Pittsburgh Westinghouse Football - The Program

Westinghouse historically has a rich tradition in producing some of the top athletes and leaders in the Pittsburgh region. Over the years, the communities that make up Westinghouse took a huge hit with drugs, violence and incarceration. In 2019, a former Westinghouse student Athlete took over The Program and changed the culture. Develop a 11 month program that focus on academic support, social skill development, career exploration and physical health - dedicated to build a culture of excellence. In three years, the team GPA average is 3.0, combined record of 25-5 and produced over 15 college athletes. This is a sneak peak of what drives their success.

Are they following the teachings of the great coaching of the legendary coach Pete Dimperio in the 60s? They also taught many of Pittsburgh's GREAT jazz musicians in their craft. Westinghouse has a long tradition to be proud of!
