Thanks for posting this. We stayed at the Hotel Schoenbrunn back in Fall 2018. This brings back memories of our walks around the neighbourhood. Loved cafe Dommayer, typical vienna caffee house without the tourists. This area is the perfect stay outside of downtown after a busy day in the city. Go for a walk in the Schlosspark for some relaxing outdoors.

I had lived in this district for 2 months before I returned back to my country. Now I really miss this time and I miss Wien. I would like to ask you if it possible could you please make a video of walking of Auhofstraße. This is the 13th district as well. I had lived on this street. I will be so thankful to you for it!!!
Hello! Thank you for your comment! I am happy to comply with your request and also go for a walk on Auhofstrasse. However, please be patient. Unfortunately, Vienna is currently in the second lockdown. The infection numbers with Covid-19 are too high.
The 13. Bezirk is where I live... in my wildest dreams and fantasies. Thank-you so much for this. Looking forward to when you film my other fantasy Bezirk, the 19th. (Also, even though it's 14C outside, everyone is so bundled up!!)
and in summer go to the Gloriette, sit there with my friends-or go to the zoo and draw the big cats. they had a rhino named Burly, it was my favourite when i was a little child. we went to the zoo almost every sundayx.

Vienna was bombed by the allied in WW2? It seems that most buildings have been over 100 years history. The same type trams are running in some cities in Japan.(Maybe they were imported from the same manufacturer.) Scenes of Vienna always make me relaxed. Thank you!
Vienna was bombed yet most of the destruction happened during the battle of Vienna when the Soviets captured it after pushing back our troups for years through thousands of kilometres of destroyed land, towns and cities. You can imagine they were not prissy finally pushing into the land of their enemies. Luckily the city was out of reach for the massive bomber raids from the UK. In the end one seventh of all apartments was lost and of course most of the industry and lots of infrastructure including all the Danube bridges.
I remembered this district..my husband and I worked at our customer there ..my husband has his Electric ⚡️ office in Vienna.i remembered ..we parked our van beside the beautiful house 🏡..
This Texas boy is going to Vienna Nov/Dec 2021. Excited to get there!
