Considering Albion had played a tough game against Burnley only 48 hours earlier I was pretty pleased not only with the two goals we finally managed to score but the fact the team managed to keep going. We are also playing with a makeshift defence as we have lost three CB's inside a few days, so all things considered it was a good day for us. Got a lot of time for Hull and the fans, but as an outsider I do not know why you got rid of Rosenior. Seemed a strange decision to a lot of non-Hull fans.
Regarding your points on substitutions: WBA made all their subs to slow the game down and break up any momentum Hull were trying to create. As for Walter only bringing on three subs (Bedia in the final minute or so) maybe this indicates a view within the club/coaching set up that the bench isn't capable of instigating a positive impact. Certainly, the scatter-gun approach to recruitment suggests a mix bag of quality. Rather, I'd say playing players out of position and being unwilling to adapt the formation or tactics is having more of a detrimental impact on the team and results.
When you can see a change on the horizon, you want something to be stable. We knew, going into this season, that the squad was going to go into a huge upheaval. The idea of bringing in a new manager was bonkers because we'd have nothing stable at the club. Any manager worth their salt would have turned that job down straight away. When Walter goes it will lay the groundwork for someone else to build a foundation, but it is going to have to be built in collaboration with the squad we have, not on some daft philosophy built off the manager's ego. We are going to need humility and grit without which we will be relegated for sure.
Played well today, but not go enough....We need 5 chances to score one goal. This ratio will not save Hull City from relegation, but Walter will still be here right into March.
@@CaptainperfectionI'd be interested to know exactly what happened at Coventry to explain their recent slump after their recent successes in the league and cup runs.
I nearly watched all hull games last season and I watched the game today. I could not believe my eyes. only remaining players from last season 27, 5, 30. I do not understand after last season success why there was a need to be change in all rosters and the manager? it was pure amateur move from club management
I believe the over-use of the loan market last season and some high profile signings was made on the assumption that Hull would win promotion and therefore be able to keep the players for another season at least and maybe sign a few with the boost to finances promotion brings. That they didn't means City were essentially starting the season with a squad of lesser quality.
Believe me guys I dont care if it is on loan or anything. If you lose 8 of your line ups last season, it shows nothing but poor management. What about liam the manager? Was he on loan too or ceo tan kesler removed from the job too. It is obvious things not going well for tigers
Get phil brown back at least he would sing us a song to keep us entertained.....this is going from bad to worse and although we are bereft of luck..you have to make your luck first....i predicted a 4-0 drubbing so glad i was wrong about that. 🐯🧡🖤
That’s why he’s still there a week later the owner has no intention of getting rid of Tim Walter.he was a total idiot to get rid of rosenior and most of the team.just because they failed to get into the playoffs.total suicide.hull will struggle this season .to stave of relegation.they need Tim Walter sacked
@lennyverne4948 Tbh he would be a good boost for us but to answer your question to solve this season we need to sign a 6 and a lb then in the summer a 9,cbs finally a rw

Great video
I missed this game yet again 🤦🏻♂️ I say the stats possession and shots our favor…. Yet still a loss shame but I think it’s time to send Walter out.
Get Mark Robbins in he will change us around
He won't
@des8039 what Mark did for Cov was amazing but Acun will ignore that sadly

They were all on loan and went back to there club and the ones who weren't on loan signed for bigger clubs. And poor signings

Its not rock bottom yet.....but boy is it coming. This is another Shota show.
Walter ain't going anywhere sadly. Sounds like acun is happy with how things are going
Grow up!
I don't think this is rock bottom yet. Remember Wigan 8 Hull 0. We're going nowhere and we all know it.

Oxford on Tuesday was worse, TW won’t go anywhere, Acun isn’t bothered anymore
