I think Justin is right about the Black Series fandom skewing a younger. The prequel love is definitely something you see more with younger fans, even if there are outliers like me and Justin (I'm 29), and 3.75" also appeals more to older collectors due to the vintage Kenner stuff being in that scale. Most collectors I know who are under 30 generally stick to stuff around 6" (outside of special cases like Transformers, which have really variable sizes, and Gundams that are bigger than Master Grade), since that's just the standard these days, so anyone who started collecting relatively recently is more likely to have come across stuff they like in that scale. I didn't realise that fan polls were a big factor in the clone trooper love, that makes a lot of sense. Especially when the people online more are gonna be the younger collectors.

I definitely agree that Black Series collectors seem to be of a younger demographic, then again that may only be based on what I see online.

Regarding the haslab cantina, agree with Justin about the standard display . You can always angle it this way or even add a custom base with the band guys on the move around at your pleasure
Yeah the standard looks more appropriate for typical shelving displays. The deluxe would look nice in a glass cabinet though! -Justin
Another great stream! I always go to BB first for TVC content. I’m the most on the fence about this TVC HasLab compared to previous ones. I don’t have old versions of the other Cantina patrons, so I would want Hasbro to commit outright to filling out the Cantina even more with modern TVC. The pipeline was good, but I’m not sure if it’s enough for me. Also, regardless of the set layout at Elstree vs LA, The Modal Nodes are in the Cantina somewhere otherwise they wouldn’t be in the film. Given the modularity, they should have offered a bandstand option. Hasbro JUST released The Modal Nodes and to not have a proper place to put them is just weird. I expect that squeezing them into the one back right booth is going to be tight.
Well if they were squeezed into one room in the film, then that's that. I do think they'll do more cantina patrons for TVC in 2025. Thanks for checking out the stream! -Justin

I think the perfect display option for this is one of those glass display case coffee tables that you sometimes see with Lego collectors. Have the whole cantina set up with the figures for viewing pleasure

My biggest complaint about the black series is the fact that they go so hard with new shows. Every time we get a new show we get a wave full of figures. This is a little frustrating because I'd much rather the waves be a bit more balanced and have figures from a variety of different films or shows or even games. It's frustrating because it just delays getting potential new figures from shows, games and films that already exist.
Agreed I wished the figure waves would always at least have 1 OT, 1 PT and 1 Rebels /Clone Wars figure
Yeah like the whole wave of Acolyte figures. They gotta spread em' out better. I get "striking while the iron is hot" but we are adult collectors, we're not playing with these toys in the bathtub. -Justin

It's maddening how much the Black Series community cried about the price of the Rancor. Now fast forward 3 years or so after prices for EVERYTHING has gone through the roof. $350 W/free shipping for that amazing piece would've been a STEAL!!! I'm on the fence if the TBS community even deserves another Haslab. I've backed the other three so will probably get the cantina also.
Give them their flowers, the TVC community does show up. The Black Series community cries about price and hides in their basement (pun intended).

It might seem like a lot of money but these are items that we love and will cherish forever! People spend hundreds of dollars on shoes that turn to shit after a couple years😂

Watching the Acolyte portion where Bossk is saying how Acolyte can’t affect or retcon things. Wonder how everyone feels after, I believe the fourth episode has aired, and now the twins were fathered by the force so Anakin isn’t unique and the wookie Jedi was killed off screen.
Anakin was immaculate conception by the Force, the twins were not. They were made because of someone else (witches using dark arts/witchcraft using the Force). -Justin

The first tbs campaign failed, it wasn't well thought out by no means, and we'll never see another one for tbs. It's now to the point where they offer tvc walls, chairs, and cups for $500. I'm sorry, it's the downfall of all hasbro star wars. At least they went back to the ot. But this is the nail in the coffin for a tbs haslab.⚰️

Acolyte is a rather typical cop show. They have basic rhetoric like Jedi only drawing weapon when they are prepared to use it to kill. Sol is fantastic. I wasn’t surprised by Carrie Anne Moss’ death. The show is built on mystery of a Jedi killer. Mae has to kill Jedi for this show to work. I’m oblivious to the political talk. I actually don’t care. So you don’t have to enlighten me. This stuff is all entertainment. Representation is important. Dad bod Boba Fett while he infuriates many speaks to me a 50 year old dad bod. I love Book of Fett! No amount of Mods talk will make me like it less. Walter White and his meth making escapades is highly regarded. I’d rather watch Fett over that. It’s just stories and entertainment. Professional sports and wrestling both entertainment and a means to share in a passion with others passionate about it. I don’t expect things to be good. I just hope they are well told.

I have to say I am disappointed in Nate and Justin, a sizeable portion of the hate for Acolytes is simply because there are so many people of color in leading roles so to hear them downplay it as "political" honestly stings because it's actually plain old racism. These are the same folks who hated John Boyega, Kelly Marie Tran, and Moses Ingram. It's why I was so excited for the figures for the series, cause there might be 25 unique figures based on characters of color.
You need to join the Discord and see what I've been saying in there. You are jumping to conclusions. We had a guest so I didn't want to jump into the specifics of all that and go down a massive rabbit-hole. I have zero issues saying that OOTB is all inclusive, LGBTQ+ friendly, etc. We've had people leave our server over this. -Justin
