During the 89/90 spanish league season Hugo Sanchez scored 38 goals with Real Madrid, everyone of them just by one touch... I don't know any other scorer in History that did something remotely similar, if someone knows about it please tell me. In any case, that speaks volumes of Sanchez abilities to score with just the minimum. Quoting Cruyff "football is simple, but it is difficult to play simple" that's how good Hugo Sanchez was and how underrated he is... and by the way, that Real Madrid squad Sanchez was in, is one of the best teams ever, they were stopped only by Sacchi's Milan. To achieve that it was required creating a new way of playing football. I'd suggest searching for any kind of video that explains how amazing was that Real Madrid generation called "La Quinta del Buitre"
Hugo Sánchez was so good at bycicle kicks since he always practiced gymnastics with his sister she was in the Olympics representing México in gymnastics
A great example of what you said would be Cuauhtemoc Blanco, a player that played most his career in Mexico and when he did get a chance in Europe with Valladolid injury set him back, however he did have a magic moment scoring a free kick on a young Casillas
If you're looking to do more videos on Mexican players then definitely look into covering the best players of the 1990's which were Cuauhtémoc Blanco, Luis Hernández and Jorge Campos (perhaps México's greatest goalkeeper and top 3 in the world during his prime.)
Nice video would love for you to make a video on cuahtemoc Blanco. To me considered to be the magic Jhonson of Mexican soccer. Finessed his passes and goals. Top 5 in my list of Mexican footballers. Not to mention he was literally a bad mf. Punched out many
@@joecrypto0374 Hugo was just as good as the people that throw him the passes, Buitre, Gordillo, Hierro, without them he didn´t do much. He even fail penalties with the Mexican team in a world cup, thats unforgivable Cuahutemoc was able to put the team on his back and win, and never failed a penalty shot.
@@pablerryyou def saw TikTok or sum . Hugo had 97% penalty kick accuracy. If you wanna be like this then same thing can be said about Haaland , Ronaldo , etc . Football is a team sport .. why you bringing down an incredible player 🤦🏾♂️

The record still stands
Chicharito with Manchester?
@@azul_6.5-cf7dm Chicharito scored 38 goals in the Premier?
I don't think so. Let alone scoring them just with one touch
Beautiful reaction. I am a massive fan of American football and Hugo Sanchez helped me appreciate actual football

Rey de la chilena
Ponle subtitulos amigo
Mexico solo ha tenido 2 jugadores profesionales de Elite Hugo y Rafa, y ya parenle de contar.
Hugo Sanchez with the mexican national team was just an average player.
No tenía equipo. Nunca lo tuvo.
You gotta check Cuauhtemoc Blanco, the best mexican player.
Cuauhtémoc is the best Mexican player in Mexico and for the selección, Hugo Sánchez is Mexican player, internationally.
Temo doesn’t even come close to what Hugo did is Europe
