You hate to hear of things like that happening, but unfortunately, it does, which proves how cruel the sport of Motocross can be at times. As for Austin Stroupe, I think he just was hit by a bad luck spell, and rumor had it he wasn't getting along with everyone at Pro Circuit Kawasaki, which caused him to leave for Team Suzuki. When he injured himself at Houston 2010 and didn't race Motocross, I felt that he suffered the same fate as Buddy Antunez after 2002 (Suzuki turned a blind eye on him). Antunez was forced to return to Arenacross, and Stroupe let the party lifestyle take over him.

My guess is that no team signed him after Yamaha of Troy went out of business, and Bowers was kind of "forced" to Arenacross.
john wayne I'm afraid they did -- JLaw then formed his own team for 2009, which resulted in arguably his most embarrassing year ever.
