- Dilip Kumar earned more money than his friend Raj Kapoor in his first job at Bombay Talkies studio. When Dilip Kumar joined Bombay Talkies studio on Devika Rani's offer, Raj Kapoor was already working there as an assistant to Director Amiya Chakravarty. Before getting a job at Bombay Talkies studio, Dilip Kumar had never even seen the insides of a movie studio even in a photograph. Raj kapoor's passion was directing films. After that he thought to become an actor. Dilip saheb was great actor and raj kapoor was great director. Raj kapoor saheb ne apni first Film 21 saal me direct ki thi which is very difficult and he directed at so young and also everything was perfect in the film from music to cinematography.
Both were geniuses.

Dr. Masani being a Psychologist saw something in him and also in his youth, Dilip Kumbar was a very good-looking guy and Devika Rani did not mistake about about Dilip Kumar for his future. Thanks to both Dr, Masani and Devika Rani he became the most famous Bollywood hero of all time. At that time Bengali ruled the Bombay film studio in Hindi films.

With these three questions, in 1942, Rani, the head of Bombay Talkies hired Dilip Kumar as an actor at Bombay Talkies, based solely on his looks and without any audition or any screen test, or any knowledge of his acting skills. Not even a question like, kya tumhe acting aati hai? And his starting salary was Rs. 1250 per month . At the same time, Raj Kapoor who had been working at his father’s Prithvi Theatre had been hired as an apprentice to assist Director Amiya Chakravarthy for Rs.170 per month.
And, in an instant, Dilip Kumar changed the course of history of Hindi Cinema.
In the annals of acting in the world, this has to be the easiest interview for an acting job. And, Yusuf Khan wasn’t even there for an acting job!
Now either Devika Rani had special skills to recognize talent based on a few questions or she was letting her libido do the thinking for her. Something doesn’t make sense here
