Thank you Jesse. I'll be sure to request some more from them. Was a very insightful reaction (as usual). Ashton (the drummer) is definitely the hype man of the band and yep he gives everything on stage. They all sing - Luke does most of the lead vocals but they also share lead and bring the harmonies. They've been a band for 11 years (from Australia) and got their first big break touring as the opener for One Direction. They were more pop punk back then and now more pop rock but I would say they love experimenting with genres and sounds. You have probably heard their single "Youngblood" as it's part of the 1 billion stream club and possibly a few others on the radio or in shops. Thanks again 😊
Favorite concert I’ve ever been to! So good, full sounds. Can’t sit down. Vocals, harmonies, their passion. Luke(lead singer/guitars) beautiful voice 2 solo albums. Michael(Mikey, guitarist and vocals) was always my favorite. He’s also so deep as a lyricist! Callum (bassist and vocalist) his solo vocals amaze and are unexpected! But Ashton Irwin (drummer and vocals) has my heart. Energy!!! Nominated drummer of the year 3 yrs in a row. 2 solo albums!!!! Skinny Skinny incredible MV to react to! They all write solo and together. They’ve just got something unique. ❤❤❤❤. More 5Sauce!!!
yay! this was a one night only performance for their latest album release, so they added a choir and orchestral instruments to their set to make it super special for the fans, I was lucky enough to be there myself! 5sos are great live and their playing of instruments is something they pride themselves in, I'd love to see more reactions!
this was a great reaction! I love that you loved this one! I just came across your channel and I honestly loved this reaction, the way you talked about everything it was really refreshing to see you comment on their talent as a band and ashton, the drummer of course. I'd really love to see you react to more 5SOS because I think you'll absolutely love them
Live mixing and studio mixing background? Nice, you should definitely check out more live performances then. More from Royal Albert Hall, the choir and the live orchestra made that whole concert really special. Like other people said, they all sing but Luke is the main singer. Most times you will also have Calum (bassist) and Michael (lead guitarist) as background vocals. Ashton rarely sing but he's a beast of drummer, one of the best of his generation, in my opinion. Take My Hand is one of their best anthemic songs, very 80s. Experienced it live last year on tour, without a choir or orchestra and it was just incredible! Please check out more 5SOS, been a fan for almost 11 years and love seeing new people react to my favorite band.
My friend - thank you for this (and I saw your other comment too!) really excited for this journey! Anytime you got a drummer that hits like this and multiple singers you got me 😂 And yes! I was a live sound tech for 10 years, covering festivals, stadiums, arenas, bars and performance venues etc. most of what I talk about is what I would do to achieve something - being as there’s a million ways to do anything really - but it lends for fun conversation I find! Lately I’ve been mixing an EP for a musician from Germany, and hoping that will lend a more modern ear for a lot of these performances 😁
That is quite the career. You must have seen hundreds of artists during those 10 years. About their label, they were at Universal for most of their career (Capitol for first 3 albums, then Interscope for album 4). For their latest album, they wanted to be more involved in making the album, which is why they switched to BMG. If you look at the credits for 5SOS5, you'll noticed that compared to previous albums, the band and individual members are credited as executive producers for the album and (vocal) producers and programmers for the songs. There are a couple of "Making of" videos on the official 5SOS channel, if you are interested in some behind the scenes stuff. Speaking of songs, you said you'd look at the lyrics, did you? If so, what did you think?
They dont invite the singers to sing in Royal Albert Hall if they cant sing good on stage live. 5SOS was invited like Adele was invited so they are in that sort of category in terms of live on stage singing.

The full concert is on Amazon prime and there’s a full live album out from the show too. It’s honestly one of their best!

You should check out Luke’s solo album When facing the things we turn away from its amazing
I love your reaction! I think you should check out more of their songs
Ashton (The drummer) and Luke (Lead Singer) both released solo projects during Covid
That was such a interesting reaction, hope you'll do more of 5SOS :)
Great reaction! I would suggest you to react to teeth (live from the vault) - 5 Seconds of Summer
Would love to see more 5 Seconds of Summer content!
