i enjoy 22 i think it's a very good game sure still needs fixing in certain area's but never the less it's good but i agree that it doesnt compare to older game's since these had personatitly and special move's had so much character to them

Smackdown HCTP is the GTA San Andreas of wrestling games 🔥🔥🔥
Only thing that that i hate about HCTP is that bloody tired animation that your wrestler makes when your body turns red and it pisses me off to no end. 🤦♂️
Oh boy does it make me rage so hard every time i play HCTP and my body turns red and i have to watch that infuriating "tired" animation.

This game needs to get remastered!
The animations in HCTP are still unmatched. Not only for devastating they look, but how each move captures the essence of the wrestlers it's based on.
Goldberg's spear looked like it would kill a man, just like IRL. Benoit's headbutt could knock out both himself and his opponent. Lesnar's F5 executed with raw power like he's tossing around a piece of meat. The list is endless.
Honourable mention to the sfx. They add just as much to the impact.
And no dlc packs all wrestlers for free u just have to play for them absolutly no money mhhmmhh i miss my childhood so much 😢

I miss this game so much! It may never get a re master but if it does and they added community creations it could be the greatest wrestling game EVER!!!

This game is better than any non-AKI game. Simples as that.
Back in the day, and still a bit today, SmackDown Here Comes The Pain acts as a means to solidify Kayfabe for the real wrestling. I remember how dead seriously I took WWE after the first time playing HCTP.

this game always make me smile..it is funny..other wwe game not even close with this one..funny game and rock music..so enjoyable.

I think you just hit the finisher button when you have a chair with Taker. Taker did it in real life from late 2001-2002 so it was added into games around that time.
