I was "dumpster diving" recently and found a jewelry box full of jewelry. There was gold, silver, and copper jewelry in it, along with some vintage silver cuff links. It was crazy. 😮
The gold nugs were from glass mini jar probably And the striped thingy you pushed aside looks like a vintage belt buckle it hair clip piece. Could it have been Bakelite ? You didn’t show us enough of that piece.
I’m 68 yo- when we were kids, we would go “gold panning” at certain parks or recreation centers in California. At the end of our adventure we were given a glass vial, similar to yours, filled with the “nuggets”( sometimes more like flakes😂) The bottle to take home. Mine was on the windowsill in my bedroom until I got married and left home. 🫣my sister and would argue over who had the most gold in their bottle🙈
I'm pretty sure your gold nuggets was what was inside your little glass jar. I grabbed a $5 bag of jewelry at an estate sale back in December after a quick glance while I was paying for my other items. It ended up having a beautiful gold bracelet in it with an extremely rare 24kt gold coin attached. Still trying to figure out exactly how much this coin is worth other than the scrap, because it is so rare it's not coming up online (it does in a different metal, but not gold).
Ay I love your content Couz. That Long Island postcard, is Long Island in Boston Harbor area not Long Island New York. I thought you may have said NY. Also has tye Boston cancellation. At any rate, keep up the great content. I’
Hi Rusty.. I am enjoying your site. I inherited a lot of jewelry. I have one set a necklace and earrings from my great Aunt . I am wondering if I could send you a picture. I think it is costume but could be the late 1800’s or early 1900. Thank you
What is the best way to mail a vintage card and get a tracking number? I paid way too much just for a tracking number that you have to have for Ebay, Post office charged 10,00 to ship that card I sold for 15.00 Just to have the tracking! unreal!. Thank you for your videos!
I am not good with selling but can find good resellable items . I can see every one is super busy but i am still looking for someone to do consignment. Let me know because you are very good with what you do.
Always grab the Cutco knives. If you google them they have a sort of diamond shaped handle that's fairly distinctive. They stand out once you know what they look like.
The glass vile was where the gold nuggets are from. Prob from knotts berry farm in California. I’ve got two of them.
I got them all over ca I was born and raised there and there are so many places u can get those
Sold in many gold prospecting towns.

MB Marcel Boucher..very expensive costume jewelry and gold filled should bring quite a bit. Boucher is very collectable!
You got a great deal on that 50 cent bag. Love it!

I was thinking the same thing about the gold chunks came in the glass bottle.
I love how genuine you are and you aren't constantly trying to sell us stuff. You are the best
Those were snowshoes in the photo postcard. I used them often in my younger years.
Those little nuggets were probably in the little glass vial in water and a stopper. Commonly sold in souvenier shops at gold prospecting towns.
love your enthusiasm
Rusty, can you make a video on how you clean up some pretty dirty, but profitable jewelry. Fine and costume. Please
Great idea
Rusty, how do you clean pieces you find, ultrasonic, buffing wheel etc. ?

Sure. Send any pictures to slickwebmedia@gmail.com.
The Long Island by night post card could well be one of the many coastal islands in New England.

It may be mercury glass
Those little glass vials at 16:04 might be mercury glass.

The gold fill bracelet is missing the safety chain. I sold one similar to this one but it was even close to $50. If I recall it was under $20.
I noticed how very green the grass is?! Is that normal for this time of year? What city?
The gold nuggets were in the small bottle.
Those nugs orobably came from glass vial??maybe it was someones stash of scrap precious ?
Another great video! I think we might be reselling soul mates.
Full tang. Important.
I google lensed the glass bottles and a lot of old medicine bottles came up.
Gold pieces were in that empty bottle
Rusty, how can you test a real pearl ?
That bottle prob had iodine in it.
When i see knives i pass cause i don't know what I'm looking for.
