As a french student in gemmoly in ING school i'd like to thank you for your honnesty and transparency because it's "easy" to study the propertys and the origins of stones but to find prices on thoese things it's an other things. Money is quite taboo in my country and no teachers tell us about prices, maybe because it's not really established like diamond you know. But hey, thank you and keep it up !! I'd love to see some saphir, rubies, spinels, ect video from someone that is in the business from kilometers like you. Big up 💪❤
i am a brand new learner to all of this i have learnt a lot so far but have barely scratched the surface compared to most knowledgeable people so appreciate all the info i can take in so thank you for your time and effort to make the videos you do dude.
Thank you so much for the explanantion its very helpful. I do come across a good number of gemstones here in the emerald country and this guidance does really help me.
How much does a smaller carat weight lower the price per carat? For example a very small stone that is on the high end of quality, natural and untreated, and would usually cost ~$2,000/ct, but weighs around 0.20 ct instead of 2 ct
Let me get this straight. Let's say you buy a 300/ct gemstone. Now my question is how to guarantee a higher price when selling. If you say negotiation, ok I get it? But are there any factors effecting prices? For instance Gold. Has many factors playing role in pricing. Is it the same for gems? I hope I get an answer to my questions
