I've literally never seen press and interviews with anyone who's worked with Ryan that didn't go over him! He is chemistry personified, like Jake gyllenhaal. I wish he, jake, Ryan reynolds, Emma Stone, Clooney and Russell the most amazing film ever regardless of what it was and it can just be called Chemistry

Yah....Gosling and Crowe had something in common. One is Australian and the other is Canadian....both Commonwealth countries! There's a similar mindset. They need to work together again!
Vfn556 yes Australian, Canadian and let’s not forget the other Aussie in the film Angourie Rice! The three of them were great especially the chemistry between Ryan and Angourie they both made us feel that they were dad and daughter. The best scene in the film is when Crowe sees Tice in the empty lot! Their scene together is so touching and then after the scene when Crowe walks over to his 1966 Olds and gets in and there’s the close up of Crowe’s face after he realizes what he said to Rice is masterful acting! The last time I saw an actor reflect how they felt with a facial expression that says it all was Christoper Walken in the Dead Zone when he’s in the hospital ICU and his mother passes away in front of him! This film screams for a sequel!

decent movie. they had very good chemistry but the movie didn't do that well at the box office.
Personally think it was above "decent movie". Incredibly witty movie that I found refreshing. Unfortunately, wasn't as popular as I thought it deserved but ehhh I believe popularity doesn't determine (maybe correlates to some degree) quality. For example (a bad one since its political/based off assumptions), I think Trump was more popular amongst voters (in terms of key states not sure if he was higher in total votes of all states) and am still sad because i assumed that Bernie would have been the best candidate.
Love me some Russel Crowe. I just love 100% alpha-man :)
ofcourse it didn'r, it's about people talking to each other in a time frame that's a complete mystery for modern kids , not about asses in spandex
