Best podcast yet. The three best youtubers spitting the truth about viewing numbers. Every non-major PGA event should literally be saving spots for you guys, and allowing content. Their tourneys would immediately go from irrelevant to relevant and with no cost to the broadcasters.
To verify what you said, at 71 years of age and decades of golf watching, I watch much more TH-cam golf than PGA Tour. Why? Because it is more entertaining, and it gets me closer to the course and the players.
Years ago I got Sky to watch golf. Now I only watch the Majors! The reason being TH-cam content, especially you three! Looking forward to the Golfbidder video though!!

it's not hard to understand why you tube Golfers are popular to watch, they invite into their lives. Bryan Brothers, Grant and yourself etc. You are able to watch good golf and feel entertained by the collab's. Good example is Bryson, on the PGA tour you watch him play but when he started his you tube channel you got to meet the person. Wow not only an amazing golfer but a great dude. l could go on but you get it.

sounds reminiscent of Doonbeg in Ireland. My cousin was the first person on site (before course was built) and he was membership director. The 2 major investors/owners at the time also came from Carolina (Kiawah Island)

Peter, next time you are in Columbia, SC, I will happily invite you out to play The Woodcreek Club and Camden Country Club, great Fazio and Ross courses, respectively. Both in the Columbia area. Woodcreek is a big Fazio course with a wonderful practice facility and Camden has the Ross bones we all love so much. Woodcreek has brand new greens and both courses are in pristine shape undergoing constant improvement in all areas of the course and club. I guarantee you will leave both wanting to come back and play more.
I think the golf course having the backing of the Bryan Bro’s alone will generate a ton of traffic. I live and Austin surrounded by great golf and I’ve added this course to my very short list of places to visit.
The audio-to-video feed is/was fine. The cabling to the headset monitor must've been bad because they were hearing crackling in the headsets, but it wasn't the mic cables to the main console... check the monitor cables.
Great podcast. My only concern with the TH-cam tournament format is if broadcasters get involved like they did with GoodGood, because that was awful. Much prefer to see full 18 hole matches between a few people rather than the tournament format
The pga not showing the Bryan Bros and making a story about it just shows how far they are removed from what people want to see. Probably the two biggest names in that tourney and brothers playing in the same event is very rare.
I sit and watch TH-cam golf with my younger son when we can’t play due to weather or scheduling. We would rather watch TH-cam golf than most shows on TV
If you were to have a TH-camrs golf event. For me, it would have to be a handicap event, not a scratch. That would make it far more open and whoever your favourite youtuber is, they would have a chance. Also, it would be a differential point to the professional tours.
Where You Tube Golf works is that you can watch it wherever you are in th world whenever it suits you. I can watch UK and US content when I need it plus it is more fun and entertaining and I can invest whatever time I have.
I think Pete makes the best golf content bar none. He's so likeable and has no ego. Some of the good goods are just too yahoo in your face kinda shouty and OTT.

Is there going to be a shift from more college players realising they’re not the next Rory and becoming content creators. Especially when there’s a TH-cam tour. PGA tour will have to change to divisions like EPL so more get paid
I hope youtube golfers don’t see tournament golf as the next step forward. You’re beating the tours on views for a reason. Keep it fun and compact. A couple events a year would be enough.

I for one, heard George made the cut but didn't care much at all (at the time) because I didn't watch their content... AT ALL. I watched (and still watch) Shielsy, Finchy, Matthew Fryer, Andy Carter, Iona Stephen, Genevieve Ling, BDS, Grant Horvat, (very little Good Good, I don't like them either, other than Grant and Garrett), occasional Tig (Micah), a little BustaJack but never got into Bryan Bros. because George's speaks so quick and choppy and tends to interrupt a lot and Wesley seemed so arrogant but now I've given them a chance, only to realize I was wrong about them and have grown to like them. I wish them all the success now and will support them to the end.

But more eyeballs doesn't necessarily equal revenue ☝ Tour events have huge purses, huge sponsors, sell a ton of live tickets, and these events are broadcast live. TH-cam videos are available on demand 24/7 and for free so naturally it's easier to watch. And the video runtimes are very short. With all of that said, some kids dancing on tiktok can get more views than pro golf and TH-cam golf combined, but it doesn't equal value.
Do you think that the PGA Tour has put out that offer for TH-cam content creators to compete in the PGA event so that they can embargo your content until April? Meanwhile they have a couple of events that could get more viewership because TH-cam Golf has dried up the last few weeks.

People would rather see TH-cam dedicated tournaments. Let's say 15 a year across the U.S. and have ticket sales, channels merch and vending. It would crush the pga tour. People are watching TH-cam golf.
So another guy designed the course, it was an existing course, and some rich guy paid for it all. So whatdoes the course have to do with the bryan brothers other than they play it.
PGA Tour is broken, Imagine if of the 1700 professional NFL Players only 200 got paid a decent wage. While LIV is. Not for everyone, the payout makes sense even if the purse is inflated. if you get your tour card you should get minimum wage after basic travel expenses. Lose your card sure you lose your pay.
It seems odd to me that you discuss how the PGA product is not being watched as much as you tube golf, yet you are trying to create a you tube video that mimics the PGA tour, the reason I watch you tube and NOT the PGA tour is because the you tube content is not like the PGA tour. If it isn't broke, don't fix it.
You should be talking to your Governor. Your course is a positive contribution to your capital. Please, call the Governor, Congressman, Senator and get their pulse beat and how they can lend support.
