Apparently the original, which was created for the Judgment Day party in 1995, was recorded onto VHS. So this is probably a 3rd generation copy of that at least, 20+ years after the fact. It's a shame we'll probably never see the original.
The Last one has a gameplay section of Doom Eternal in the BFG 10k Control room that isn't in the game I'm sad i really wish to spend more time in the phobos base
what weirded me out about doom when I first seen it was the numbers for health. they looked scary for some odd reason and I didn't understand how the health system worked. it was so surreal to me.

They almost did; the first Doom movie production started in 1995, but that version went into development hell and is lost to the sands of time. Some of the miniatures that were built for it showed up in photos a long time ago and basically looked like the monsters from the game, so it's a real shame.

I got a mystery for you Doomkid. There's at least one trailer missing from this list. Back in the 90s, I really feel like the summer or spring of 1998 specifically, Toys'r'us had some kind of big wall TV with a bunch of buttons on it. There were video game icons on all of them and one of them was Doom. All I can remember is the narrator called Doomguy "Drak" and called the automap the "beyon-o-map". I have not been able to find it anywhere, it might very well be lost media. We never ended up going back to Toys'r'us so I never saw it again. Looking at Wikipedia, it could have been a 3DO or Sega Saturn trailer but those might be dead ends.
