    goat cheese is good too (thomas delauer) said it is basically a a2 casien and it actually turns into ketones naturally in your body.

    Had never heard before learning from Dr. Boz that chia seeds are okay on keto. First tried them for constipation (very effective) relief as suggested by Dr. Boz. Then tried chia pudding - soaked in some water and flavored with dash of cinnamon. Quick. Delicious. Very filling.

    Really nice guide Dr. Boz. Why is ground beef at the bottom of the list in the red meat category? I have worked as a butcher my whole life and would put it at the top of the list. Ground Beef contains the trimmings and tough bits from the entire animal. It is loaded with collagen, connective tissue and can be as fatty as you like. It is also very affordable.

    • @DoctorBoz
      @DoctorBoz  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      If all the ground beef were the “type” found in my freezer, it would be at the top. So much ground beef isn’t quite the quality I get at the farm. If you can look at the origin of the beef .. it could be higher

    • @dharma_star
      @dharma_star 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yep,I eat ground beef from local grass fed beef.I rate it higher on my personal chart:)

    • @justadudebrowsin5807
      @justadudebrowsin5807 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I can't eat ground beef that I buy from kroger (I'm poor, I can't buy grass fed/quality cuts). I can eat steak fine but pork and ground beef I experience allergic reactions to. Others tell me its histamines, but I have no idea.

    • @sl4983
      @sl4983 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Couldn't it possibly have other unknowns tossed in from the butcher? Unless you pick a certain cut of meat and have it ground.

    The look on her face with the spam question, was my favorite. LOL A few months ago when I was my body was in keto, milk mad me feel horrible and heavy cream had me full on nauseous. Off of Keto, I took a while to drink whole milk again but I'm done with cream forever.

    I was watching this and the list looked interesting as I tried to get back onto keto. But soon as you mentioned spam, I’m out. This is one of the most processed foods that has nitrates in it, anybody telling you to eat spam to try to get healthy doesn’t know what the hell they’re talking about. But it did sound good for a little while.

  • @jessegentry9699

    Spinach is always well talked about but is one of the, if not the most highest thing in Oxalates. So should we disregard it?

    • @DoctorBoz
      @DoctorBoz  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Be mindful of the allergy.. and know that many allergies reverse with consistent keto chemistry. There are good alternatives to dairy.. but cheese would be a bugger for me to give up.

    I’m wanting to understand intermittent fasting as well bc they’re so contradictory in information everywhere..I feel like bad trying to intermittent fasting but I think it could be good and then I red it takes 24 to 36 hours to induce autophlage but that’s not intermittent fasting and I allso read intermittent fasting induces autophlage. So everyone contradicts each other

    Dr. BOZZ does staying in the Ketosys make one be able to find and stay quite a long time in the Zone? Hope you are familiar with the word "Zone". It is a description of a state in which you can enter and you feel joy, happiness, even permant healings take place. Others experience miracelous events depends how deep and far you go into it. You always in a gayeous mood that is why my question stems from.
    BLESSINGS GRATITUDES

    6 months on Keto and I've done blood test. Is it ok that LDL is lower than HDL? Cholesterol 187, LDL - 71, HDL - 108, triglycerides 36, Homocystein 11. Is it ok to have such weird LDL/HDL ratio = 0,6?
