If u compare Care before when Stefan was alive with her clothes, she would wear colorful ones but after he died, it was just black. She will always love Stefan no matter what, her kiss with Klaus was just a goodbye. She loves Klaus as a friend but she will remain with the name Salvatore until she is ready to die.

Not to say that these ships didn't have their beautiful moments but steroline was written with so much care and love I feel, and they were not obligated to do so. Steroline was not really the biggest vocal fandom. Plus it was really great to me that they gave stefan tbe opportunity to move on and fall in love. Most writers on shows don't do that. Because by the end of s4, I was like why do I even care who Elena picks? Why does she get to choose lol. I was like Stefan I love you, but you love this? 😂 I think I went a bit off topic here.
