I didn't know that my settings were changed until I found your video and went to find it. Double check your settings and make sure it is all turned on for you to be the user. You can add your profile but you still have to make one more step to turn the settings on for your profile in order to make this change. I believe this must have changed when I verfied my account due to other businesses using similar business name as well as our business content. Thank you so much for this video!

Thank you for sharing this video. I submitted a request to change my business name on Facebook 9 days ago and it's still the same 🤷🏽♀️ Hopefully they will approve my request soon.
The change for your name has to be very similar to the existing name so you need to change it overtime if it’s a great big change

Hey Hi .... I am having big issue with my account. I am not running any business and I don't have Tax ID also. When I try to fill my tax form on tax clasification area I am getting only business type option I am not able click on individual type.... Do you have any idea about it please Tell.

Your password on your business page is the same as your password on your personal profile. In fact, you do not have a password for a business page, you only have access to your personal profile. And then you go to your business page once you’re logged in.
Does changing a page name free that name up for a newer page?
Mine kept showing the same error 'You are unable to make additional requests at this time.' I'm getting so frustrated that I couldn't change anything at all. Please help

Facebook is undergoing an enormous amount of change right now. Also, if you’re changing the name of your business page to drastically from what the original name was, they will not allow it. So you have to slowly make the changes of the page name. I hope this helps.
What happens if I keep getting an error message? I followed the guide with success but after I hit submit I get "There are limits to the page. You can't take this action while the limits are in place". Any advice?!
what if your page is without an admin and they are still available to view but they are not attached to a business profile. I have to pages lost in space please help!
My request to change business name was rejected. I didn’t get any explanation why. And Facebook now allows to change name once every 2 months so I can’t do anything for the next 60 days. It sucks!

When you change the name of your business page, you have to go about it very slowly if it’s a big change. Facebook does not allow massive changes, because of the people that are following you. They don’t know what you’re changing the business page name to, and they agreed to follow you based on the previous name. I hope that makes sense to you.
Thanks for this video. I am a realtor and need to change my business page name to reflect my new brokerage. It's been 5 days and FB has not honored my request to change my business page name. I am the owner/admin of the page and a formal request was sent through the method you showed. So I am not sure what to do at this point. Any help resolving this would be appreciated.

I totally understand your frustration, Facebook is undergoing massive changes right now. If you’re going to change your name of your business page, it has to be done very slowly. Usually word by word waiting 48 hours for it to be excepted. Best of luck don’t give up.
The business account access name is different from the business meta suite name how do I fix this it says I have admin access but won't let me change anything or add assets in business suite
I wish it was that easy to just give you the answer. However, Facebook is undergoing a Normas amount of changes right now, especially when it comes to the Meta Business Suite. Don’t give up.
So I tried to do this which was very obvious, but I get this weird error saying I have a limit on my account. Now, I checked what is considered limits, but I do not meet any of those issues so I'm unsure why this is happening. I've researched online and people stated to try different browsers, which I've tried, doesn't work. I am the admin of the account so that is not the issue. If it says I have a limit there's no need for me to wait 3 days since It technically wasn't approved. It just doesn't make any sense. Plus I checked the Facebook help page and there isn't anything helpful there to help me resolve this issue. I can't tell you how frustrating this is.
When Facebook tells me, I’m at my limit. This means I usually go in to my ads account for payment or billing and reset it.

Oh no! My menu doesn't not even look remotely close after I get to the settings page.
That is because it is now 2024 and Facebook CHANGED it!!!
Please can you help? I am unable to run ads and create an insta shop because my Facebook manger suite has been restricted 'Account Restricted'. Im not good with FB and noticed this is because 30 days have passed since I started but didn't complete a request for review of my advertising access. The error message then goes on to say... I won't be able to advertise using Meta products. This is our final decision.
Is there away around this.?
Or.. the Meta account I have created and connected to my Instagram, if I deactivate it/shut it down can I open a new one with the same name and start again, would this work?

Sorry you need to keep asking Facebook for help, I do not work with Facebook and have no recourse for helping you. Its not great but short of this you'd need to create a new page... thee are a lot of help options within Facebook

What happens if they don’t respond in the 3 days?
Im having trouble with changin FB page current address to a new one but it always shows an error and telling me to retry in a few minutes, but its been so long since the try, and its still the same 😢

Sorry, I know Facebook has a lot of problems. Just realize not a lot of people actually come to your Facebook page, they usually see your Contant in their newsfeeds. That’s why I paying for advertising is so important today.

For now, while all the changes are going on with Facebook in the Meta Business Suite, you’re going to have to reach out Facebook for help.

Yes, I’ve heard of this happening to many people. I just change the business page name today, however, we only added an extra word to the original name of the page. It worked automatically.
@@KeepItSimpleSocialMedia Unfortunately that I cannot do. I need to replace one word with another. I switched Real Estate Brokerages and can't have my old one in the name

But wait, you're changing the name of your business page. I want to change the name of my business name in Meta Business Suite.
There seems to be two ways to do it now, one the example in the video that you see. And the second is some people still have their settings tap on the left-hand side down near the bottom. Those would be the two ways to change the name of your business page or change the URL.

@@KeepItSimpleSocialMedia does it take some time for FB to allow the change of name? I changed my business account from my name to my business name but when I went back to the business account it still had my name, not the name of my business! Please advise
@@annemariecaister5624 I could, have you checked, 48 hours at most... You cannot change a name DRASTICALLY, it needs to be done slowly to be similar to the original name

Things must have changed in Facebook World already because no matter how slightly I try to change my business name, I get this message: Creating content with this name is not allowed. Try another name. 🤷
Same challenge. How have people gotten around this issue?
