I'm going with the "learn to love it" approach with a druid. I love the flexibility that they have with access to all group roles, including both ranged and melee options for dps. The desire to play a different role is the number one reason I roll alts, and I'm hoping to stick with just one toon for BfA. I don't totally love each spec individually, but the variety keeps things fresh at least. It also helps that I think the BfA changes made more talent combos viable within each spec, so there are more options there.
Wow, a really mature guide line of how to choose. I was looking at guys saying "arms war is AMAZZZING" or "Arcane Mage is boooring" Not being very objetctive, thanks Hazel. This truly helped me a lot.

I like that you have a different approach to picking a class in WoW than the other content creators. Not focusing too much on what is "meta" right now, but in stead trying to make you think of your own personal preferences. All classes do work in WoW!
This is how I picked my main for the last 10 years. Who's my most played characters with most achievements? Oh still the same choice. Ok guess that's my main one more time. I really wish Blizzard would add option to switch classes (FF14 way) so we dont have to lose things like 93 exalted reputations if/when we decide to reroll.
Yes please! I've been stuck with the same character for 10 years for the same reasons. Blizz needs to add class changes, I don't want to throw away all the memories, reputations and achievements I have on that character. I hate what they did to pally in the past 2 expansions, but I can't build up the courage to start a new main.
Well, if all you care about are achievements, then why does it matter what class you play? Blizzard cares about building a character identity, so if you want your character to be a different person, then they should be a different person, and not also be exalted with every faction, with same achievements, etc.
Hunting achievements and reputations is a fun activity for a lot of players but its also fun to do it on a class you enjoy to play. You dont raid or pvp or w/e you enjoy doing on a class you dont like to play. In the past all of us picked our favorite class but as time went on Blizzard devs kept changing classes and some are no longer fun to play. Also we don't want to lose years of our lives redoing the progress we already did in the past, and some of it is no longer obtainable either (ex. ZG/DM rep etc). Hope that answers your first question. Regarding Blizzard, they dont care about anything but the money. Same goes for any other company so they are no exception. All we ask from Blizzard is to make more money and give us an option to pay for class change. Another solution is to introduce a quest to switch classes like in FF14. Third option is to at least make reputations account wide.

Was trying to pick a class to use my level up token, that I received from purchasing the game, on to make some gold for heirloom upgrades for my lvl 60 main (new WoW player). I have looked up countless videos and did several class trials, but it wasn't until you said "just pick something at random and learn to love it" that I decided the ret paladin class I did a trial for is my new main. Thanks for that, I really needed it!
One more criterion I think is important if you are thinking DPS is the answer is do you like a Builder Spender (like Warrior, Shaman) or Generate Build Spend (like Monk, Rogue). Very different play styles.

that advice is actually super helpful. always kinda thought about playing a warlock and was like "hey, ill just try it out" and after the lvl 100 class trial im super hyped! Even about the spec...when I first saw a warlock in game I was so blown away from the fire rain that I only ever wanted to try destro...but the affliction spec in the class trial looked super fun!
So glad my main is one of the "can sneak around PvP pretty well but still gets the War Mode bonus" classes. Very helpful video, I hadn't considered some of these criteria :D
When I first started wow I really didnt know what to play, I picked frost mage because I was thinking that is a girl class and its fine, then I learned more about the game itself and went with demon hunter, was really fun and opposite to mage, now I am in love with holy priest and being a healer, I have the most fun since prepatch on it

I’ve been through all the highs and lows through every expansion, started playing just before the 4th anniversary, so my main remains my Warlock. We got some good lovin’ this time around and still have the new casting animations to look forward to. Keep up the good work !!!
So many people find BM to be brain-dead & boring. I love it & part of that is down it it being the most consistently mobile class in the game. Sure Monks & Demon Hunters have it beat in pure mobility. But they can't attack from range. They can bounce around everywhere all they want; but they need to be on the target to attack. We don't have that restriction.
Well monks COULD electric jade lightning but who uses that seriously xD Demon Hunters use Eye Beam in their rotation and that's ranged. So is Throw Glaive.
When I was new to WoW (fairly recently too) I wasn't sure about the whole dps vs healing vs tanking thing, and picking a class that could do all 3 was a good way to figure out what I wanted to do.
1) I just found your channel while looking up the Postmaster thing. 2) OMG I love your videos. 3) I am totally living for the pink and purple hair. 4) I am somewhat addicted to your videos now. 5) My original toon is a Priest (level as shadow heal for raids). Levelled a Mage and a Drood. I love the damage on a Mage and heals on a Drood is sooooo fluid and nice. I was considering making my Drood my main but then you mentioned reputations and I /facepalmed IRL because all my reps are on my Priest DOH 6) Thank you for the time you put into your videos dear.....I am loving them. I was trying to think of what character to play and i finally chose a Worgen Rogue (even though i know i should have been a night elf) and it has quickly become my favorite class ive ever played. I cant wait to play him in BFA PvP :D
Skylar Harris Worgen rogues look really scary. There's something about the fantasy of an invisible warewolf creeping up on and poisoning me that frightens me. Plus you have that extra racial speed. Good choice.
I just saw someone doing the Worgen 'running wild' (i think?) in Moonkin form in Alterac Valley the other day. It was hilarious and I loved it, made me want to finish leveling my Worgen Druid before they patch it lol.
Just pick something and learn to love it, is the best advice I ever heard for ppl that can't pick a main. I bounced around alot and decided to main pally because it can heal, and it´s sort of of a melee healer in a sense, and I just love being in the middle of the mess.
The other thing I would add is not to rule out a class you might have tried before but it didn’t click. I could never really get into warlocks until just recently and now my lock is giving my hunter a run for my favorite toon. Even if you didn’t like a class before, it might be worth giving it another chance. 😀
Not going for “flavor of the month” should be a golden rule to everybody,if you change character every patch,its not only a waste of effort,but also of time,since you never get enough time to get good at the class or even see if you liked it. Druid is the supreme choice for anyone not wanting to set strong roots in a single spec,and rust away wasting all of their chosen class’s potential,the strenght of druid,other than having strong specs on their own,is the versatility of being the only class in the game(that has 4 specs)and is able to fulfill every role in the game,in my opinion,if you’re playing only 1 spec of a class,you’re wasting the class’s potential,and that is especially true for druids,if for example,you play only dps on a hybrid class,and never touch tank/healer,just switch to a pure dps spec thats made for it.
Druids can't do ranged physical dps. That's one role they can't fill. See, druid is worthless don't pick them. By the way, you can't "rust away wasting [your] class' potential" if your class only has 1 role. Only multi role classes can do that; so druid would be the class that "rusts away" (whatever that means) their class' potential.
Claudio zappulla moonkins are shit and their lore is shit, bear druid is boring as hell now, cat melee sucks compared to other like rogue, healer druid i have not tried maybe its the good side?
cat melee has it's uniqueness,the only "sucking" part,is that now it's undertuned damage wise,it's like a lesser assassination rogue,but has bear form/heals/whatever else talents added onto it that rogues dont have,plus rogues are a pure dps class,while druids are not,and i'm pretty sure boomkin is looking pretty good damage wise,the gameplay like most ranged specs feels slow because of low haste.
People raved all throughout legion about how fun and fast and satisfying Fury Warrior was and I just... hated it. Eventually I started playing less and less Fury and more Havoc. Then I made a Paladin and a Frost DK and those are my mains for each faction. So yeah. Don't listen to anyone else, because what I just said may have made you vomit.
Well that is the way to do it. And not only that if you love a class and spend enough time on it, well in a serious matter you will be better than the people that play the "falvour of the month top dps class."
Max K mained a frost dk until bos build patched. Basically its a warrior with absolutely no mobility... well theres wraithwalk but not as useful as charge and heroic leap
I have this very crisis! So the video came at the right moment. Though I haven't settled on a new main yet. I have been a DK for many years and it is difficult to let go.
Two things to note: You don't need to switch to cat form to stealth. Once you press Prowl it automatically shifts you into cat form. Hunters can also stealth now with a very low cooldown. :D
The way I pick new characters now is by looking at whatever kind of class/deck I was playing in Hearthstone. Example - has Golden Mage, played freeze mage for a while, now I main Frost Mage in WoW and love it
Nightborne warlock is going to be my new main after an orc hunter! Still a pet, still a caster but so much different! I had to get used to the slower run and having to cast stuff but having so much fun with the demonology spec!! And also an undead warrior, legion didn't make me enjoy it but now I'm loving fury!!! So fun to run into stuff and tear everything down!!! Thank you, wonderful video
I’m that dude that can never pick a class lmao. I decided to randomly play druid cause i just didnt want to be stuck anymore. I ended up loving up and found out I’m actually pretty good at resto. Love the utility, running high m+ keys now. As you said, sometimes it’s just good to pick something and learn to love it!!!

I have been gone for a long time, and this is the first expansion I ever really got into it. I was a lock through Vanilla, TBC, and WotLK and a resto druid in Cata. I really like having a healing spec, but I'm not sure I could commit to Priest. And I am not much a fan of anything besides resto and guardian on my druid. Add in playing DH when I came back at the tail end of legion, and well... It was a tough choice.
I think the best way is to spend time with a class, the feel gets much better once you settle into the rhythm of the class and how it works in each situation.
I've mained my Priest since BC, and that's not going to change (plus she has all my reps haha!) But I'm happy that BfA looks to be more alt-friendly than Legion was, because I do enjoy having other classes and roles to play around with. So far I have my Shaman, DH, and Mage ready while getting my Paladin (who was neglected in Legion because Prot wasn't great) ready to go.
I think that in BFA, and the pre-patch respectively, we're going to have a lot of fun trying out a bunch of specs/classes, unlike in Legion, where you had to have legendaries/artifact weapons, which took a while to get, making trying alts a whole lot of pain.
When I started playing in MoP, I ended up moaning a Warlock, then when they felt like they got the fun needed out of them I became a HUGE altaholic but a few classes stood out to me, Warrior, Paladin, Death Knight, Hunter and Rogue, I seemed to bounce between one to the other week after week coming full circle and starting the Alt ping pong match all over again. That was when daily quests, mog runs, and pugs were my thing...after finding a guild to raid with and PvP with, I'm happy to say I settled down with one of those classes that I tended to gravitate to and I am now a happy rogue main, I may not tank or heal but I'll help you keep threat with tricks and cheese mechanics with cloak of shadows and shadow step, and even open your lock boxes! I'm just happy the Alt swapping musical chair routine is over with for me @-@
I actually started a new Mage to run as my main in BFA. Not because of their performance but because all the new spell effects look so freaking cool. I played DK and Monk primarily in Legion, so melee has gotten a little stale for me. I also do a lot of old content for transmog, mounts and pets with my girlfriend so being able to portal everywhere will be super useful for us.
Fire Mage is quite good, excessive aoe and good single-target damage. Overall one of the best for PVE Havoc DH is awesome for PVE as well, AOE stuns, huge AOE dmg, Magic debuff removal, can Imprison nasty ads which might be helpful in high lvl mythic dungeons. (And as DH you can always switch to tank) One of these two will be my main for Bfa , i already tested them in beta.
I’m having so much with my Resto Druid!! It was kind of surprise to find her lvl squished- i even just spend a bunch of gold on an alt for the fastest fly speed! Woops-! Still happy with the changes. Very happy-! I have so many higher lvl alts I almost spent time and gold on in 2019 but my MacBook Pro kept crashing- yay it’s not doing that this time-!!!
1. Decide what is going to be the primary function of your character. 2. Ascertain which classes and specs are able to sufficiently perform that role. 3. Test each of those classes and specs, then select the one you enjoy playing the most.
i was a shadowpriest at the start of legion, then kinda looked for a change with ww monk, now i'm back to shadow priest since i love the new talents and finally, the comeback of proper aoe and even burst is a thing now, just such a fun class and it looks amazing with the right mog in shadowform :)
I'm playing my usual B Elf Paladin I've been maining since I started WoW, with maybe a Warrior or DH as my 'main alt' but this time I plan to level an Alliance class I've never played before (Looking like a Mage, but I'm kind of stuck until the levelling isn't quite as broken) to see BFA from both sides, so I'm pretty excited for this expansion.

I used to despise deathknights (with all their death and undead theme) but in WoD I rolled one and I became my main for the whole expansion, so sometimes, the thing you hate the most may actually become something you love
Great video, Hazel! I just love your personality. So, I'm gonna stick to the same spec as always (well, since the end of mop anyways) which is demonology. It's nice to watch a class changing through the years (but frustrating at the same time). I've heard demonology has been nerfed while in beta, so I believe it will happen again. I've always had a Blood Elf Warrior main, and a Goblin Rogue alt. I thought this expansion I would switch things up and make my rogue my main for BFA. Even played a rogue in beta. It's a fun character, (I love Goblin related quests and lore). But then went back to my Warrior after beta and DANG! I just really love playing it. Really undecided....
My old main had a lot of Exalted stuff from BC, WotLK, and Cata... I really wish they'd make exalted reps an Account-bound thing (within the same faction, of course). My new main has more MoP, Legion, and BfA rep maxed. Oh well. I can always just go back and redo the rep stuff... though the BC ones were a MAJOR pain.
My Legion main was my fire mage (which at the start of Legion was arcane until I decided to switch specs and fell in love with fire) but for BfA I think I'm gonna go with my DH tank, mostly for survivability but because I have fun with it.
For me, I feel like I must play the 3 classes I earned all the mage tower appearances on semi-regularly because I worked so hard for them, it would be a shame not to ever use them again and if I played something else, I'd always know I'm missing that ONE appearance (my poor OCD). So my plan is to dual main, one for each faction and swap the main every other expansion, so regularly go between 4 classes. The "extra" class I'm adding into the mix is Demon Hunter. I hope I don't regret doing that over druid >.
I main a blood elf death knight. Unholy. I love the constant raising of the dead, the lore. I was there when dks were first introduced and what attracted me to them and to unholy primarily was the army of the dead spell. Death gate is great port spell. Though i wish blizz would expand it more to act like the mage ports. All in all I love my death knight and I don't see myself changing that anytime soon no matter how I enjoy the other classes.
I was planning on playing nightfallen demonology warlock and boosted it. But ended up playing affliction until prepatch landed. Affliction is so fun too, but when i saw plate wearing zandalari troll in some random video i decided to switch my main to fury when bfa launches and those new fit trolls come out!
In character creation I just look at one that sounds cool and I go with that. I don't really worry about what my guild needs or look up charts to see what performs best. Worrying about that is too much work.
For me, it was a quick easy pick. Its a druid and for a few reasons 1. I pick herbs quickly and easier from my flight form, my otjer profession is Alchemly so it would be the better choice 2. I can do everthing i can tank (which i enjoy) i can heal, as well as be both range and melee DPS 3. The forms look awesome (mainly the feral cat) and 4 which isnt a bigger deal is, i can have my 2 person mount without needing my drake and i can swim under under But i still will have hunter as my back up cuz i love the pets and the flow of it
I mained Frost DK all through Legion, even though so many people were like "LOL IT'S SO SIMPLE YA NOOB." But it was actually tons of fun! And that burst was great in PVP.
I don’t have a backup I just completely changed my game style, I will level both wars, my lock and my cow butcher(who will soon be an upright under the bridge creature that is also a butcher)
super late, but man considering what i miss from my main (a mage) whenever i play a different class, i miss portals, food, and most importantly.. blink. i dont think ill ever change

that advice is actually super helpful. always kinda thought about playing a warlock and was like "hey, ill just try it out" and after the lvl 100 class trial im super hyped! Even about the spec...when I first saw a warlock in game I was so blown away from the fire rain that I only ever wanted to try destro...but the affliction spec in the class trial looked super fun!
So glad my main is one of the "can sneak around PvP pretty well but still gets the War Mode bonus" classes. Very helpful video, I hadn't considered some of these criteria :D
When I first started wow I really didnt know what to play, I picked frost mage because I was thinking that is a girl class and its fine, then I learned more about the game itself and went with demon hunter, was really fun and opposite to mage, now I am in love with holy priest and being a healer, I have the most fun since prepatch on it

I’ve been through all the highs and lows through every expansion, started playing just before the 4th anniversary, so my main remains my Warlock. We got some good lovin’ this time around and still have the new casting animations to look forward to. Keep up the good work !!!
So many people find BM to be brain-dead & boring.
I love it & part of that is down it it being the most consistently mobile class in the game.
Sure Monks & Demon Hunters have it beat in pure mobility. But they can't attack from range.
They can bounce around everywhere all they want; but they need to be on the target to attack. We don't have that restriction.

Have you tried balance druid for ranged dps mobility,and yes the fact BM is braindead is a well known fact,not a collective opinion
Claudio zappulla BM has more nuance to play correctly than a lot of specs. Furthermore, it's not like any spec is hard.

Demon Hunters use Eye Beam in their rotation and that's ranged. So is Throw Glaive.

When I was new to WoW (fairly recently too) I wasn't sure about the whole dps vs healing vs tanking thing, and picking a class that could do all 3 was a good way to figure out what I wanted to do.

I was trying to think of what character to play and i finally chose a Worgen Rogue (even though i know i should have been a night elf) and it has quickly become my favorite class ive ever played. I cant wait to play him in BFA PvP :D
Skylar Harris Worgen rogues look really scary. There's something about the fantasy of an invisible warewolf creeping up on and poisoning me that frightens me. Plus you have that extra racial speed. Good choice.
I just saw someone doing the Worgen 'running wild' (i think?) in Moonkin form in Alterac Valley the other day. It was hilarious and I loved it, made me want to finish leveling my Worgen Druid before they patch it lol.

Just pick something and learn to love it, is the best advice I ever heard for ppl that can't pick a main. I bounced around alot and decided to main pally because it can heal, and it´s sort of of a melee healer in a sense, and I just love being in the middle of the mess.

The other thing I would add is not to rule out a class you might have tried before but it didn’t click. I could never really get into warlocks until just recently and now my lock is giving my hunter a run for my favorite toon. Even if you didn’t like a class before, it might be worth giving it another chance. 😀
that might work for switching to warlock but other classes probably not.

Not going for “flavor of the month” should be a golden rule to everybody,if you change character every patch,its not only a waste of effort,but also of time,since you never get enough time to get good at the class or even see if you liked it.
Druid is the supreme choice for anyone not wanting to set strong roots in a single spec,and rust away wasting all of their chosen class’s potential,the strenght of druid,other than having strong specs on their own,is the versatility of being the only class in the game(that has 4 specs)and is able to fulfill every role in the game,in my opinion,if you’re playing only 1 spec of a class,you’re wasting the class’s potential,and that is especially true for druids,if for example,you play only dps on a hybrid class,and never touch tank/healer,just switch to a pure dps spec thats made for it.
Druids can't do ranged physical dps. That's one role they can't fill. See, druid is worthless don't pick them. By the way, you can't "rust away wasting [your] class' potential" if your class only has 1 role. Only multi role classes can do that; so druid would be the class that "rusts away" (whatever that means) their class' potential.

Claudio zappulla moonkins are shit and their lore is shit, bear druid is boring as hell now, cat melee sucks compared to other like rogue, healer druid i have not tried maybe its the good side?
cat melee has it's uniqueness,the only "sucking" part,is that now it's undertuned damage wise,it's like a lesser assassination rogue,but has bear form/heals/whatever else talents added onto it that rogues dont have,plus rogues are a pure dps class,while druids are not,and i'm pretty sure boomkin is looking pretty good damage wise,the gameplay like most ranged specs feels slow because of low haste.
People raved all throughout legion about how fun and fast and satisfying Fury Warrior was and I just... hated it. Eventually I started playing less and less Fury and more Havoc. Then I made a Paladin and a Frost DK and those are my mains for each faction.
So yeah. Don't listen to anyone else, because what I just said may have made you vomit.
Well that is the way to do it. And not only that if you love a class and spend enough time on it, well in a serious matter you will be better than the people that play the "falvour of the month top dps class."

Yea, lotta people makin rogues for BFA but most of them really suck.
Max K mained a frost dk until bos build patched. Basically its a warrior with absolutely no mobility... well theres wraithwalk but not as useful as charge and heroic leap

I hear ya. My all around favorite class/spec to play. They're not always the best each xpac but they're rarely the worst (cough warriors cough).
Slight correction, you don't have to be specifically a feral druid to stealth, you just have to switch to cat form and then use your stealth spell
Also warriors have feather falling too! Heroic leaping onto the ground as you fall will prevent fall damage
Two things to note: You don't need to switch to cat form to stealth. Once you press Prowl it automatically shifts you into cat form.
Hunters can also stealth now with a very low cooldown. :D
The way I pick new characters now is by looking at whatever kind of class/deck I was playing in Hearthstone. Example - has Golden Mage, played freeze mage for a while, now I main Frost Mage in WoW and love it

Nightborne warlock is going to be my new main after an orc hunter! Still a pet, still a caster but so much different! I had to get used to the slower run and having to cast stuff but having so much fun with the demonology spec!! And also an undead warrior, legion didn't make me enjoy it but now I'm loving fury!!! So fun to run into stuff and tear everything down!!! Thank you, wonderful video
I’m that dude that can never pick a class lmao. I decided to randomly play druid cause i just didnt want to be stuck anymore. I ended up loving up and found out I’m actually pretty good at resto. Love the utility, running high m+ keys now. As you said, sometimes it’s just good to pick something and learn to love it!!!

I have been gone for a long time, and this is the first expansion I ever really got into it. I was a lock through Vanilla, TBC, and WotLK and a resto druid in Cata. I really like having a healing spec, but I'm not sure I could commit to Priest. And I am not much a fan of anything besides resto and guardian on my druid.
Add in playing DH when I came back at the tail end of legion, and well... It was a tough choice.
Finger DDR is my new favorite analogy for those kinds of classes.
Made a Void Elf Fire Mage and haven't played anything else since, the gameplay feels fun and engaging and i love Mage theme.
I've considered all the options and have finally settled on a spellcasting-hunter-tank. That was easy!

I think the best way is to spend time with a class, the feel gets much better once you settle into the rhythm of the class and how it works in each situation.
I've mained my Priest since BC, and that's not going to change (plus she has all my reps haha!) But I'm happy that BfA looks to be more alt-friendly than Legion was, because I do enjoy having other classes and roles to play around with. So far I have my Shaman, DH, and Mage ready while getting my Paladin (who was neglected in Legion because Prot wasn't great) ready to go.
I think that in BFA, and the pre-patch respectively, we're going to have a lot of fun trying out a bunch of specs/classes, unlike in Legion, where you had to have legendaries/artifact weapons, which took a while to get, making trying alts a whole lot of pain.
When I started playing in MoP, I ended up moaning a Warlock, then when they felt like they got the fun needed out of them I became a HUGE altaholic but a few classes stood out to me, Warrior, Paladin, Death Knight, Hunter and Rogue, I seemed to bounce between one to the other week after week coming full circle and starting the Alt ping pong match all over again. That was when daily quests, mog runs, and pugs were my thing...after finding a guild to raid with and PvP with, I'm happy to say I settled down with one of those classes that I tended to gravitate to and I am now a happy rogue main, I may not tank or heal but I'll help you keep threat with tricks and cheese mechanics with cloak of shadows and shadow step, and even open your lock boxes! I'm just happy the Alt swapping musical chair routine is over with for me @-@
I actually started a new Mage to run as my main in BFA. Not because of their performance but because all the new spell effects look so freaking cool. I played DK and Monk primarily in Legion, so melee has gotten a little stale for me. I also do a lot of old content for transmog, mounts and pets with my girlfriend so being able to portal everywhere will be super useful for us.
Fire Mage is quite good, excessive aoe and good single-target damage. Overall one of the best for PVE
Havoc DH is awesome for PVE as well, AOE stuns, huge AOE dmg, Magic debuff removal, can Imprison nasty ads which might be helpful in high lvl mythic dungeons. (And as DH you can always switch to tank)
One of these two will be my main for Bfa , i already tested them in beta.
I’m having so much with my Resto Druid!! It was kind of surprise to find her lvl squished- i even just spend a bunch of gold on an alt for the fastest fly speed! Woops-! Still happy with the changes. Very happy-! I have so many higher lvl alts I almost spent time and gold on in 2019 but my MacBook Pro kept crashing- yay it’s not doing that this time-!!!
1. Decide what is going to be the primary function of your character.
2. Ascertain which classes and specs are able to sufficiently perform that role.
3. Test each of those classes and specs, then select the one you enjoy playing the most.

Leeroyr15 BM is in a grest spot so is lock. Either would be a great choice.

i was a shadowpriest at the start of legion, then kinda looked for a change with ww monk, now i'm back to shadow priest since i love the new talents and finally, the comeback of proper aoe and even burst is a thing now, just such a fun class and it looks amazing with the right mog in shadowform :)
I'm playing my usual B Elf Paladin I've been maining since I started WoW, with maybe a Warrior or DH as my 'main alt' but this time I plan to level an Alliance class I've never played before (Looking like a Mage, but I'm kind of stuck until the levelling isn't quite as broken) to see BFA from both sides, so I'm pretty excited for this expansion.

I used to despise deathknights (with all their death and undead theme) but in WoD I rolled one and I became my main for the whole expansion, so sometimes, the thing you hate the most may actually become something you love
Great video, Hazel! I just love your personality. So, I'm gonna stick to the same spec as always (well, since the end of mop anyways) which is demonology. It's nice to watch a class changing through the years (but frustrating at the same time). I've heard demonology has been nerfed while in beta, so I believe it will happen again. I've always had a Blood Elf Warrior main, and a Goblin Rogue alt. I thought this expansion I would switch things up and make my rogue my main for BFA. Even played a rogue in beta. It's a fun character, (I love Goblin related quests and lore). But then went back to my Warrior after beta and DANG! I just really love playing it. Really undecided....
My old main had a lot of Exalted stuff from BC, WotLK, and Cata... I really wish they'd make exalted reps an Account-bound thing (within the same faction, of course). My new main has more MoP, Legion, and BfA rep maxed. Oh well. I can always just go back and redo the rep stuff... though the BC ones were a MAJOR pain.

My Legion main was my fire mage (which at the start of Legion was arcane until I decided to switch specs and fell in love with fire) but for BfA I think I'm gonna go with my DH tank, mostly for survivability but because I have fun with it.
Love the last piece of advice lol. That's what Im doing. Couldn't decide between fury, havok, or survival. Rolled a 6 sided die and got fury lol.
For me, I feel like I must play the 3 classes I earned all the mage tower appearances on semi-regularly because I worked so hard for them, it would be a shame not to ever use them again and if I played something else, I'd always know I'm missing that ONE appearance (my poor OCD). So my plan is to dual main, one for each faction and swap the main every other expansion, so regularly go between 4 classes. The "extra" class I'm adding into the mix is Demon Hunter. I hope I don't regret doing that over druid >.
I main a blood elf death knight. Unholy. I love the constant raising of the dead, the lore. I was there when dks were first introduced and what attracted me to them and to unholy primarily was the army of the dead spell. Death gate is great port spell. Though i wish blizz would expand it more to act like the mage ports. All in all I love my death knight and I don't see myself changing that anytime soon no matter how I enjoy the other classes.

I was planning on playing nightfallen demonology warlock and boosted it. But ended up playing affliction until prepatch landed. Affliction is so fun too, but when i saw plate wearing zandalari troll in some random video i decided to switch my main to fury when bfa launches and those new fit trolls come out!

In character creation I just look at one that sounds cool and I go with that. I don't really worry about what my guild needs or look up charts to see what performs best. Worrying about that is too much work.
For me, it was a quick easy pick. Its a druid and for a few reasons 1. I pick herbs quickly and easier from my flight form, my otjer profession is Alchemly so it would be the better choice 2. I can do everthing i can tank (which i enjoy) i can heal, as well as be both range and melee DPS 3. The forms look awesome (mainly the feral cat) and 4 which isnt a bigger deal is, i can have my 2 person mount without needing my drake and i can swim under under
But i still will have hunter as my back up cuz i love the pets and the flow of it

I mained Frost DK all through Legion, even though so many people were like "LOL IT'S SO SIMPLE YA NOOB." But it was actually tons of fun! And that burst was great in PVP.
I don’t have a backup I just completely changed my game style, I will level both wars, my lock and my cow butcher(who will soon be an upright under the bridge creature that is also a butcher)
