This webinar summarizes key findings from a study recently published in the journal Nature Energy, entitled "Evaluating community solar as a measure to promote equitable clean energy access.” The paper, which was co-authored by researchers at Berkeley Lab and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, explores how community solar has expanded solar access to communities underserved by rooftop solar, especially among households living in multifamily buildings, renters, and low- and moderate-income households. The webinar will explore the implications of these results for energy access policies and the factors that help explain how community solar can expand solar access.
