    Love it around 14 mins when you just throw your hands up and start talking about how much you love this gun and .30 cal airguns in general. I have that feeling a lot, haha. Have the same gun in .45 lots of fun. Air rifles are a great sport.

    Great shot Mr.Rick. Love the accuracy once zeroed in. Hatsan is the true power house I'd say. I've this model in forty five cal with open sight plus DonnyFL Emperor. Shots true and kicks more than Barrage and Bullmaster or any other air rifles I ever had.

    I always love your reactions when you make a good shot they're priceless. I do the same exact thing.... It's like looking in a mirror.
    My HATSAN BT65 in 25 caliber / with a leapers AO SWAT scope..4x16x44... Is my "go-to" rig. I got so tired of putting pellets through the same hole... I started shooting at the numbers on the shoot and see targets. I call it "Goose Egging" the numbers. When I turn all those numbers 6 through 9.... Into shot out zeros.... I know my rifle is badass and I am on top of my game. Even at 50 yards it's way too easy. I love doing it at a hundred yards at my father-in-law's property where I have three different Crosswinds even on a calm day. The Mil Dot reticle on the Leapers is perfect for my vision. Had a hundred yards the number isn't always goose egged.... But it's partial or always touching. Then I have to go back to shooting a break barrel to bring me back to reality...LOL!
    It really is unbelievable how getting into the sport of air gunning has helped me out on the range with powder burners.
    My best friend and shooting instructor for at least 10 years.... He still my best friend by the way he just doesn't instruct me anymore...
    He was a sharpshooter in the Army and the Marine Corps. He wants told me a long time ago..... If you can shoot a break barrel accurately you can shoot anything.
    I can't drive tacks with it at a hundred yards...but my HATSAN 125 SNIPER in 17 caliber is the most amazing break barrel rifle I've ever shot. I can get a five to six inch group at a hundred yards. To me that's pretty much unheard of out of a 17 caliber break barrel.
    Well I guess I have rambled on enough I've got a daughter that needs attention. And it looks like you've got some more grass in the background to mow.
    I love the videos keep them coming.

    The Hercules Bully in .30 cal. is one awesome gun. Very accurate and very powerful and a very good shot count. I think it is unbelievable to have that kind of power with that kind of accuracy and shot count. I have 5 PCPs and several springers including a world class Air Arms TX 200 and a Very accurae RWS 54 both very accurate but are toys compared to the Hatsan Bully in 30 cal. I have had it for a couple months now and it is the only gun I really want to shoot now. It is very lound as everyone says but I got a Donnly L moderator which quitened it down to back yard friendly. I shoot it almost every day weather permitting. It shoots very flat tuned to around 870 with JSB 44.75 pellets. I can zero it at 45 yds and will shoot very flat from 15 yds to 50 and only about 2 inches low AT 60 YDS. I highly reccomend this gun....get one you will not be disappointed. Most awesome pellet gun I have. Cant hardly wait to take it coyote hunting.

      @brandonthorpe9905 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I've shot both, have the bully and I believe they have the same barrel (they have a very specific design, qe technology) it's just pushed back some in the bully, so the projectile engages just as much rifling, builds up the same pressures in the barrel. The only real difference is shot count, qe holds more air.

Now if you can take that gun and put up a group less than 1 inch at 125 yards you will have broken southern gunners record for the tightest group with a 30 cal at 125 yards plus it was in a 10mph wind of .978 thousandths of a inch. So to break it the group would have to be .977 thousandths of a inch lol. Great shooting Rick.

    Hey Rick, I have had this unquenchable craving for a Hatsan Hercules Bully in 45 cal. However, Umarex has now come out with The Hammer .50, it is also made in the USA and depending on ammo, can obtain speeds over 1000 - 1200 FPS. Downsides to me seem to be only 2 shots per mag. and the bolt action doesn't seem as fluid as the Hatsan. Your hands are on a lot more guns than mine. What would you thoughts be?

    • @shooter1721
      @shooter1721  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Rick Taylor I did not shoot the Hammer yet but I can speak from experience with the Hatsan bully in 30 CAL I here is a 45 caliber is just as accurate. And I have seen wild boar taken with it. I would not be afraid to get a 45 caliber Bully.

    • @Tripsolo65
      @Tripsolo65 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oh, no doubt Rick, The Hatsan is freakishly awesome, you've proven that on video with the 30 cal., The ballistics and FPE on the Hammer have got my attention though. They are claiming hole touching hole @ 100 yds. I am just really kind of torn at this point. Thanks for the input though. Would really like to see you shoot the Hammer 50 in a side by side with the Bully in 45.

The trigger weight you measured,was that without adjustments? If it was I'd like to see it adjusted to your preferred pull weight and see if the accuracy improves. I'd like to see off hand shots to see how the weight,though lighter than the standard version,will affect your accuracy. Throwaway Well the Flex and the Bully are even on power and accuracy trigger is better on the flex but price is better on the Bully . Both are great guns . The New Cobra Flex is regulated ! I asked Jim G to send us one for review

    Nice review! They did some improvements which is fantastic!.
    Unfortunately is too loud, not a Back Yard Friendly.
    What happened with Hatsan USA?
    They forgot to add a regulator and their famous QE moderator?
    It may sound negative but they are constructive criticism.
    I do not have anything against Hatsan or towards you,
    I own two .25 cal PCP's an AT-44 regulated and a Bullboss which it will add a regulator very soon. I take both of my PCP's when i go hunting but after been on the field for a short time they become too heavy. Hatsan should make this PCP's at least between 7 - 8 lbs in weight. Less than 8lbs would be perfect.
    During my field trips, I take them with me. I let some of my friends to use my Hatsan's since they had see how they performed at the field by getting impress with their power and accuracy, so I let them borrowed at the field. Their only complain at the end of the day by saying the same "They are good but too heavy to handle after a while" We go hunting early until dawn, at least 8 hours.
    Hatsan USA, should think in manufacturing at least lighter and regulated Air Guns (in General).
    As an a fellow air gunner and as a consumer. Maybe some other air gunners have the same concerns in general.
    The reality is that I bet you, if Hatsan USA take in consideration our concerns, more air gunners will turn their eyes into Hatsan as another alternative prior to invest on an expensive air gun (General).
    I know it may not be easy but the air gun industry is changing and we are looking for lighter in weight and regulated, air guns.
    Hatsan USA, should start listening to the Air gunners needs.
    Since you have closer tights with them, you may let them know some of our concerns.
    They will listen to you.
    Thank you for the review and I am still impress with the options of different calibers with their new Hatsan Hercules Bully.
