Saw him Liverpool last night on a freebie, I'd only seen Kasabian once at a festival and was massively underwhelmed. Whether it was a smaller venue, more guitars to fatten the sound up or something I can't put my finger on, but it absolutely rocked
Serious goosebumps!!! Just watched the Talk Tonight interview, lovely the way Tom spoke about his 'brothers' and not shutting the door. But I feel like the band are doing exactly that and being a bit crap about it all. I'm just not feeling 'Kasabian' now...and yeah we're entitled to that opinion. 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
i mean even before you could tell he was struggling with the notes for " i'll tell you i want..." and you can tell his body has deteriorated a loot during the past few years, he looks much older after only a few years so i expect his vocal cords to be pretty damaged as well from all the substance abuse and stress

Tommy and the best musicians he can find has to be a good sound when live. Kasabian was always carried by "session musicians" anyway Serge is a good writer but not strong performer and guitarist, were as tommy absolutely is!! so him and the cream of the crop guitarists will crush it singing all the old tunes for sure kasabian will miss tommy more than he misses Sergio dropping notes
Has anyone seen James Hargreaves's recent interview with Tom here on YT? There are 3 sides to every story, his side, the band's side and the truth. It looks like they wanted Tom out long before the incident with Vicki and that was the excuse they were looking for. Tom was burnt out, and instead of standing by him, they turned their back on him. Liam G was similarly embroiled in a 'physical' with his missus but he wasn't demonised the way Tom was. Tom was the heart of Kasabian, without him they sound like a Kasabian tribute band.
Sorry, compared to how flat Kasabian are now, Tom’s killing it. Serge thinks he’s a frontman, but he’s far too dull. Kasabian will inevitably ask Tom back, but hopefully he’ll tell them where to go.
No chance, Serge's voice lacks the strength and distinction that Tom's has, even if Serge does have the better vocal range. That's what makes Serge a great backing and chorus singer, that he has a great range but his voice is softer. Was listening to their IOW set again earlier and Serge's voice is definitely shaky at points, especially during Underdog I thought. That being said he was the only choice to front Kasabian after what happened and he's settled in quite well.
Nobody can replace this young lad on vocals or as a frontman .... Tom # 1 🤘🤘🤘

Saw him in Belfast last year. Best gig I have been to for a very long time.

Serge co wrote and solo wrote some seriously great songs, but no matter what, Tom is the absolute main man and was the VOICE of Kasabian.

Singers are singers and bass guitarist play bass, serge take a step back, get your singer back in the band.
