I think it’s okay to not care what anyone thinks about you because really who cares. But people tend to use that as an excuse to neglect their health, hygiene and lifestyle. I think you should still love yourself and present yourself the way you want to, to the world but also not at the expense of yourself.
It really is a compliment that we all watch and love your videos because of who you are & that you are “ one of us” not with fillers, hair extensions & promoting things every 2 minutes for cash that don’t work. Real knows real. I’m so glad you have this fantastic attitude ❤️
My friend, I have followed you for years now. I want you to know that whenever you stop caring, a part of you dies and it's hard to get it back. You have to care for yourself, to lift yourself and convince yourself that you CAN do what you put your mind and body to. Don't give up on yourself. Fuck everyone else. Your well being matters.
I’m sorry, but I have to say this: I live in the Netherlands and here the equivalent of pyjama pants are the jeans. Never seen anyone here wear pj’s or sweat pants doing their groceries/running errands. I have never done it either. Sweat pants and pj’s are more like home “attire”. I guess in Europe trends are bit different than in the US.

@@moxiejju7014exactly! Taking care of yourself, finding yourself cute and don’t care about what others think is true self love. Don’t taking care of yourself, living isolated without any friend are true signs of depression 😢
There is this woman that comes into my job pretty regularly and she is so adorable I always say I wanna be her when I grow up even though I'm probably at least 10 years older than her. She just dresses so cute and kinda maximalist and I love it.
I also didn't give af. I was much larger than I was this time last year. I got weight loss surgery because I was tired of being fat and tired. I feel like what you meant was you don’t give a eff to dress to appease others. Not that you don’t give an eff to look and feel good for yourself. As people are saying in the comments to give up is not good. To not be clean and presentable is one thing. To not dress for others and what they think is pretty is another. Yes as we get older we give less and less shits about what others think of us in ways. You would not want to go out stinking to high hell of BO and have super smelly greasy hair and unbrushed teeth. That’s a whole different kind of not giving an eff. Good hygiene is still and always will be a must. Now I don’t mean shower everyday and be overly groomed. Just not stinking and grimy. I like the sentiment, but I’m not fully buying it. “Look good feel good” goes a long way in my opinion. Theres value in putting yourself together everyday. It’s amazing if you’re truly happy in your own skin and body, but if you aren’t it’s okay to change too. Just as long as you’re doing it for yourself and nobody else. I feel like the internet is protesting against beauty and femininity lately.
I think the point is to wear what makes you happy and makes you feel good, not for others. That’s going to be objective. You can never satisfy the world. I’m in my 40s and I don’t care either. If I feel good about myself that’s all that matters
Same! I just can't bring myself to care about much anymore. Of course I am a little obsessive about hygiene personally (other people constantly tell me how good I smell), but makeup/hair/cute outfit? I just can't be bothered most days.
Queer Eye's Tan France also guided people on how to find clothes that suited them. My recollection is that most people did not know what to buy, what looked good on them, where to shop, and liked the coaching. I remember that "What Not to Wear" was much more intense, but both shows seemed to focus on calling out people's bad self-care.
That eyeliner looks so good on you!!! This is probably my favorite video, especially for those of us who mask or worry about how we’re perceived by others. Great video, great chat.
Love this video. When I was younger, I was obsessed with looking perfect at all times. I wasted so much of my life worrying about it. Now (as a 35 year old), I couldn’t care less in the best way. I’ve discovered who I am, what I love and what I want to put my energy into. Looking like society’s idea of the perfect woman is not something I want to waste this life doing!
I watched that show faithfully!!! It was kind of brutal sometimes! I always thought well when you’re home you’re not gonna be wearing blazers and heels.. they never really showed much casual wear… Glad they’re going to team up again though with maybe a different approach… Have a great Sunday Cassie ♥️
I don’t feel that what not to wear was all bad, I feel like sometimes the people on the show were depressed, had low self esteem. And it maybe did them some good to show them they are worth taking care of themselves, not for other people but for themselves. I also loved this show.

I used to love that show too. I am waay older than you, in fact, today is my 68th birthday. If there was anything I could tell my younger self it's wear whatever the eff you want, eat whatever you want (within reason, we want to be healthy) and just be your dang self! It's a shame we don't get that much earlier in life because we waste so much time worrying about how we look!
this is definitely a mindset that i have been trying to develop. it can be so difficult, especially as a woman in this society. others seem to think that our worth is completely tied to our looks, and that is simply not true. i have decided to stop giving a shit about what people think of me - i act the way i feel, i don't hide my interests or my exuberance anymore. i feel so much more free when i also just don't give a fuck what people think. the people who see the real you and stay are the ones that are meant to be there. and you're right! we only have one life and ourselves through it all. other people can come and go. i really only need to focus on making myself happy, everyone else is either a plus (or not). relationships (romantic or platonic), looks, these things are fleeting. our thoughts, our minds, are our true home. i would rather think about and focus on the things that make me happy than what other people think of me.
I find it crazy that when you first get to know someone and you don't find them at all cute. But then you find out that they have such a great humor, and has a great personality and all the traits we women want, its crazy how they become attractive to you. I mean one minute you're like no I want that person and then the next your like hmmm maybe lol. That happened to me once.
Ppl really not getting the message of the video. I love ur take on things, and always have. Always love seeing u post…been watching since i was a freshie in hs; im 25 now
I also watched the show back in the day. My anxiety made me fill so sorry for these people. I would have been mortified to think someone went into my closet. Touched my clothes and then decided what I should wear and how I should look. Cookie cutter style. I may not be a style maven, but my skin fits
If these comments tell me anything, it's that TH-cam is still the single most toxic social media platform on the internet. I'm sorry you have to read so many armchair diognostics about depression and self-esteem. Sigh.
this video uplifted my mood a ton, really! i struggle with my mental health and issues regarding self-esteem, and i hope i can capture the essence of "i don't give an F" more with time. its happy to see you feeling free and more comfy in your own skin, you deserve it 💓
Do you remember th adorable little woman who wore fairy wings all the time? She looked heartbroken when they took away all her wings. It was so sad and she was so cute. The wings suited her personality. Why take away something that makes a person so happy?! Right? I loved the show too though.😌💗

That’s a helluva combination right there, I am so sorry. I wondered if I was agoraphobic when I was young but it was never the fear of being out of my house and more so the fear of social interaction. It has persisted my entire life.
Well I usually dress very casually daily as I can't afford the time and effort involved but I'm far from depressed and love to dress up for occasions! I think it can differ from person to person.😊
How funny I actually still do that with the moving fabrics that feel nice along my cuticle and nails , and it definitly soothes me xD I used to do it while sucking my thumb which I stopped doing later in life.
I use to love that show!! I’m excited about a reboot. There use to be a show the look for less where there was a picture you would shop for to recreate the look. I just love stuff like that!
I’m excited about that reboot show. I loved that show too! And I love hearing you ramble. It’s great to hear someone so down to earth and do a GRWM that is a normal makeup look and not so glammed up. And yes yes yes to not giving a f***. Thanks for the insight Cassie.
What Not To Wear was something that my mom and I would watch. There were a couple other programs after that or before that we also watched. So I will have to tell her about this!
I love you, Cassie :) I've been watching you since before I had my daughter and she is 9 now, so I have definitely seen you go through it. I've also gone through it during that time. Every day is a work in progress ❤
This is typically American to have people going to the grocery shop in pjs. I feel this isn’t showing respect to the staff of the store to show up like that and also reflects were you sit on the social ladder. You would never see that in EU. People are casual, but mostly they take care on how they look with their own style. As said my view as an European.
I think people who wear pjs in public don't care about themselves at all, hence they don't care what other think. Def not someone to adore. But then again... american thing
Are you American? It actually comes from being a extremely individualistic society. We don't aim to confirm just for the sake of polite society. Plus we are over worked and stressed. Literally no one cares if you wear clean pjs to the store or air port. It's an elitist mindset to think otherwise
@@natalierose1072it's not elitist but that's exactly what she wants others to think. She doesn't like herself very much n thinks if she puts on this air that others will think she's elite n in her mind that's a good thing n makes her feel a bit better about herself. Very sad. 😢
I am an American and I agree that being “dressed” in pjs is just gross. You look sloppy and like you don’t care about yourself. You can still look put together and be comfortable, I feel like people are so polarized.
It's not an American thing. I live in one of the larger US cities, and shop at a broad spectrum of stores (urban, suburban, etc) . And I've never seen anyone in pajamas. Unless, it's pajama day at my elementary school.
@@nicoledevine85 My PJs do not make me look gross or sloppy!! I look sexy in my PJs. I've never seen anybody look gross or sloppy in PJs. Most likely it's that YOU wear sloppy n gross PJs. 🤔🤔
I have always marched to a different drummer than the average person. I didn’t do what the ‘normal’ teenager did and was driven to do well in school, as I had to as my father died. Doing well in school would mean I could get a scholarship- the only way I was going to college. I loved ‘What not to Wear’ I had to conform in my twenties when I got a grownup job and it was mandatory that women wear dresses and panty hose. Glad that time is gone. I had put in a survey that it was sexist - I didn’t mean to send the survey but had forgotten meant to go back and change that. Our dress code was changed the next year, not sure if it was because of that - it probably wasn’t but if it helped a little I would be happy. Glad that times are changing so that everyone can have their own style.
If you are in a conservative profession (finance or banking) then you are expected to look "normal" or you will not be respected and passed over for promotions. But if you are in a creative profession (fashion) then you can express yourself more. If you are self employed or dont work then you can just not give a F. There is some risk to just being yourself though. People can laugh at you behind your back, which is very hurtful if you find out. People can be hyper judgmental. I think the goal should be to look as attractive as you can look and like you care about yourself.
Eeeeee I love Sunday afternoons and watching your newest video! Esp love when I catch your makeup videos and also your Pokémon card opening/organizing videos 🥰
Honestly I don’t know your channel. I was just looking up a foundation review. Anyways - the foundation video you did was 3 years ago. I was just kinda curious if you were still making videos and of course you are. I clicked thru this one. Sounds like you have some self esteem issues. But the only reason why I’m commenting is because you actually look more put together now than 3 years ago. You know how rare that is? You look better than ever!! Don’t fret. You’re fine how you are. :)
Some comments are saying not caring is unhealthy bla bla bla. Fuck them. I think what you mean is……. You are ACCEPTING yourself now a days. Yes it’s not giving a fuck anymore. But taking care of yourself and not caring what others think means you are accepting who you are as a person and I think that’s actually a healthy lifestyle. Taking care of yourself and not giving a fuck what anyone says about what you look like. As long as you’re a kind hearted person which you are. And live healthy eat good, yes sometimes we eat junky omg it’s the end of the world lol. Just be you. And that’s to anyone. If anyone reading is actually physically or mentally unhealthy then yes, care about those things and take care of yourself. But what I see in you Cassie is your just accepting yourself for who you are and it takes a long time to achieve it and finally find it when you (like me) fall out of it. It’s a process. People need to chill
watching you since 2016, i am in awe of how much you’ve grown and evolved. i remember you not wanting too bold of a makeup look to now where you do whatever makeup feels right or not wear makeup at all. it’s so powerful and inspiring. you are truly a light 💞
I saw that show a couple of times. I thought it was kinda mean. Why in the heck does anyone care what a person wears! I have always dressed for myself. Plus.. I don't really consider those comfy pants marketed as lounge pants to be pajamas. I don't think I've ever seen anyone out and about in actual pajamas.
One of the episodes that stuck out the most was a beautiful, plus size blonde woman. I have been plus sized since puberty. She had to shop at Old Navy, while smaller people got to shop at fun and funky stores in the city. If you were plus sized, though, it was Old Navy for you. Really demoralizing to a younger me.
Im in my 40s and my i Dont give an F is a beautiful thing!!!! Im comfortable w myself and who i am!!! I will always physically take care of myself but as far as what anyone thinks about my appearance or clothing choices ...I DONT GIVE A F&$K !!!!! 🫶🏽‼️😁
Hey idk if you even remember me but I knew you back in high school, and I always thought you were pretty rad and tbh I'm not friends with any of those people any more either so it might not have been a you problem
Actually Casandra, I have always thought u r very beautiful.U have beautiful eyes and a beautiful smile and nice lips and symmetrical features. But the way we carry ourselves and the emotions we hold within leaves us feeling “ugly”, like how anxiety becomes dermatilomania. I think the fact that you are choosing not to focus on what everyone else thinks is a great start :)
I think it’s okay to not care what anyone thinks about you because really who cares. But people tend to use that as an excuse to neglect their health, hygiene and lifestyle. I think you should still love yourself and present yourself the way you want to, to the world but also not at the expense of yourself.

I mean one minute you're like no I want that person and then the next your like hmmm maybe lol. That happened to me once.
Hey Cassie!! I’m looking to dive back into wearing a bit of makeup again and I’ve always trusted your opinion. What’s your favourite CC cream? 😊
Ppl really not getting the message of the video. I love ur take on things, and always have. Always love seeing u post…been watching since i was a freshie in hs; im 25 now
I bought a pair of black leather sling back kitten heal pointy toe dress shoes worn with wide leg dark wash denim because of them😂 they were the $h¡t!
This is how I'm finding out about the reboot and I'm obsessed with the more modern mindset they're approaching it with!!!
I also watched the show back in the day. My anxiety made me fill so sorry for these people. I would have been mortified to think someone went into my closet. Touched my clothes and then decided what I should wear and how I should look. Cookie cutter style. I may not be a style maven, but my skin fits
I remember Denise. Her slogan was, "Don't just bring it, BLING IT!"
If these comments tell me anything, it's that TH-cam is still the single most toxic social media platform on the internet. I'm sorry you have to read so many armchair diognostics about depression and self-esteem. Sigh.
this video uplifted my mood a ton, really! i struggle with my mental health and issues regarding self-esteem, and i hope i can capture the essence of "i don't give an F" more with time. its happy to see you feeling free and more comfy in your own skin, you deserve it 💓
I loved that show too, I was a teenager when it aired. I remember a.woman who kept her style and she loved whimsical fairytale mixed pattern clothes.
Do you remember th adorable little woman who wore fairy wings all the time? She looked heartbroken when they took away all her wings. It was so sad and she was so cute. The wings suited her personality. Why take away something that makes a person so happy?! Right? I loved the show too though.😌💗
Yoga ball? 7:00 Hello from Chilliwack BC Canada, I to suffer from anorexia, body dismorphia (sp?), agoraphobia, anxiety & depression, i am 60yrs old & find it really hard to function most days, i so enjoyed todays video, i thank-you so much for it
That’s a helluva combination right there, I am so sorry. I wondered if I was agoraphobic when I was young but it was never the fear of being out of my house and more so the fear of social interaction. It has persisted my entire life.
Yay!! I love your chatty grwm videos!
Thank you so much for uploading 💕👏🏼
Most people who dress sloppy outside their homes are not happy with themselves. Please don’t give up, Cassie.
Agree. It's like a sign of defeat
or they are comfortable and don't care what others think about them? sounds like a win to me
Well I usually dress very casually daily as I can't afford the time and effort involved but I'm far from depressed and love to dress up for occasions! I think it can differ from person to person.😊
I think she dresses good! She just posted a week of outfits and I think they all looked great
That's a bold assertion to make.
Hi Cassie! I hope everything is going okay ❤️ excited to watch!
I like where you're headed. I've had the same thoughts the past couple of months. Thanks, Cassie.
What Not To Wear was something that my mom and I would watch. There were a couple other programs after that or before that we also watched. So I will have to tell her about this!
Love this chit chat grwm! Totally agree with your message! Something I really needed to hear.
The original of that show was British and the presenters were Trinny and Suzannah. In one episode Trinny made a woman take off her knickers on camera!
Wow!! The level of inappropriateness aired on television back in the day was a wild time
@@heatherrae901Back in the day? How bout right now!!? Lol 😮
@@angelh3771 You have a point! I’ve seen some stuff I never thought I’d see on television and social media here in the last few years.
@@heatherrae901 it's crazy sometimes 😂🤦🤦
Snog marry avoid was also fun. I love a makeover show..most of the time they looked like train wrecks at the end and went back to their old fashion 😂
I like Cassie. She's real and no bs. At 62 I wear what I want. Life is short.
best takeaway from WNTW: if your clothes fit, you will look and feel your best.
easier said than done.
Your Capricorn moon has always spoke to my Cap sun. This is our true form.
Always love a makeup video.🎉
Hi Cassie! I hope you have a great day😊 I love the blue liner it makes your eyes pop❤
Omg same about blazers in middleschool because Stacey and Clinton said😂
Omg I used to love that show!!
It definitely comes with age! I was a huge fan of WNTW also, and I always said I wish they would come back and do it again, but this is even better.
You've just gotten complacent because you're in a relationship. If you were still looking for a man, you would care.
So you just dress for man ? Thats sad too
I have always marched to a different drummer than the average person.
LOVE the eyeliner!
Times like this I'm glad I was too poor to have cable tv
I hope to get there one day. Love you Cassie!!!
Love that eyeliner❤
All i can say is : I can relate. 100%
That blue eyeliner rocks!
I spent my 7th grade year looking like a corporate woman because of blazers and slacks 🤣
😂😊
Waiiittt, I LOVED that show 🤩 I’m happy to hear they’re returning
Im in my 40s and my i Dont give an F is a beautiful thing!!!! Im comfortable w myself and who i am!!! I will always physically take care of myself but as far as what anyone thinks about my appearance or clothing choices ...I DONT GIVE A F&$K !!!!! 🫶🏽‼️😁
Good to see you today Cassie! I'm 55 and gave up giving a " f**k years ago. Welcome to the clun😂🎉🎉
Hey idk if you even remember me but I knew you back in high school, and I always thought you were pretty rad and tbh I'm not friends with any of those people any more either so it might not have been a you problem
I googled who gives a fuk and Cassie's name didn't come up 😂
I commend you Cassie!!! It’s so liberating to “not care” what others think. Wishing you personal freedom and happiness 😊💓😊
My problem is I can't find clothes that I like so I end up having to wear things I don't want to!
What about thrift shopping 🤗 I've recently fell in love w it and found some great things! 💖
In bloopers - they had people who just walked out.
3am. I needed this. ❤
Your hair is looking so good and thick nowadays. I need to know what
You did xx
Hi Cassie! Long time!
Hope you're doing well!
We want to see hair with gel or fixing spray
It comes with age. It's beautiful thing ❤
