you are likely to encounter on a daily basis.
I thought it was my computer, but looks like there might be a video processing issue at 5:37. Audio still comes through but the frame freezes until 6:26.
I got the same car without the Recaro seats, and I love it. I drive a lot for work during the week, but I look forward to driving my Mustang on the weekend. Took a 5-hour drive to Biloxi, MS and felt I go another 5 hours it was so comfortable. Fast, Fun and great looking, can't ask for anything more. 😎
Hard to say given we didn’t drive one without. Definitely nice to have if you’re going to mix daily driving with performance driving often. Generally a fixed rate setup will have a compromise in some way by comparison. Just depends if it’ll be a little harsh for street use or a little soft on track.
It looks like a truly good drivers car, though I still lament the lack of the manual being offered. The auto might be better in nearly every way, but there is still something about rowing your own gears even if it does have it's flaws comparatively.
The 2024 Ford Mustang EcoBoost beats anything from the original muscle days so why send the extra money on the GT with more horsepower you really do not need.
Ford needs to bring back the option for a manual transmission for the ecoboost. Sure, not too many people drive the manual. I bought my 2018 base ecoboost with the MT82 transmission because I like rowing my own gears. It is my daily driver, and it isn’t hard to drive in stop and go traffic - especially since I swapped out the OEM clutch spring for the Steeda clutch spring.
Great review! Did you know that Sofyan from Redline Reviews is one of us aka a MSM? I would love to have you both do a collaborative review together, call it a pride month special! Who knows, maybe you both will end up marrying!
Lol. Any Mustang that isn’t a Shelby is trash in the corners. An Ecoboost Mustang is probably one of the worst “corner carver” coupes ever made. Body roll, numb steering, no feedback. So many better options. It isn’t a corner carver
That is certainly An Opinion. Just sharing my own thoughts based on what I experienced over 1,500 miles and five days in the mountains. They're good, I promise.

It's a video issue, sorry about that!

Congrats! The Recaros were nice for back roads but probably smart to go without if you're doing road trips. Enjoy it!
Love that !
4.48 0-60 on my ecoboost 2024 premium
I also love the active exhaust
is there Diffirent exhaust modes
No one cares dude. Trying to impress men on the internet
@@19hundoc47 why are you surprised when you watched a video about the ecoboost and see people commenting abt how they enjoy their ecoboost?💀
@@19hundoc47I care
I’m considering ecoboost with performance pack but no magna ride. Do you think magna ride is worth it as a daily driver?

Only put a performance pack on a GT V8. Save your money for 1

I think muscle cars or sports cars have always been more about want than need.
@@ALMX5DPthis exactly
@@ALMX5DPExactly. No one really needs more than 200hp in a car that weighs under 4000 pounds
Just doesn't feel right
Because we have the $ to get a V8 lol

I’m surprised no one has put un equal length headers on this eco Stangs
they dont have exhaust manifolds. the turbo bolts directly to the head.
Nice review but it should be nicer if it was a pov drive.
Agreed - had some camera issues so had to make do with what we had. Sorry!
The price is not good. For 45k you can get the GT with some options.
Yeah, you start to cross over into GT territory the way this one was built.
