- We're in Scotland! We drove from Inverness to Isle of Skye for 48 hrs of taking in views and amazing hikes. In this video, we see highland cows, hike the Old Man of Storr, and visit Mealtfalls. This is episode 5 of our 2023 trip to Europe-- follow us to England, Scotland and the Netherlands!

In Scotland a overcast day with fine rain is called, Drich. Pronounced Dri chhhhh no ch more khhhhhhh you hatdly hear the k. Great word also we dont say cheers we asay Slanja. Love you love my country im as Scottish as a Square Sausage (lorne sausage you eat for breakfast, blood and bone, great saying.

The Scottish word for that weather is DRICH the ch is not pronounced as CH its more of of a a KGHHHHH sound. Thank you for showing my country so well.
Iv only been to Skye once i was a kid and we went into a shop a bunch of women were speaking English but when they realised we were not locals they swaped to Galic. When we were leaving my dad said thank you and its a DRICH day in Galic, it was his first langage, the shock on there faces was unforgetable, thankfuly Skye has got its act together.
