The term "两" was translated to English as 2 (months left of pregnancy). From what I've seen, this term can be 2 or "some, few". From what I've researched, months in China have 29-30 days and the year has 354-355 days. I don't think this difference would affect the calculation that much, so I imagine it was a mistake in the translation, but I'm not sure. I would like to know as I am starting to study Mandarin and I want to know more about the culture as well.

Yes, It means "several" sometimes. But in this video, it means "two" because of "十月怀胎（pregnant for 10 month）"，10-8=2month
We use both Solar calendar and Lunar calendar, traditional festivals are alway using Lunar calendar.
两means 2 same as 二. For example 两个人 means 2 people，第二天 means the second day (day 2)
