Twould be silly to be upset by this video, everyone may form an opinion and you weren't dismissive or derogatory.
That being said you can make your character a male Nord, a crossdressing Argonian or a gay female Khajit but you can't change the character's dragon soul. one might argue that the LDB will follow one of three paths as a character of destiny, either the LDB will attempt to seize the throne, follow the way of the voice and then there's the Hero of Kvatch routemantle a daedric prince, possible given Hermeaous Mora's interest in LDB.
As a Dova LDB would have an unusual thirst for power and the ability to pursue power. Is this evil? Is it evil when a fox eats a chicken? At the end of the day its already canon that LDB has a dragon's soul and almost certainly a dragons lust for power LDBs nature would either compel him/her to Cyrodiil or into exile like Parthurnaax. Thing is that numerous characters would likely push LDB towards power, both the blades and Greybeards speak of the LDBs right and inclination to rule.

It would be cool to see the Dragonborn become Emperor. It would seem like a return to form for The Empire as There has not been a Dragonborn Emperor in over 200 years.
How about a new Empire arises? One that is led by the Deagonborn and abolishes both the Sotrmcloaks and Empire? It appeals to both sides of the TES community and we get a new plot twist.

Install the mod Rigmor of Cyrodiil and become Emperor in the end. Perfect ending for your adventure.

Rigmor has got to be the most annoying character I think I've ever "met" in a game. The part of the story where you're both sitting in the tree, I just wanted to shout her bald ass off the top of it the whole time.

The Last Dragonborn will likely become a legend lost to history in the next Elder Scrolls game.
Personally, I envisioned my Dragonborn becoming the High King of Skyrim, despite not being a Jarl of one of the Holds, because he had ended the Civil War, made the country safer throughout his travels, and saved Tamriel from Alduin. I then saw him becoming a significant figure in bringing the races of Men together, and leading armies against the Aldmari Dominion during the Second Great War, similar to how Talos had done centuries before. After the war, he would be crowned as The Emperor of a new empire.
I love that each player can have their own story for their own characters, and that's a part of what makes these games great.
I would have loved it if the Empire questline ended with the Dragonborn challenging Ulfric to a duel. I would love to shout him to death like he did to that poor child.

Only with mods it's possible, become Jarl Of Ivarstead, then become High King of Skyrim, finally become Emperor with Rigmor of Cyrodiil. I envisioned him joining all the Guilds, joining the Dark Brotherhood and the Stormcloaks. After Independence, Dragonborn has to basically conquer Cyrodiil, the same way Mede I conquered the rest of Cyrodiil.
He probably won’t be forgotten, but he will be more like the Nerevarine and COC where they will be mentioned, but not a major character since the gender and race will be kept secret.
He has the bend will shout, he can do what ever he wants. He is a dragon among sheep.
Bethesda always make the previous character disapear the champion of cyrodill mantled sheogorath so any mortal who saw him/her after that they would only see sheogorath
I mean, its also said that the annoying fan in TES 4 was actually Cicero, and that he killed the arena champion by sticking to him. So it is not 100% sure that he would become Sheogorath

That's called an Easter Egg or joke from the developers it's not Canon or at the very least it's what Ondřej Festa said, Also it's is in fact heavily implied Canon that the Hero of Kvatch/Champion of Cyrodiil is the New Sheo!
The hero of kvatch did not disappear read the book the oblivion crisis he is mentioned in that book

Literally any Oblivion player could have said the same thing about their Hero of Kvatch becoming Sheogorath, and yet, here we are.
Even if the Dragonborn just disappeared or became a king, dragons exist now. Imo the Dragonborn would have to wipe them out or make them chill. Imo the Dragonborn will make the dragons chill, and then disappears. Maybe to mora or maybe just sits at the throat of the world with parthurnaax smoking skooma.
I have definitely played some characters who would end up sitting at the throat of the world smoking skooma and talking with Paarthurnax.

I feel like the Dragonborn could use the dragons and everyone loyal to him and march on Cyrodiil and claim the throne. He speaks and commands dragons, Reman Cyrodiil and Tiber Septim have nothing against the last Dragonborn...he/she could start a new dynasty of Dragonborn emperors. And they’d use the thu’um and ride dragons and command legions of soldiers and dragons....and could now finally defeat the aldmeri dominion and maybe eventually invade Akavir....that’d be so cool if that all happened. Will it tho? Knowing Bethesda....no probably not. Which is sad 😞

I can definitely understand the last Dragonborn becoming the next High King of Skyrim. His influence on Skyrim has been monumental in the Skyrim civil war, all the daedric quests, killing Alduin, being the leader of many groups and organizations, being powerful as hell, and helping the people of Skyrim in general. I think if the last Dragonborn entered the moot, he would be elected as High King.

So, while the Dragonborn becoming trapped in the service of Mora would be an easy write off. It wouldn't make much sense. The FDB ended up trapped in Apocrypha to escape certain annihilation, but continued to gather followers and due to dragons returning he was able to gather strength and if not for LDB he would have escaped and gone on to probably take over Solsthiem and Skyrim with an army of cultists worshipping him. It is mentioned that it is the nature of all Dov to dominate and by no means be restrained. Also, unlike in Oblivion where the Hero of Kavach becomes Sheogorath, the LDB isn't bound to Apocrypha, Mora gives him free reign to come and go as he pleases and leaves him with full autonomy. That doesn't mean LDB becomes emporer, he might go off to Arkivir or be called to the Red Mountain, or found his own religion as he is basically a god.
But the last dragonborn is very similar character to Talos. What do you think about this - last dragonborn become new emperor of tamriel and then mentaling (i think that is crrect term) Talos and take his place as a new good of men.
1. Herma-Mora claims the "Last Dragonborn's" soul, 2. The term is "Mantling" or Chim maybe, 3. No just no.
It doesnt have to be just Hermaeus Mora, you still have Nocturnal, you have your place in Sovngard and other places.

Hermaues Mora is the only one that's canon per the Dragonborn DLC, and sicnce Daedra > Aedra when it comes to harvesting souls, Sovngarde wouldn't be it.

well lets not forget that Talos became a God and why wouldn't the Last Dragonborn became like one and tricked Mora since he absorbed a lot of Dragonsouls and we all know that Dragons are Akatosh's children same as Dragonborn and even more powerful than Talos. And all of those souls, what Miraak tried to do was to absorb as many souls as he can just to escape in such the Dragonborn's soul isn't touched or taken or can't be taken by Mora.
You could fix that, You could have Skyrim as an independent state (if you sided with stormcloaks) negotiate with the empire that Skyrim will only join back with the empire if the Dragonborn takes up being the emperor who is kinda in a bad way with the border and the aldmieri dominion, this could also help them reestablish the empire, cuz in TES 6 we will probably see a time jump
I still think the dragon blood is a solid claim for the throne. Of course no one is just going to give you the thrown, no matter what your claim is. But if anyone was like me and made their character god tier it doesn't matter if they aren't just going to give me the thrown. The dragon born is capable of just taking it if he so wishes.
And if you become a vampire lord, you can stay alive make sure your empire doesnt go down hill over the centuries

So bethesda scrap everything you have and create a continued game as the 2nd great war.

Basically no this would not be a good idea since that there would be too many rebellions against the Stormcloaks and those rebellions don't just have to be from Dark Elves it can be from humans to also Stormcloaks don't want Emperor they want a high King so pretty much a Stormcloak Victory is irrelevant and it is stupid. So pretty much we're going to have to wait until Elder Scrolls 6 to see what happened and who won the Civil War.

I agree with a lot of the video but I feel like there is a need for a Dragonborn Emperor because of the Thalmor I feel like the people that the Dragonborn is meant along the way and like DLCs like the Dawn Guard cut out for example that would be pretty cool

Your in charge of the blades and have the thuum in skyrim in game they down size you because it wouldn't be fun to destroy your enemies with a simple whisper but in lore theoretically the Dragon born can build an army an invade the empire harbinger of companions you have warriors archmage you have battle mages join stormcloaks of imperials they will back your claim become listener you have assassins that assassinate enemy leaders and politicians become grandmaster of thieves guild use corruption and favors to get information on empire and finally have akaviri blades as body guards and elite soldiers and spies for you if your convincing enough ask jarls as thane to lend hold troops and when you put it together you got an army .

I think its possible as the dark brotherhood questline has you kill the current emporer and his family leaving the empire without many candidates to take over the throne and just predicting that the next ES game will be not far in the future due to the empire is almost going to war with the Thalmor but i still think its unlikely

What if Knight Paladin Gelebor exposes his existence? As of now I’m sure the grudges of the past have passed and on a historical level the people of Tamriel could learn much from him. Say he walked into Solitude with the Dragonborn what would happen to him how would people react and how could his experience and knowledge shape the situations impacting Tamriel?
I remember you had to be of the Septim line or something before the end of Oblivion.
Bethesda makes it so that protagonists of each Elder Scrolls ends up disapearing in canon so that nothing that happens to that character in canon doesn't contradict the choices that the player made throughout their playthrough. The likely fate of The Last Dragonborn was that we went to Soltheim and Apocrypha to fight Miraak and was never seen again, similar to how the Hero of Kvatch went the Shivering Ilse and was never seen again, or how the Nerevarine went to Akaviir and was never seen again.
The only reason for my Dragonborn to want to become High King or Emperor is to spite the Thalmor even more.
I think the cannon story will be that the Dragonborn sided with the Stormcloaks, used the Voice to command dragons to assist in a reconquest of the Empire, start a new dynasty of Dragonborn Emperors, and eventually begin preparations for the Second Great War.
The Dragonborn would side with the Imperial Legion to do that, they would support him. It’s the army Tiber Septim created, they will support his dragonborn heir.
Dragon born beings are the true rulers he's basically shown that he's a chosen one or blood line of the septim rulers not the Titus mead who basically sounds like a drunk dragon born would never have lost the war

There's a difference here. At least for Oblivion; as one of its expansion literally turned you into a God. Making it canon.
In Skyrim you kill the emporer of cyrodil. The player in Skyrim has the dragon blood meaning that he is a septim and would give him a good claim to the throne.
The empire will collapse because of a second great war and the assassination of the emperor so Ulric would win in Skyrim but the remaining loyalist to elisif can ask the dragonborn to help and become high king by challenging ulfric like how he challenged torygg so when Ulfric is defeated the dragonborn will become high king and try to ally with high rock and hammerfell then morrowind by telling them about azura s star then gain there loyalty then march on cyrodill and become like how Tiber septim become emperor.

The dragonborn would actually make the best candidate for a new Emperor.
1. He/she his dragonborn, juste like Tiber Septim/Talos
2. He/she can call upon the aid of a red dragon Odahvin (which funny enough Talos also had a red dragon to conquer hammerfell)
3. The Dragonborn, canonwise his most likely a Nord, (Talos was also)
4.1 If sided with the Empire, he/she is a well respected Legat of the Imperial Légion
4.2 (less likely) If he/she sided with the Stormcloak, he could easely challenge Ulfrik to a duel and kill him in sigle combat (espacially with the voice), Become High-King and then either conquer the empire or allied with it, and eventually becoming the Emperor.
5. Even if the Blade are broken, and somewhat dump rigth now, they thecnicly support the Dragonborn. (which put even more backup to a potential claim)

But think about it if the DB becomes emperor than wouldn’t the rebels bow down because the Dragonborn is a god figure in there lore and history so it would be nice if DB would become emperor
Anyone in 2022? I think he's likely to become emperor because a little thing like emperor getting assassinated while a civil war is raging on, while the hero who's obviously the chosen and a literal god just waits to be called upon to sit on the throne in order to avoid a civil war on a larger scale. If Dragonborn doesn't take the imperial throne, then that's it for the empire.
And remember that it's a roleplaying game, not everyone decided to be a dragonborn assassin, some surely brought back the Brotherhood from the ashes and assassinated the emperor in their gameplays.
Continuing what I commented in last vid... Beowulf Blood-Steader (my Nord character) became High King of Skyrim after helping her people heal their wounds, etc. Now, ten years have passed since then and Beowulf did more FOR Skyrim and her people than every other High King/Queen after Ysgramor. Beowulf rebuilt the Nord Army, brought the Companions to better than their former glory, by changing "Ysgramor's 500" to "Beowulf's 5,000" Companions! And the same thing went to the Blades, along with his ancestors' Ebony Warriors ( at least 100,000), Beowulf had his own personal army! And improving the Hold Cities as a whole, Beowulf was a better High King than Ysgramor in the eyes of the people and their Jarls. In his role as High King, Beowulf had many advisers, but he had 2 key administrators in his court, as a matter of fact, they were two of Skyrim's Jarls! Ulfric Stormcloak, Jarl of Eastmarch, served as the Nord Army's Commander in Chief, while Elesif the Fair, Beowulf's wife, served as Skyrim's head diplomat and ambassador to the other Races that wish to join in Skyrim's coming fight against the Thalmor.

Just because he can’t politically doesn’t mean he can’t militarily by starting a civil war and obliterating any army he comes across
It makes no sense to me that someone of so much power that goes and vanquishes a dragon-god, and stops vampires from indefinitely blotting out the sun, and stops an evil conqueror, goes on to do nothing of significance in history. I expect nothing less of Bethesda than for them to give the dragonborn great accomplishments after the end of the game.
For the Dragonborn to become the head of the next imperial dynasty and win the next great war would be awesome. Even if in some playthroughs players played as stormcloaks, that doesn't mean that the Canon ending can't be one that leads to a dragonborn emperor.
Also just because dragon-blood is no longer a necessity for the keeping of the dragon fires, doesn't mean that it wouldn't still be a plus. Dragonborn are Akatosh's chosen, like Alessia and Talos. Why not have this dragonborn as the founder of the next dynasty. If the dragonborn is made emperor, it is likely the Canon will make them a human male, probably a nord or imperial. If a Nord, perhaps they'd have him marry an imperial woman from the political establishment so that succeeding emperors would be imperial.

I always imagined my character building an army using the bend will shout and taking control of the empire.
The way I look at it is I separate the stories with the exception of the civil war that is open to interpretation. Like yes you do become the leader of most the guilds/organizations, but to me that’s not the dragon born those are another person overall just footnotes in the overall story of Skyrim. The main quests from Skyrim, Dawnguard, and Dragon born are all what the dragon born accomplished. Those are the legacy they have forged, and I only say this because of how the hero of kavatch was remembered in lore they are sheogorath but their main purpose was the story of oblivion I haven’t seen any mention of them being in other guilds/organizations just they are a footnote in history.
In the end it is just a rpg and a game full of choices for everyone to forge their own paths, but to me the main stories will be the dragon borns legacy while the others are events that happen in Skyrim during the crisis. Edit: I forgot to add that I agree that the dragon born will most likely be hermaeus mora servant and/or a champion that he might use to get any information from the moth priest (not to certain on what he doesn’t know) so he could use it as an opportunity for it
I figured even a Stormcloak would want to be emperor. The dragonborn emperor could rule the empire...or dismantle it...or reform it into a kingdom and give all provinces sovereignty...and/or unite them against the Thalmor. Depending on how much further in time ES 6 takes place, the current state of the empire could be the same regardless. Maybe it was destroyed after the Dragonborn's time.

Elder Scrolls 6 takes place just 5 years after the events of Skyrim so it's very possible the Last Dragonborn became Emperor and helps conquer the Aldmeri Dominion because the Dragonborn is the Chosen one in about everything including political, Dragonborn was meant to conquer if the Last Dragonborn is not Emperor he would have some involvement of taking down the Thalmor

The Dragonborn historical role will be that he defeted Alduin, nothing more.
And the Volkihar Vampire Clan and the Cult of Miraak on Solstheim(with the Skaal remembering how the Dovahkiin "defeated" Herma-Mora) which may or may not be mentioned.
Mostly folk tales and rumors unless we found a sexy vampire lady in the next game who claim she was there when this things happened.
Yeah that's probably the most that's gonna happen if that, Yet people just won't accept that until the next game that will do exactly what the previous one's did. The only Canon Bethesda Games have is the Main Story and DLC's and that's it! Everything else isn't Canon to the next game! this is my opinion but i think the next emperor should be the dragonborn, being a her WHO SAVE THE FRIGGIN WORLD FROM THE LITERAL EVIL INCARNATION OF A GOD (aka the nordic akatosh, aka alduin) he should be respected not just by the denizens of skyrim BUT ALL OF Tamriel... and with that respect they claim him emperor, thus making a new dragonborn bloodline to replace a once forgotten bloodline, the septims. and with his fame as dragonborn many people including the nords would be comparing him to talos, and thus even more respect. and honestly yeah this would be amazing, (better than the nerevarine going off to akavir never to return or the hero of kvatch becoming sheogorath...)

I mean the dragonborn kind of becomes a military leader with whichever side that he/she joins. If you fight for the storm cloaks you kind of become ulfric's next right-hand man possibly an error for when ulfric eventually dies, If he joins the empire he becomes a legget (forgive the spelling) in any sense he could circle his way around to becoming some kind of nobility
I say definitely the Dragonborn can legit kill Titus mede II and stage it as a brotherhood hit and show up to The imperial council with a fkn army of dragons and the full support of Skyrim and the nords I mean they can’t say no u legit have an army of dragons and your the Dragonborn so I mean it’s highly possible

Even though glass septum sacrificed himself to seal the gates of Oblivion does it mean those seals can weaken over time take it for the events of of the era of the Elder Scrolls Online Molag Bal has created portals anchors into Tamriel this should be allowed of course the proper heir to the throne do not have the Amulet of kings at this time but after the war of Wars I doubt any advisor or for that matter a long-lived person like an elf who served the Empire Faithfully wouldn't consider the events that would happen if the omelette with somehow shatter or destroyed how disastrous could it be as well as possibly theorize if the portals to Oblivion would somehow became seal before then how long it would last
The only one that can think of that could predict this would be the high elves or the dark elves the are the two long-lived races of Tamriel with dark elves living a much more longer lives than that of the High Elves giving him the long lifespan they can make a very accurate prediction of what events that will happen centuries later as well as them being proficient in the magical arts and with the dark elves having their Patron the Daedric Lord of sunrise and sunset to give them visions of the future

You don't know want happens at the end of the Skyrim because the game ends. You forgot the third way to end the war, I know the war ended the way it was suppose to end. Graybeards let both sides talk to each other to stop the war after the dragons were gone from Skyrim. It is possible that the war is still going on in Skyrim in Elder Scrolls VI or the war ends both armies fight the dragons. The Dragonborn could be High King of Skyrim and rain over Skyrim not taking any other lands. In Elder Scrolls IV there was an Amulet of Kings, what if the Last Dragonborn makes another one his rule of the land. You see I don't have a clue want Elder Scrolls VI will be about but we will find out about the Last Dragonborn.

They can't really say a lot about the Dragonborn in he next game.
People who have done multiple playthroughs have probably got characters who are too different to be one canon being.
For example I've made warrior/paladin characters heavy armour and no sneaking fight for the side of good and avoid evil quests, Mages that conjure daedra to fight for them, sneak assassins loyal to the Dark Brotherhood and less loyal ones who the only price they will accept for life is life, so killed Leigelf, Muiri and Amaund after completing their quests.
Thats a small number of characters made by one person, I've made many more, then the millions of players who have made different builds. The only real canon thing they can say is that the Dragonborn killed Alduin because that is the main story.
There was a mod that lets u become emperor but its not there any more.

I mean he's a semi-immortal, Nigh indistructable heir of a god that literally founded the empire and killed a wannabe God, united the nords, killed hundreds of thousands of people and was rechristened Talos in honor of his worthiness. When he was alive the Dominion not only bowed to him they were so scared of him they outlawed his worship when he was anointed. The Dragonborn is only half as powerful if even and has no legitimate claim as he's not a septim since Martin had no kids but he's still able to go toe to toe with Gods, Daedric Princes, dragons, giants, an entire army, a former Dragonborn and the destroyer of world's add to that the dragonborn has the entire Nordic province all the Guilds, parthurnax and his dragons, the grey beards and Talos behind him... in short... If he showed up in cyrodiil I'm pretty sure the council would shit bricks as their one by one murdered then the dragonborn can claim the Throne by right of Conquest just like Tiber Septim and Titus Mede I.
while TLD does have a claim to the throne, I believe He/She will be stuck in Apocrypha like Miraak.

I completely agree that I do not think the Dragonborn will not be the next emperor. Being the Dragonborn does not guarantee that they deserve the throne. I agree too that the developers would have to pick an ending. People would be mad if their decisions were just made completely irrelevant. I think the next Elder Scrolls will not say much about the Dragonborn. They may reference or hint at the Dragonborn, but I think they will keep the character's life unclear.
That is also assuming that the next Elder Scrolls will be taking place after the events of Skyrim. It is entirely possible we could be getting a prequel.

ReAL passw0rd thot destroyer well since alduin went around reviving nearly every dead dragon in Tamriel, we have a number of dragons we can controls, an immortality, the dragon born is essentially a demigod with abilities most don’t. He could probably enhance his lifespan some way or preserve his youth. It’s definitely been done it TES before. But that’s my own head canon. Bethesda will most likely have him/her stuck with Hermaus mora
