@@Jackymtkfas I store them usually in a bin and then put them back together if they fall apart. I only keep train things together without other sets. Sometimes I take a train box and put all the similar train sets from the same era in that box. I find most train boxes hold the train built in it and they store well. Especially if the box folds open from the top/front face
It would be a dream if LEGO made boxes like this as in with proper trays.
This is also the one they had as 1st train set in the museum section of the big lego convention around utrecht last time so lets go

Very cool set! I had a few sets from late 60s or early 70s and they can with plastic trays holding the parts and for storage after disassembly.
