Replanting mangroves, restoring balance

Founded in 2016, the IUCN’s Kiwa Initiative recognises that natural ecosystems and biodiversity are critical to sustainable action on climate change. In this video, residents of Raviravi village in Vanua Levu, Fiji explain how a shoreline mangrove planting scheme is addressing soil erosion, rehabilitating native species and restoring balance in the ecosystem.
