So when does scute triggers >= 91? 91=2*(2^x) x = more than 5 (5.50), so at least 6 land drops with scute out. So the 6th Nadu land flip with first scute in play WILL allow you to draw your deck and put all lands in your deck into play untapped just with all the potential triggers you will have. So! Maybe a shortcut we could agree upon would be to say, with win on board and no interaction "I'm trying to hit at least 6 lands, and from there I will finale with all the lands in my deck and between 50 and 150 million +X/+X scutes. Or cast thoracle." this is my quick contribution to Winged Wisdom (TM)

I think what Kyle is saying is that once you hit your 6th land from Nadu triggers, there are enough Scutes to guarantee enough Nadu triggers to put your whole deck into your hand and all your lands into play. Long story short, if you can trigger Nadu and get 6 more lands into play, it's a guaranteed win

Once you have had 6 landfall triggers with Scute Swarm making copies of itself, you will have enough targets to get Nadu triggers off of to go through every card in your deck. So at that point you can factually shortcut to "I have all my lands in play, all my spells in hand and (almost certainly) an unreasonable number of Scute Swarm tokens" and just explain your win from there.
Interesting! The chance of victory is still absurdly high by the time you hit your 5th copy-all-scute-swarms landfall trigger (32 scute swarms + nadu himself = 66 nadu triggers minimum total for the turn, with at least 32 nadu triggers remaining to occur from the 16 new scutes), but by the 6th time you double your swarm, you can draw your whole deck, even if somehow there’s no more landfall triggers at all (64 scute swarms + nadu = 130 nadu triggers total for the turn). Thanks a ton!

It's inherently flawed, and there will always be a huge disparity between said games. Having said that, it's less about the decks and more about the player, to be honest. You can have a "fair" deck, and still play like a piece of shit, or have a super powerful deck and still play in a fair and enjoyable game. It's too hard to judge a game of commander on the outside to be honest. I am not saying I haven't seen you bring a too powerful deck to the table, but it's not your fault. If people simply don't care and are chill about the power disparity, then so be it. Thats what people simply can't grasp, I guess. I agree it sometimes look pretty whack on camera, so I guess a good way to combat this is just to state that "yes we did rule 0 this game, stfu" or something as a intro would be something, at least then they can't constantly blame you for something that is outside of your control. Just voicing my thoughts ^^

the meta speeding up creates this weird responsibility where blue players kind of have to look for interaction or else they might not even untap after casting their t2 value engines. it's kind of great for the parasitic non-blue decks (that arent turbo) that get to sit there and capitalize off the blue players being forced to police the turbo players
in theory. but these games show that you have a big weakness to turbo decks when you're on a non-blue midrange plan. if joe was playing blue he may have been able to stop cam or dylan in either of those games, instead had to rely on the other two players to have it.

I've been jamming Mardu a lot lately and my favorite pods have one or two blue players trying to hold back a rog si while I get to just grind value and silence them after rogsi gets stopped. So I am very dependent on either blue police, mulling for fast wins, or something like an early ranger captain that can hold back the turbo player. Orims chant has been a nice tempo silence tool
I feel like these two creature-based combos highlight the opposite--these combos could be policed by non-blue decks in a way that more traditional spell-based decks never could. Swords, Path, Dismember, Rollick, Cut Down (for Codie), Fatal Push, Snuff Out, Fury, Solitude, and Flare of Malice are all 0 or 1-cost removals that could deal with those creatures outside of blue. Not to mention the huge amount of cheap artifact hate that could hit Codie. CEDH is always going to be combo-heavy, but a proliferation of creature-based combos makes it more possible than ever for colors other than blue to police them. It just means that people actually have to start bringing that interaction, and stop playing decks that have 20 ways to counter instants and 2 creature removals (if that) like was popular in cEDH for a while.
It would be cool to see you so some sort of tournament where you have different "regions" like stax, ad naus, ballista, etc. Then crown the best deck based off who wins the tournament

Could be wrong but @2:25 when cam only had nadu out you can’t unequip nadu that’s already attached to the umbra mantle and get a second trigger if nadu is the only creatures equipment don’t have an unequip then re equip unless it says so or unless you have another creature to attach it too
You don't have to "unequip" something to equip it. The full rules of equip is "Attach this permanent to target creature you control. Activate only as a sorcery.” (Rule 702.6a). That's it--it just has to be a creature you control. No restriction about not being able to target the creature already equipped by it. It may not make in-universe sense to pick up a sword you're already holding, but plenty of interactions have little wonky parts like that. But it's definitely not a mistake or misplay. The only time you can't do that is with Lightning Greaves, because it gives the creature shroud and makes it untargetable.

at 2:10 , can you unequip umbral mantle with only one creature in play? I thought equipment had to be equipped to another creature to get it unequipped.

Someone explain to me profane tutor and Codie. Why doesn't it have the suspend counters on it?
he cast it with Codie ability bc it technically has less than 1 mana, so he gets to skip the suspend part since he isn't activating the suspend ability on the card
