This show was so unexpected. I just tried it on a whim cause I didn't have anything else to watch and ended up falling in love with it right away. The refreshing communication between the couple, no misunderstandings, both Xie Xie Chen and Mu Xuan Ling were straightforward and never waivered in their love and mutual understanding of their loved ones desire and needs. Even though I was least interested in Zhao Ming and Pearls story, I loved how neither were controlling. Pearl was Zhao Ming's to have and Zhao Ming never belonged to Pearl. I loved Pearl's quote to Demon Lord Zhao Ming that only he can decide who he wants to be. I felt sad for them that, after saving the universe they had to go relive all the past 10,000 years of loneliness and torture. And the Pearl didn't say goodbye to the OG Zhao Ming (is he really OG or is Demon Lord really the OG OG XD I don't even know, but glad that Demon Zhao Ming got to reunite and get closure with Pearl. And even more happy that they still will find each other again as Xie Xue Chen and Mu Xuan Ling. (I'm guessing Demon Lord Zhao Ming let the main soul of Xie Xue Chen take over and now they lived happily ever after).

@ Well, this is fantasy, in real life when someone dont like us if the person doesnt open the heart nothing we can do will make that person love us. Being reslient in some cases is wrong.
@@annak.5477 I disagree. It depends on the type of resilience in real life. You can still love someone and support them and hope maybe one day they’ll see you that way. That’s the point of unrequited love in reality. What you can’t do is be like the FL here. Because it’s fantasy she can get away with a lot. In real life she’d have been arrested for assault or he’d file a restraining order lol
@@Jatsuki Lol, yeah. Anyway, in real life, this kind of persistence is a waste of time because we can never truly know if someone will love us romantically. It’s okay to try, but being in love for years without reciprocation? (In lot of dramas and stories this happen a lot.) I really don’t understand. Instead of opening their hearts to love others, they insist on loving someone who may never return their feelings. It seems foolish. They become fixated on one person, but our hearts are big enough to love others romantically-if we allow it. Love is a choice.
I believe we should be resilient in pursuing achievable goals, but human emotions are not something we can control. Relationships should be built with people who reciprocate our feelings, and once that connection is established, we should do our best to nurture it. But if someone doesn’t feel the same, it’s best to let go.
That said, in fantasy, it’s fun to indulge in this kind of craziness.
@ you sound like maybe you’ve never been in a one-sided love before 😅. The human heart and mind do not always follow logic. It’s easy to say you shouldn’t focus on someone who doesn’t love you back, because that’s obvious common sense. Don’t waste your time and love. But the heart wants with the heart wants, and it doesn’t follow reason.

the way we both did 32/33 minutes... 😅 when I started doing mine I thought I could make it short but little did I know, it would be impossible!!😆
But now back to your edit. This is *AMAZING!* You always make *incredible* their story edits, I'm amazed on how you can chose the perfect scenes to tell the story and keep it linear -(I'm always going back and forward with mine, i just can't make it linear like you)-
When I finished this drama I knew you would be making one and, as always, you did not disappoint!!

guuuurl, when I was on maybe ep....30 or so i was like...i'm gunna try to keep this down to like, 28 min or so...but then the story was just SO complex I was like...ahhh crap ^.^; so i'm surprised i got it even this short XD and aww thank you ^.^ for shorter their story edits i'll often bounce around mixing stuff between maybe 2 eps our of order to try to tell the story in a shorter fashion, but with this one i was so focused on trying to get all the relationship developments crammed in there that i stayed mostly linear - i also made this whole thing in 14 hours and in ONE sitting...i don't recommend haha so i didn't even give myself much time to get creative. I'm so happy we got to enjoy this show together!!!

@@b_hope1998 haha I know I was sitting there clipping scenes to eventually make this and was like oh man, how am I gunna keep this under 30 min ☹️🤔 I just couldn’t haha. But not counting time clipping, I made this whole thing in 1 sitting. It took 14 hours 😅 why did I do it all at once? No idea 😂 RIP my wrist though 🤣
chinese dramas always have beautiful pairings and graphic but 40 episodes? 😭 i even struggle to watch 12 episodes kdramas. good thing videos like this exist so i dont need to watch the whole drama
