Amazing car. Friends don’t understand why I bought an Astra but I tell them there is a reason it won car of the year. And then I let them take it for a spin. Minds changed...
Really impressive libe I've test driven the same astra here in the UK vauxhall they called not Opel but the same thing' a 1.6t and it's very very impressive and cheaper than a golf of the same spec...keep up the good work.
From a huge VW fan, the latest Astra is definitely better than a Golf, Renault and the Focus in the same class. For the money, it's even better than the Audi, BMW and the Mercs.... And I've driven them all. If you don't agree, please don't hate. First just go and test-drive one.
I have the previous J model- with 36k on the clock. Using the cruise control the fuel consumption drops to an insanely low 4.85 l per 100 @ 110 km p/h on the straight. I've had some good cars, Polo 6 included. This car is way more enjoyable than them all. looking forward to buying this model.
well priced for what you get if you have to compete with the equivalent VW Golf. Bru once you married you will understand duel zone climate control.. the sound system is impressive for banging some DRAKE! i like the things you like and dont like keep them reviews coming!
Hey Bud, Please try to feature the 1.6T version of this vehicle, I had the previous Astra J GTC and that car was amazing itself will heated seats etc, just very much under powered like a lot under powered, so would really like a feature on the 1.6T
Your video of the 2018 opel corsa 1.4t sport was the reason I went for it 6 months ago. But now have my eye on a 2016 opel astra 1.4t sport with more bells and whistles, my issue I've got is I don't want to "in my eyes" feels like a downgrade, but in your honest opinion would you do it? Would the astra as seen on Google economy figures be better with fuel consumption as opposed to the 2018 1.4t sport I have which is a bit on the thirsty side?
Honestly I’m all for it! Electric cars are becoming extremely fast and also makes a lot of sense. Looking forward featuring the BMW i3 here on Liberebil.
Opel is on drugs 4 R390k i can pick up a low mileage f30 4 that. That whole car is scratched up. On all the door panels seats and boot. Thats a sign of the cheapest material ever. Sumthing ull find on a tata or cherry. Thats so bad. And the car looks like sumthinh that will b outdated in 2 years. It will look like a 10year old car. And thats what makes a car good quality. There is no features in that car. The dash is so kaalgat. Buy a ford instead.
I ditched a 2015 Focus for a 2019 Astra Elite 1.6t petrol. Do not regret the decision in anyway, the Astra is a better car in almost every way bar handling and even then its marginal and it’s certainly much more comfortable than the Focus, the VW/Focus blended is an accurate descriptio. The Elite is absolutely the model to go for, front/rear heated leather seats, heated steering wheel, dual zone climate control, 8 inch Navi 900 system, and there’s soft touch on the doors and an arm rest in the back, back seat passengers also get USB ports in addition to heated seats, very handy for charging devices on longer journeys.

It's the best hatchback for the money and a complete all-rounder
Definitely not a premium brand
Great review. This car is definitely on my wishlist for next year. I'm waiting for the new corsa first.
Thanks!

Hi! Indeed I’ve scheduled the 1.6T with Reeds Claremont.

What do you think about cars going 48volt mild hybrid, full electric just like the Tesla, Audi e-tron, Mercedes new EQC and a normal hybrid?
Honestly I’m all for it! Electric cars are becoming extremely fast and also makes a lot of sense.
Looking forward featuring the BMW i3 here on Liberebil.
In going to test drive this👍😝
Please do
No better brand 🚙 them since the ascona gsi ....till now with astra J sport 1.6 turbo....had them all since 1984 model
391k, come on, it looks like a Citroen.
🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
What accent is that mate?
I’m South African
@@libeRebil I am getting this car.
What mpg you get? Is 1.4T quick city / hightway?
yeah..... not worth for almost R 400 000
Don't get me wrong I love Opel but for that price..... I would rather get a mid suv brand new
Price a 2019 SUV with all these features
@@libeRebil renault kadjar. Nissan quasqai. Opel crossland or moka. You can easily get any mid suv for that price with full specs
@@libeRebil just to add to my collection. The ford kuga is also in that range. So it does not make sense to pay R400k for this opel astra hatch...
