    Abt to start my 2nd set. 1st set of locs were started using the crochet method. I also maintained my locs using the crochet method, which made my locs were very dense. Want them fluffier this time! Love this method…Thanks!🙏🏾🫶🏾

      Hi! I went through this problem before and the only way I got through it was having to braid the base and then twist it down, now you don’t have to braid it you can interlock it back but if you get more tired of making sure it stops slipping and don’t mind the pattern base change then I say braid it to make it easier. Hope this helps and Good Luck!❤

    When I grow out my hair in the summer and get two strand twist starter locks how long do I have to wait to get a re-twist and how long do I have to wait before I wash my hair or do I even let water touch it after I first get my hair done?

    • @stylebylamsie
      @stylebylamsie  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      1 month or 1 month and 2 week…
      You should not allow water touch it until it has locked with takes about 6 months… else your hair will shrink to its normal lenght
      Only allow you loctician wash your hair with water and then maintain it and possibly style it and put you in the dryer to dry, that way it will keep its blow dried length with is longer than it natural lenght
      Of course I’m assuming your hair is 4c or behaves like 4c cause if your hair is straight it’s a different situation
      Whichever way you have to go with the advice of your loctician
