@tpvalley Because they use flat-plane crankshafts rather than the split-plane crankshaft you'd ordinarily find in a V-8. So rather than a uniquely V-8 sound, a Ferrari engine sounds like two 4s. It has to do with the order in which the cylinders fire, which is down to the shape of the crankshaft. All Ferrari V8s are designed this way.
@lebojay I dont uinderstand. they still fire evenly though right, as in fires 8 times in 720 degrees, ( fires every 90 degrees), so why isnt exhaust note just the same as a normal v8? I ask because my brother just bought one, having trouble with immobiliser at moment or starter motor circuit, any advice? he gets dream car and it wont start after 24 hours!! he was devastated. it works now but its a worry.
