My 1989 Nissan Bluebird Turbo had the same engine. It would give 137 HP on its best days. The dashboard, door handles, switches were identical. What a great car it was. Cars were lightweight and easy to drive, without annoying modern gadget that "help your driving". Thank you guys for sharing that beautiful discovery with us. Cheers from Canada.
That model is known as a S12 Nissan Silvia where i'm from. I remember when they launched. i LOVED the shape of them, and still think it's a good looking car. I'm excited to follow this project. ..but mostly i'm excited to have you back here in The Tubes. You have been missed.
My dad bought a gray ‘84 200SX Turbo new. He chose it over the ‘84 RX-7 since he loved how the boost came on above 3500 rpm. I loved driving it and the style was so Japanese transformer-like long before Transformers were a thing. I remember that the turbo started burning oil fairly early in its life even though it had coolant-cooled bearings. Synthetic oils were not part of the service routine back then. I also recall we had the analog gauge package. Looking forward to your progress!
I know this is an older video. 4 valves per cylinder, dual plug per cylinder. There are two rails in the head that hold the rocker arms. These rails WILL break and bolts WILL pull out of the head if you drive hard. Yes, I had one and have had to Helicoil the bolts a couple of times because once it starts to happen, it continues to happen until the head is replaced. Mine was a maroon 84 200sx turbo and one of my more favorites from my past. I haven't had it since the early 90's. If you ever want to sell, I WILL buy it.
Nissan just loves them a questionable valvetrain! We just got the car plated and ready to start the body restoration. Been quite an undertaking but love getting these older rides back out in the wild.
Yo! Where can I go to find your previous automation/BeamNG livestreams? I tried checking your YT and Twitch, but I don’t see many there. Am I missing something?
Sadly they were mostly lost to the sands of time thanks to the great twitch VOD DMCA purge, we'll be doing more shortly though! There's a few survivors if you look through the highlights on twitch though, www.twitch.tv/videos/1422299877 www.twitch.tv/videos/1422305847 for example.
An S12 in general? It took me about a year of searching to find this one. Lots of coupes out there, but super hard to find the hatchbacks. Sadly they were not very appreciated/well kept so many have met the crusher.

Have I officially been dethroned in the RWP Top Mistake Maker category?
I think you still got it
Still TBD, let's see how this one goes :)
Love ❤It. I had the Silver Datsun 200SX 2 Door with the trunk model. The hatchback is definitely sporty.
Love the upholstery. Can’t wait to see you bring this car back to life. Merry Christmas, Cone!
This is the absolute best news

This will be a heck of a project but well worth it. Wish you the very best with it. I love that this is something unique.
I'm a simple man, I see moss I like the video.

RWP is the biggest mistake maker of all time. That's a proper nugget you've got here.
O shit son
Want an ‘87 Audi 5000CS Turbo 5spd project??
That sounds like a whole new electrical gremlin disaster for me...
TELL ME MORE! lol
120 HP and 134 ft-lbs of torque
I expected really little from it, but after getting it going it's really not as anemic as I expected.
